Royce 5’9″ talks how he handled Joe Budden & Eminem beef

Royce Da 5’9″ has recently sat down with Math Hoffa on My Expert Opinion’s latest episode, where the Detroit legend talked about Eminem, Joe Buddden, Slaughterhouse, Kxng Crooked, Joell Ortiz and many other topics.

“Me and Joe’s relationship is a reconciliation. I’m not turning my back on Joe Budden. Joe made comments about Marshall and people over there don’t f**k with him at all. A lot of people were looking at me like ‘yo, why do you still f**king with Joe.’ My answer to that is, because he’s my friend. And my responsibility as friends to both sides is to not tell them how they should feel. You should be able to feel how you wanna feel. I’m not telling you how the problems are solved. You have the liberty and you have the luxury to handle your problems however you want to handle it. And with Joe, how I handle my friends is I don’t stick my friends in trash when they make mistakes.” said Royce.

Then he continues: “Joe made a mistake. I disagree with it. Me and Joe had small falling out about it. We talked about it. We got past it. He apologized to me. He told me he loved me. And he’s still my friend to this day. Even though, I know that I could have took a more business approach if it was just about the money and just moved on from him. And continue to nurture the relationship with Shady Records. I’m not cut like that. If you are my friend, then you are my friend. Some people say ‘he always defended Marshall’, well s**t, I’m always defending all my friends. They said the same thing about Joe and Wu -Tang s**t. Joe said something about an icon that I despised about the fact that he did that. But he’s my man and my thing is to tell him how I feel about it.”

Joe Budden laughs at The Game’s Eminem-diss record

Few days ago, The Game released “Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind” album, which includes a track “The Black Slim Shady,” a diss-track aimed at Eminem.

In one of his latest episodes on Joe Budden Podcast, Joe Budden and his crew talked about the song.

“Don’t make me jump in there [discussion about ‘The Black Slim Shady.’ I’m trying to have a good time with it. Don’t make it serious,” said Budden. “You all like Game as Eminem better than Eminem as Eminem? ENOUGH OF YOUR THOUGHTS! You liked that song?! We booty clapping today? Are we not gonna tell the truth about that song?”

Then he continues: “I was listening to that s**t, saying, ‘why is Game doing that?’ If you don’t want to hear Em like this, I don’t wanna hear him like this! I don’t like it when the inventor of it do it in a voice and style that he worked on his entire life, so regardless of maybe fans being off it, he has crafted that. Game can do that, cool but you gotta know when to not do it. Game raps better than that… That’s the only song I can comment cause I didn’t hear the rest. That song… c’mon man..”

The Game makes fun of Eminem’s childhood haircut

The Game has been addicted to Eminem since last year!

It all started with The Drink Champs interview, where the Compton rapper declared that he’s better rapper than Eminem and challenged him to a Verzuz battle.

Couple of weeks ago, Game went further as he dropped “The Black Slim Shady” track from his “Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind” album, which is 10-minutes diss track aimed at Eminem.

The West Coast rapper also commented under Hailie’s pictures on Facebook, asking fans if she can rap.

Eminem has not responded yet, or maybe he already did. Couple of days ago, Slim Shady posted a picture of him Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg in the studio with the caption: “Just a few bros hanging out,” showing The Game that the best rappers from his own state are on his side.

The Game is not getting tired of Eminem’s silence as he’s continuing to provoke the Detroit legend by commenting Eminem’s childhood picture under one of the posts on Facebook.

The first thing he said to me was like ‘yo, you are f**king star dude.’ And I was like ‘EMINEM…Slim Shady…Marshall Mathers told me I’m a star.’ [laughs] It’s a hunger that you have as an artist that even when your idol tells you you are a star you still are like ‘yo I need to prove it. Nah, those ni**as really don’t know it.’ But that s**t was really wild cause I was like ‘what is he seeing in me that makes him think I’m a star?!’

Fortnite may be teasing Eminem collaboration

Fortnite may be teasing some kind of Eminem event or a collaboration, though we are not sure exactly what that will look like.

Fortnite is one of the biggest games in the industry right now and has really evolved into a gigantic platform. The game is famous for its crossovers with Disney, Marvel, DC, and other big brands around the world.

Back in 2020, one of the biggest film directors of this generation, Christopher Nolan even debuted the trailer for Tenet movie in Fortnite game. Epic Games has even held concerts within the game for major artists like Travis Scott and Ariana Grande.

With that said, it seems like another concert or some other kind of event is on the way. Over the weekend, Fortnite players began noticing that the ICONs radio station in the game was only playing Eminem songs, including Venom, the song featured in the Marvel movie by the same name.

All the songs that were playing in the game was from Eminem’s latest compilation project “Curtain Call 2” which is his greatest hits album from 2009 to 2022.

This might be the promotion of CC2 or some big event, featuring Eminem, is coming!

Eminem’s single track “Is This Love” outstreams The Game’s entire 31-tracks new album

Last week, The Game released his 11th solo studio album, titled Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind.

The album includes guest appearances from, Kanye West, Drake, Ice-T, Fivio Foreign, Roddy Ricch, NBA YoungBoy, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Moneybagg Yo, A$AP Rocky, Jeremih, Pusha T, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Dreezy, G Herbo, Blxst, Big Sean, French Montana, Tory Lanez, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Blueface, Twista, Cam’ron, Chlöe, and Cassie across its other 3 1tracks.

There is also a 10-minutes diss-track called “The Black Slim Shady” aimed at Eminem. The album also included a song “World Tours” featuring Nipsey Hussle but the late rapper’s brother demanded the song to be removed from the album.

With 30 new tracks and star-studded guest list, The Game could not manage to outstream a single Eminem track “Is This Love,” featuring 50 Cent, from Curtain Call 2 album, which is a track from 2009 and was re-recorded for the new greatest hits compilation album.

Drillmatic album’s total Spotify streams in the first day: 960,000

“Is This Love” single’s streams in the first day: 987,000

The Game’s new album is also projected to sell around 40,000 album units in it’s first week of release, which is less than Eminem’s “Curtain Call 2,” which is a compilation of his songs released from 2009 to this day.

The Game’s new album is expected to sell less than Eminem’s greatest hits compilation album

Couple of days ago, The Game dropped his tenth solo studio album titled Drillmatic – Mind vs. Heart and it includes a song called “The Black Slim Shady,” a diss-track to Eminem.

The track is the longest song on the 31-track album and it references several of Eminem’s own songs including “Stan,” “My Name Is,” “Lose Yourself” and “The Real Slim Shady.”

Earlier this month, Eminem also released his second installment of greatest hits album, Curtain Call 2, which included practically no new songs and it sold 45,000 album units in its first week.

According to HitsDailyDouble, The Game’s 31-tracked album which features from some big names in music industry, is expected to sell less than 40,000 in it’s first week in US.

If you were looking Eminem’s response to The Game’s diss-track, the answer is here. Slim Shady outsold the Compton rapper with a playlist of his old songs.
