Eminem honors DJ Kay Slay on Shade 45: “It was honor to know you bro, Drama King, we love you.”
Two weeks ago, Legendary New York City DJ and graffiti writer DJ Kay Slay has passed away following 4-months battle with COVID-19.
To honor hip-hop’s one of the great producers, Eminem made a statement through his own radio station, Shade 45:
“Yo, this is Eminem. Just want to say rest in peace to one of our family members here in Shade 45. Kay Slay, The Drama King, who has been with us since the beginning. It was honor to know you bro, on behalf of everybody here at the station, just wanna say, to the legend, Drama King, we love you bro. We gonna miss you, rest in peace my friend.”
