Cassidy shares his opinion on The Game’s Eminem-diss record

One of the hardest battle rappers and one of the most lyrical hip-op artists, Cassidy has recently sat down with Ugly Money TV where the two talked about many things, including The Game’s “The Black Slim Shady,” track from his latest album “Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind,” where the West Coast rapper disses Eminem from 10 straight minutes.

“It’s dope man, I like people being competitive. Every reaction has a reaction. So, let’s just see what’s the reaction from Eminem and his team. As long as it just stay on wax who’s the best on the mic, I with that. I’m all about proving who the best is. I’ve been on that type time – battling, being competitive. That’s how hip-hop started on. I’m all with it.” said Cassidy.

“Him saying he’s better than Eminem, it’s his opinion. They both nice. They both dope. They go thorough different type of directions. Two different rappers but Eminem is one of the greatest. So if you diss him, you gotta diss him right way with the right information. You gotta do it right type of way because if he come back at you it could go crazy. You already seen him crazy plenty of times.” Cassidy added.

Then interviewer asked how Cassidy’s diss-track towards Eminem would sound like, on which, East Coast rapper replied: “Nah, I love Eminem man. I got no reason to diss him. I love Detroit. I love all them motherf**kers. That’s like really hip-hop place. I f**k with Eminem. He made history so many times and that ni**a can really rap. That ni**a can put bars together and that’s dope. He can do any type of hip-hop. He really into the culture. He’s not the ni**a that’s unfamiliar to what’s going on. That ni**a is super informed. So, I don’t wanna diss Eminem. I wanna work with him. I wanna meet him. I wanna talk to him. I don’t wanna battle Eminem. I have no problems with him.”

Math Hoffa, Grafh & 38 Spesh discuss The Game’s Eminem diss-record

Math Hoffa, Esso, Mr. Mecc, Hynaken and Sean Bigga have recently sat down with Grafh and 38 Spesh on the latest episode of My Expert Opinion where the crew talked about the best diss tracks in history and this is where the discussion about The Game’s “The Black Slim Shady” started.

Mr. Mecc: Nobody talking about The Game’s diss-track because it was not good. We were talking about top 5. Why brining that record up?

Hynaken: Where does it rank? Maybe top 99? [Laughs]

Esso: I think the record is okay. I think its a little long for me to get into. I think the records duration is kind of long to listen to but it was okay.

Grafh: In my opinion as an emcee, if he took the dopest parts of the song and turn it into one verse it would have been a f**king smoker. He was some creative s**t and doing other s**t and made art out of this s**t. I ain’t mad it was an idea. Third verse was stupid, its crazy. Fourth was alright. Some other parts was cool too. If you took dopest parts and made one long verse ni**as be talking about that s**t. I think he was just trying to be creative.

Mr. Mecc: I think the part of the reason this track is not getting a conversation is because, every diss-track has a story behind it, this diss-track kinda came out nowhere. Like, why do you have a problem with Eminem after all this time? Em has not even addressed it.

Orlando Brown says Kendrick Lamar wrote The Game’s Eminem-diss record

Actor, rapper and singer Orlando Brown, best known for his roles as Cadet Kevin ‘Tiger’ Dunne in Major Payne, 3J Winslow in Family Matters, Max in Two of a Kind, Damey Wayne “Waynehead” in Waynehead, Sticky Webb in The Proud Family, Cornelius Fillmore in Fillmore!, Eddie Thomas in That’s So Raven, and Frankie in Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-Off, has recently sat down for the interview on Cam Capone News where he talked about The Game’s Eminem-diss record “The Black Slim Shady.”

“I’ve heard like three seconds of it and I don’t like it. It’s none of my business.” said Orlando. “Ten minutes? Why ten minutes? It’s personal. Really, really personal. What was the point of that? You guys are from the same camp, it had to be personal. I don’t like it and I think Kendrick did it. Kendrick Lamar wrote that s**t. Everybody knows Game does not write his own lyrics.”

Then he continues: “Eminem is never gonna respond to f**king Game. It’s just not gonna happen. It’s just so distasteful. I that think he’s that SHOOK about it. I think it’s hilarious for Eminem. It would be f**king funny to me if I was Eminem. I would be like ‘AHAHAH GAME DID A DISS-TRACK ON ME?!’ That’s f**king hilarious. ‘Let me go chill with Bon Jovi and talk about it over some f**king sushi.'”

Then the two continue talking about Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s upcoming project. You can watch the interview below:

D12’s Bizarre alludes that Stat Quo ghostwrote The Game’s Eminem-diss track

Bizarre of D12 has recently appeared on the latest episode of The Bootleg Kev Podcas where he spoke about The Game’s Eminem-diss track, “The Black Slim Shady,” from his new album called Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind.

“I just feel like I couldn’t get past the Eminem voice,” Bizarre said of the 10-minute song from Compton rapper. “I know Game can rap better than that. I know he is a problem as a battle rapper, a guy that’s into lyrics. I feel like that was a nice little cute intro. He never got out of that, though. He stayed in Marshall’s body for the whole 10 minutes. When we gonna get Game? We know he can do it, so what happened?”

“I was not a fan of that song, nah, nah. I think he could have did better — or Stat Quo could have did better.” he added.

When Kev asked whether he was suggesting that The Game gets ghostwriting help from former Shady Records member, Bizarre remarked, “I ain’t say nothing, man. Shout out to Game.” adding a sneaky laugh.

The Game names 3 reasons why he dissed Eminem

In an interview on the Rap Radar podcast, The Game addressed his recent 10-minute Eminem diss track “The Black Slim Shady” on “Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind” album. Speaking with Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller, the West Coast rapper named few reasons he went against Eminem.

“What’s the reason going at Eminem? Number one, just because nobody does. Number two, I pissed off a lot of people with that song, you know Em got a lot of Stans. But as far as it being personal, it’s not personal. I came up on Em too. I remember the first time that ‘My Name Is’ came out. I was, like, ‘whoa’-ed by it. I felt the same feeling when I heard that, that I felt when I heard “Juicy” from Notorious B.I.G. the first time. … I always f**ked with Em,” he said.

The Game continues with revealed third reason of dissing Eminem: “I think me and 50’s fallout kinda made Eminem choose a side and he was not doing the s**t that I did. He was like, ‘I’m going with 50. F**k you n***as.’ But I just felt like I had some emotions, a little bit, about Super Bowl s**t and all of that. And that’s Dre’s boy, and Dre don’t rap. So it’s like, if I wanna have a conversation with Dre or I’m mad at Dre, let me poke shots at Eminem. And 50 can’t out-rap me, he’s doing his TV thing and more power to him, the shows are great. But as far as rap s**t, I got that locked. So the only person I could rap with, or try to poke the bear and see if he really want to go there, is Em.”

Then interviewer asked about The Game’s Top 10 rapper tweet from last year, where the Compton rapper puts Eminem at No. 4. On that Game replied: “There are emcees out there that you might have thought was number one at one time and not your favorite anymore. Another thing is, it’s like Floyd Mayweather and Muhammad Ali thing. If he’s number four and I feel like I’m number one for me, why would not I take shot or challenge everybody in my top 10? why not? If you met Floyd Mayweather when you were coming up in Olympics and he ended up being undefeated and now you have the chance to fight him you turn it down because you are a fan? Are you not training to be better than Floyd? With Em, it was not a personal thing. I did it with Hov when I was younger. Hip-Hop gotta be interesting. These ni**as these days are goddamn boring or everytime somebody wants to beef somebody got to die, I don’t get that. Sometimes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s just hip-hop and leave it that way. If I see Em, I’m NOT FIGHTING EMINEM. Lyrically, outside maybe Em or Kendrick or Cole or some of these super lyrical ni**as, I don’t think nobody can lyrically go at me.”

Pat Stay defends Eminem by dropping The Game diss-track “Warm Up”

About a month ago, The Game dropped an Eminem diss track on his Drillmati: Heart Vs. Mind album, called “The Black Slim Shady.” The controversial 10-minutes song earned the Compton rapper lots of backlash, including a diss track of his own from renowned battle rapper Pat Stay.

“I gotta say, as a fan of you The Game it’s been hard to watch you desperately begging for Eminem attention trying to battle him. Trust me, I respect the hunger, but once you start that whole ‘he only blew up because he’s white’ type s**t it comes off more hater-ish than competitive.” Stay wrote on his Instagram post and challenged him to a battle. “Lots of famous rappers have jumped in the ring to solidify their positions as lyricists and real MCs. And that seems to be what you’ve been trying to prove. So bring it. I’m that white boy you need to see first.”

The Game did not responded directly but he block Pat Stay on social media, which led the underground star to drop off his “Warm Up” diss track featuring Kaleb Simmonds. The song Eminem’s “Stan.”

Some of the quotable lyrics include Pat rapping from Game’s perspective: “Dear Slim, I wrote you and you still haven’t responded / Pat Stay called me out, I got scared and blocked him / I never meant to hurt you, but tonight I’m cleaning out my closet.”

Two days after releasing the diss-track, acclaimed Nova Scotia battle rapper Pat Stay was the victim of a fatal stabbing in downtown Halifax.

Joe Budden laughs at The Game’s Eminem-diss record

Few days ago, The Game released “Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind” album, which includes a track “The Black Slim Shady,” a diss-track aimed at Eminem.

In one of his latest episodes on Joe Budden Podcast, Joe Budden and his crew talked about the song.

“Don’t make me jump in there [discussion about ‘The Black Slim Shady.’ I’m trying to have a good time with it. Don’t make it serious,” said Budden. “You all like Game as Eminem better than Eminem as Eminem? ENOUGH OF YOUR THOUGHTS! You liked that song?! We booty clapping today? Are we not gonna tell the truth about that song?”

Then he continues: “I was listening to that s**t, saying, ‘why is Game doing that?’ If you don’t want to hear Em like this, I don’t wanna hear him like this! I don’t like it when the inventor of it do it in a voice and style that he worked on his entire life, so regardless of maybe fans being off it, he has crafted that. Game can do that, cool but you gotta know when to not do it. Game raps better than that… That’s the only song I can comment cause I didn’t hear the rest. That song… c’mon man..”

The Game has been addicted to Eminem since last year!

It all started with The Drink Champs interview, where the Compton rapper declared that he’s better rapper than Eminem and challenged him to a Verzuz battle.

The Game’s new album is expected to sell less than Eminem’s greatest hits compilation album

Couple of days ago, The Game dropped his tenth solo studio album titled Drillmatic – Mind vs. Heart and it includes a song called “The Black Slim Shady,” a diss-track to Eminem.

“So ficky-ficky Slim Shady, please, stand up/Shoot the fade with me, I’d love to put these hands up. I could .40 Glock you, unarmed/Drop the world on your head with one arm/Dear Slim, Hailie’s with me and she’s unharmed—for now.” raps West Coast emcee.
