Nicki Minaj shows love to Eminem, 50 Cent & G-Unit from MTV stage

On August 28, 2022, Nicki Minaj performed at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards in Newark, New Jersey.

She delivered a medley that included her greatest hits like “Super Bass,” “Super Freaky Girl,” “Monster,” “Beez in the Trap,” “Anaconda,” “Chun-Li,” “Roman’s Revenge,” “Moment 4 Life,” “All Things Go,” and more.

She also co-hosted the show and received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

After insisting her assistant bring her a phone with some detailed notes, she thanked influences including Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh, as well as artists who gave her opportunities: Rihanna, Britney Spears, Madonna, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Eminem. She also shouted out her fans, plus Drake and the Young Money team.

“I wanna take a second to thank all of the key people who inspired me. Inspired my flow, Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown, Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and then people who gave me huge opportunities that I’ll never forget, Kanye West, Beyoncé, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Eminem, Britney Spears, Rihanna… I have to thank Dreezy for always saying things that I need to hear to get me back in the game…” she said.

After winning “Best Hip-Hop” category, Nicki added some more people to thank from the stage and she included 50 Cent and G-Unit.

Eminem & Snoop Dogg perform “From The D 2 The LBC” at the 2022 MTV VMAs

Eminem and Snoop Dogg have just hit the MTV VMA’s stage for a one-of-a-kind performance of “From the D 2 The LBC.”

Slim Shady and Snoop Doggy Dogg transformed the “VMAs” stage for a first of its kind performance of “From the D 2 The LBC” inside the world of the Otherside metaverse in partnership with Yuga Labs. This is the first metaverse inspired performance to ever grace an award show.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg are up for “Best Hip Hop” category with “From The D 2 The LBC,” the first collaboration between hip hop legends in over two decades. They are up against Future, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Pusha T and Latto. The winner will be announced shortly.

B.o.B. recalls Eminem’s reaction when he heard André 3000’s verse on “Play The Guitar”

B.o.B has recently sat down with B High Atl where he revealed Eminem’s reaction when he played him “Play The Guitar” with André 3000.

“I remember when I was in the studio with Eminem. I played Eminem “Play The Guitar” and I remember Em being like ‘s**t, you just never know where he (André 3000) gonna land at.” said B.o.B.

Then he continues: “I know what he meant when he said that because, first of all, you gotta put this in perspective that I grew up listening to Eminem. This ni**a was that ni**a! And I was watching him listen to André 3000 verse on my song and he was like ‘you never know where he’s gonna land with the flow’ and I’m just like ‘yo this is wild to me.’ The way Andre approaches verses…He’s like a storytelling journalist.”

DJ Khaled reveals how he managed to put Kanye West, Eminem & Dr. Dre song on his album

DJ Khaled sat down with Zane Lowe to celebrate a new chapter for his artistry with his thirteenth studio album, ‘GOD DID’.

He discusses the ups and downs of the journey it took to make this album.

“Produced by Dr. Dre! This is the gift from Kanye, Dre and Eminem. Gift not just to me but to the world.” said Khaled. “Me and Kanye worked on a few records but we didn’t finish them. They are incredible records.”

Then he continues: “I called Kanye one day and I said I got an idea. He came by my house a year and half ago, eight in the morning he just showed up at my house, I didn’t know he was coming. We go to my studio. I play music, he plays new music. We both inspire each-other. He plays me an incredible album that he did with one of my idols, Dr. Dre. He played it from top to bottom for me. I could not believe what I was hearing…So now, on the phone, I said ‘I remember you playing me this Dr. Dre and Eminem record and y’all were talking about god. I was speaking that gospel. I said ‘it would be beautiful if we could put that on God Did album’.”

“Ye hits back and says ‘I love the idea’.” Khaled continues. “He said ‘I’m down but we get to get obvious, I gotta call Dre and get his blessings of course Em’s blessings.’ After I hang up with Ye, I called Dr. Dre. He said ‘I’m down but we gotta make sure Em’s down for it too.’ And I was like ‘OF COURSE.'”

Jay-Z shouts out Eminem on a new song with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne

DJ Khaled has just dropped a star-studded album “God Did,” which includes a long-awaited “Use This Gospel” remix by Kanye West and Eminem, produced by Dr. Dre.

The new project also includes a song with the same title as the album, “God Did,” featuring Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, John Legend and Fridayy.

In the song, Jay-Z gives a little shout out to Eminem with the following lines: “E was down ten for this / We just got his ten back then went back like, “Where the interests is?” / Em light up the O3 / We let y’all do the zazas, OG for the OGs / Some new ni**as out of pocket, talkin’ exotic / You barely been in the Baham— (Haha) that’s another topic.”

“Em light up the O3 (’03)” looks like to be a double entendre. Emory Jones lighting up the cigar that Hov is producing and Eminem lighting up the year 2003.

This is not the first time Hov is giving Eminem a nod. On a 2003 song “Excuse Me Miss,” with Pharrell Williams, Jay raps: “Got one chef, one maid, all I need is a partner / To play spades with the cards up, ALL TRUST / Who else you gon’ run with? The truth is us / Only dudes movin’ units – Em, Pimp Juice and us.”

On a 2009 song “A Star Is Born,” with J. Cole, Jigga raps: “Wayne did ‘A Milli,’ 50 did a milli / Ye too, but what Em did was silly / The white boy blossomed after Dre endorsed him / His flow on “Renegade,” f**king awesome! / Applaud him!”

Royce 5’9″ talks how he handled Joe Budden & Eminem beef

Royce Da 5’9″ has recently sat down with Math Hoffa on My Expert Opinion’s latest episode, where the Detroit legend talked about Eminem, Joe Buddden, Slaughterhouse, Kxng Crooked, Joell Ortiz and many other topics.

“Me and Joe’s relationship is a reconciliation. I’m not turning my back on Joe Budden. Joe made comments about Marshall and people over there don’t f**k with him at all. A lot of people were looking at me like ‘yo, why do you still f**king with Joe.’ My answer to that is, because he’s my friend. And my responsibility as friends to both sides is to not tell them how they should feel. You should be able to feel how you wanna feel. I’m not telling you how the problems are solved. You have the liberty and you have the luxury to handle your problems however you want to handle it. And with Joe, how I handle my friends is I don’t stick my friends in trash when they make mistakes.” said Royce.

Then he continues: “Joe made a mistake. I disagree with it. Me and Joe had small falling out about it. We talked about it. We got past it. He apologized to me. He told me he loved me. And he’s still my friend to this day. Even though, I know that I could have took a more business approach if it was just about the money and just moved on from him. And continue to nurture the relationship with Shady Records. I’m not cut like that. If you are my friend, then you are my friend. Some people say ‘he always defended Marshall’, well s**t, I’m always defending all my friends. They said the same thing about Joe and Wu -Tang s**t. Joe said something about an icon that I despised about the fact that he did that. But he’s my man and my thing is to tell him how I feel about it.”

DJ Khaled releases Kanye West & Eminem’s “Use This Gospel” remix, produced by Dr. Dre

DJ Khaled is back with his latest studio album, called God Did.

The follow-up to last year’s Khaled Khaled features guest appearances from one of the biggest names in music industry, including Kanye West and Eminem on a song titled “Use This Gospel,” produced by Dr. Dre

Back in 2021, Kanye West revealed that he collaborated with Eminem and Dr. Dre for a remix of “Use This Gospel: “Eminem Thank you for rapping on the Dr. Dre remix of use this gospel I have always loved and respected you and im honored to have you bless this song … Its also North West’s favorite Kanye West song of all time,” wrote Ye on Twitter.

“Use This Gospel” is a spiritual track, which appeared on Kanye West 2019’s album “Jesus is King“. The original version feature Clipse, the duo of Pusha T and No Malice. Kenny G also assisted with a solo Saxophone cameo.

As it turns out, Kanye West gave the track to DJ Khaled to release. You can bump the new track below:

Joe Budden laughs at The Game’s Eminem-diss record

Few days ago, The Game released “Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind” album, which includes a track “The Black Slim Shady,” a diss-track aimed at Eminem.

In one of his latest episodes on Joe Budden Podcast, Joe Budden and his crew talked about the song.

“Don’t make me jump in there [discussion about ‘The Black Slim Shady.’ I’m trying to have a good time with it. Don’t make it serious,” said Budden. “You all like Game as Eminem better than Eminem as Eminem? ENOUGH OF YOUR THOUGHTS! You liked that song?! We booty clapping today? Are we not gonna tell the truth about that song?”

Then he continues: “I was listening to that s**t, saying, ‘why is Game doing that?’ If you don’t want to hear Em like this, I don’t wanna hear him like this! I don’t like it when the inventor of it do it in a voice and style that he worked on his entire life, so regardless of maybe fans being off it, he has crafted that. Game can do that, cool but you gotta know when to not do it. Game raps better than that… That’s the only song I can comment cause I didn’t hear the rest. That song… c’mon man..”
