White Gold says “Hey Slim” track with Eminem never coming out

Are you ready to get on a new Eminem album hype train? Then…jump in. Yesterday, a user on X who goes by the username @davidhayes1017 and calls himself ‘Music Industry Insider,’ tweeted: “Rihanna, Lil Wayne, & White Gold are listed as TBA Guest Features for an Album under “Unknown” with “Rapper” on the title. Unless there’s a mistake on the Uploader’s End who posted the Slate for March 15th. Next week is empty for Hip Hop besides this artist. It isn’t Kanye.

As the user’s description says, he’s MEDIA PRODUCER, Film Director/Producer. Boxing Analysts and Emmy Award Winning Journalist. He even made a poll asking fans who they think is dropping on March 15 and Eminem dominates with more than 90% of the votes. That’s how hungry Slim Shady fans are right now.

Under the initial tweet, someone commented: “White Gold previewed a track where he starts singing “Hey, slim”. Em has been in the studio for some time, he also confirmed he’s working on “a little something”. And both Rihanna and Wayne are possible features for a new Em project! Do you know anything else about this drop?” On that, White Gold replied: “That song is never coming out…I hadn’t even sent it. It was just an idea I was working on that I forgot to put in my close friends. Sorry.

This lyrics of the song mentions “Slim” and references “As The World Turns,” a 1999 song where Eminem appears entirely as Slim Shady, an alias which represents the dark and impulsive side of his personality. The intro of the snippet goes like this: “Hey Slim, wanna get wasted? / You got all the money in the world, I know your bored / No, but really, Slim / You know you can have 2 million hoes when you tour, maybe more / Look, I thought you was a rapper / Besides the money, ain’t this what you doin’ it for? / Maybe I’m wrong, and as the world turns / You know the public is movin’ on from you, right?”

White Gold and Eminem have previously collaborated on two tracks, “You Gon’ Learn” with Royce 5’9″ and “Zeus”, both from Music To Be Murdered By album. Couple of years ago, the musician hinted that more songs with Em was on the way.

In some related news, few hours ago, Mr. Cii, who previously remixed Eminem’s “Rap God” which finally ended up as a surprise bonus track on Slim Shady’s second greatest hits album Curtain Call 2. On January 16th 2022, Mr. Cii commented on a Paul Rosenberg Twitter post to check out a remix he made. Paul saw the comment and asked for a Dropbox link to which Mr. Cii would send the song. Maybe Mr. Cii got another banger for Em?

Skylar Grey reveals Eminem gave her big kiss after Grammy performance

Back in 2011, Eminem, Rihanna, Dr. Dre, Skylar Grey and Adam Levine performed “Love The Way You Lie (Part 2)” and “I Need A Doctor” at the 53rd annual Grammy awards.

Couple of days ago, Skylar Grey revealed that she was not satisfied by her performance and Eminem gave her a big kiss to calm her down. Skylar shared a short video of the show on Instagram with the caption:

“The most surreal moment in my life as a performer,” she said “I dreamed about being on that stage since childhood. After we got off stage, Em gave me a big kiss on the cheek and seemed very pleased with the performance. However, I locked myself in my dressing room and cried because I thought I did not sing good! Will forever be hard on myself but I guess that is what keeps me reaching…”

It’s not the first time the singer recalls the surreal moment of her career. In the Genius annotation, Skylar Grey wrote: “The most amazing thing for me with this was getting to perform at the Grammys with Dr. Dre and Eminem (‘I Need A Doctor’) when Rihanna opened up our medley with ‘Love The Way You Lie.’ That was a really special moment in my life.”

“I Need A Doctor” is a cinematic song detailing the relationship between Eminem and Dr. Dre. The song is produced by Alex da Kid and was supposed to be included in mystical Dre album, DETOX. In the song, Em raps about Dre being stuck creatively, unable to make music the way he used to due to his grief and depression. Em, who went through this himself after his best friend died in 2006, is making a passionate attempt to get through to him so Dre will start believing in his own abilities again.

That night at the Grammys, Eminem had most nominations than any artist and won Best Rap Solo Performance for “Not Afraid,” beating “Over” by Drake, “How Low” by Ludacris, “I’m Back” by T.I. and “Power” by Kanye West and Best Rap Album for Recovery, besting The Adventures Of Bobby Ray by B.o.B., “Thank Me Later” by Drake, “The Blueprint 3” by Jay-Z and “How I Got Over” by The Roots.

Skylar Grey teases “Love The Way You Lie” (Part 3)

Skylar Grey, who has originally wrote Eminem and Rihanna’s diamond selling single “Love The Way You Lie,” is going to release her own version of the song as a part III which will probably be included in her upcoming new project.

“This was by far the proudest moment of my career as a songwriter so far. Dropping this newly recorded version of Love The Way You Lie Part III on February 10th, 2023.” said Skylar Grey in her latest tweet.

The song is expected to arrive on streaming services three days before Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime show, where the pop megastar is expected to sing “Love The Way You Lie” at State Farm Stadium with Eminem rumored to appear as a special guest.

“Love the Way You Lie” is a song from Eminem’s 2010 album, Recovery. Skylar Grey wrote and recorded a demo of the song alongside the producer Alex da Kid when she felt she was in an abusive romantic relationship with the music industry. Eminem wrote the verses and chose Rihanna to sing the chorus, resulting in a collaboration influenced by their past experiences in difficult relationships.

Will Rihanna bring out Eminem at 2023 Super Bowl? Skylar Grey teases, Yahoo predicts

Super Bowl LVII is right around the corner with Kansas City Chiefs preparing to take on Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and fans are eagerly waiting to see the special guests that Rihanna is supposedly to invite at this year’s event.

Back in September 2022, the National Football League, Apple Music and  Roc Nation announced that Rihanna will be headlining the halftime show for Super Bowl LVII.

Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” said Jay-Z in a statement who managed to make Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak to perform at the last year’s event.

As Yahoo predicts, Eminem might appear for the second time on the biggest stage: “Rihanna will most likely keep the details of her performance under wraps, but she does have hit songs with artists such as Eminem, Drake and Calvin Harris.” – we read in a statement.

Skylar Grey, who originally wrote “Love The Way You Lie” chorus for Eminem, has recently put up Rihanna’s Super Bowl teaser video on her Instagram story with the caption: “Wonder if she’ll do Love The Way You Lie.” She also recently posted a picture of her wearing a t-shirt with “I Love The Way You Lie” written on it and tagged Eminem and Rihanna on the post. Is Skyar hinting on something or is it just her wish the music superstars to perform her most iconic single to date?

Other song options for Rihanna and Eminem are: “Love The Way You Lie (Part II),” which they performed at the 2011 Grammy Awards, “Numb” which was the opening song for their The Monster Tour in 2014 and “The Monster” which they performed at The Concert for Valor in the same year.

Drunk woman sang Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie” while burning her house down

A drunk woman live-streamed herself singing Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love The Way You Lie” lyrics as she sat on the sofa inside the blazing home she had purposefully torched, a court has heard.

28-year-old Katie Richardson, set her semi-detached home in Stockton alight in the early hours of 16 April, while her neighbor’s five children slept next door.

Speaking at a sentencing hearing at Teesside Crown Court on Tuesday 27 September, Prosecutor Tabitha Buck said: “They left the property and saw next door engulfed in flames. The windows were cracking, doors melting and they described the fire as being completely out of control.”

The court heard a woman then approached crews and showed them a Facebook Live of the defendant. It showed Richardson sitting on the sofa filming a dressing gown which was hung up on fire in her living room, singing “Love the Way You Lie” by Eminem featuring Rihanna.

Ms Buck said: “She was not doing anything about the fire instead she was singing Love The Way You Lie by Eminem featuring Rihanna, which has the lyric ‘watch me burn’.

Recorder Simon Richardson stood the case down before her mitigation as he wanted further information before sentencing her. The case will resume at 9:45am on Thursday 29 September.

Dr. Dre reacts to Rihanna headlining Super Bowl 2023, fans want Riri to bring out Eminem

Rihanna has been announced as the performer at next year’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show and the legendary producer Dr. Dre has some advices to a Billionaire mega star.

Yesterday, Rihanna confirmed via her Instagram she would be following in Dre’s footsteps as the headliner of the NFL’s biggest event of the year.

The Aftermath founder has recently talked with Ebro Darden on Apple Music’s Beats 1, where he spoke about the big news: “Oh, my God. Let me tell you something, man. I actually just got the news that Rihanna’s going to do it and I am a super fan of Rihanna. I can not wait to see what she is going to do.” said Dre.

Then he continued: “I just like her and what she does and her get down and how she approaches her artistry and the whole nine. It is fantastic. She] has the opportunity to really blow us away. I know we set the bar extremely high.”

Dre also offered some advice. “Put the right people around you and have fun. That is basically what it is. Making sure you have the right creative people around you. All of these people came through for me and everybody was extremely enthusiastic about the show. We had a good time, although it is a lot of things and a lot of people you have to depend on. So it is an extreme amount of pressure, but it is fun at the same time. When it is done, it is like goosebumps, bro. I got goosebumps, especially from the reaction that we got from the show, and especially being able to do the show with all of my friends.”

Dr. Dre’s Pepsi Super Bowl LVI halftime show performance in February, which featured Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Anderson .Paak, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) earlier this month.

After the announcement, some of the fans stormed the social media, hoping Riri to bring out Eminem for the two mega hits they have made during the last decade: “Love The Way You Lie” and “The Monster.” Check some reactions below:

‘Stranger Things’ stars Millie Brown & Noah Schnapp sing Eminem & Rihanna’s “The Monster”

Stranger Things stars Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown have recently sat down for a game of “Song Association” with Elle few days ago, and needless to say, things got hilariously feisty between the two.

Before they even started the game, the Hollywood stars  confessed that they would put in some practice ahead of time. “I mean, we tried playing it yesterday just for fun,” Schnapp admitted to the camera. “Millie crushed me, so we’ll see how it goes.”

From there, the pals — who play Eleven and Will Byers in the Netflix sci-fi hit, which just dropped season four — went round for round trying to come up with songs and sing them before the other when given a single word. Among their prompts? “Monster” (“Monster by Kanye West and “Monster” by Eminem and Rihanna), “Easy” (“Easy on Me” by Adele) and “Life” (“Life” by Drake, though Brown couldn’t come up with the lyrics and had to substitute Rascal Flatts’ “Life Is a Highway” after time ran out.)

Dominic Monaghan celebrates Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie” hitting 2.4 billion views on YouTube

Eminem’s second single “Love The Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna, has recently surpassed 2.4 billion views on YouTube, making it one of the most watched music videos on the platform.

The video was directed by Joseph Kahn. For the music video, Kahn considered the British actor Dominic Monaghan as a co-star for his versatility, which he thought would help him play an antagonist. He is most known for his roles in the “Lord Of The Rings” and “Lost” TV series.

Kahn also casted one of the biggest starts in Hollywood, Megan Fox, which he had presumed would be almost impossible because of her popularity with directors but Fox, a fan of Eminem, accepted the role without hesitation.

Rosenberg gave Kahn one day to write a treatment, which Kahn finished in 45 minutes. He filmed Eminem’s and Rihanna’s parts on July 20, 2010 scenes with Fox and Monaghan were shot three days later.

With the video recently hitting 2.4 billion views, Monaghan could not resist not to celebrate it on his Instagram story with the caption that reads: “2.4 billion views on YouTube, it remains the great Eminem’s most watched video.”

Eminem almost casted in “Mad Max: Fury Road” instead Tom Hardy & here is why he refused

Eminem was almost casted  in “Mad Max: Fury Road” movie instead Tom Hardy, according to NY Times writer Kyle Buchanan’s book, “Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild and True Story of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’” now excerpted in Vulture magazine.

Production and development executive Petrina Hull revealed that fans wanted Sam Worthington to take over the role of Mad Max. Heath Ledger was also “in the picture” prior to his death in 2008. But lead storyboard artist Mark Sexton recalled a very different favored leading person: Eminem.

“This is something I do not hear about very much and that George never admits, but I have a very, very, very strong memory of George talking about Eminem for Max.” said Mark.

George Miller the director of the movie continued: “He had done ‘8 Mile,’ and I found that really interesting. I thought, ‘He has got that quality.’ We had done the first ‘Happy Feet’ with the late Brittany Murphy, and she had done ‘8 Mile,’ so I asked her what he was like and would this be something really interesting for him? She had no reservations about saying what a wonderful talent he is.

Mark added: “I got brought back in to redraw a bunch of storyboards in March 2007 and do a bunch of cut-and-pastes to put blond hair on Max.”

Miller continued: “We did get in touch with him, though. That’s as far as it went because we were going to shoot it in Australia at that point, and he simply didn’t want to leave home. I think he had the impression that if he could do it out of his home state, then he’d be up for it.”

Miller also personally met with Rihanna to discuss the role of Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron: “Usually, actors turn up dressed very casually, but boy, Rihanna looked spectacular when she walked in. I’m not sure she was even aware of the content of the movie, so she dressed up as Rihanna, which was the right thing to do.”

Eminem turned down many movies for the same reason. Check the list here.

Leaked GTA 6 radio music features Rihanna and Eminem song

According to a fresh leak from a well-known Grand Theft Auto leaker, the first GTA 6 songs have leaked.

Grand Theft Auto VI has yet to be officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, but it’s currently in development for the PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, according to a slew of reports and leaks, and it might be disclosed shortly. A couple tracks may have just leaked ahead of any official announcement or reveal. If the information is correct, this will be the first significant GTA 6 leak.

GTA 6 NEWS & LEAKS, a Twitter user who covers Grand Theft Auto 6 news, rumors, leaks, forecasts, and Easter eggs, just translated a message claiming to have uncovered four tracks in the future game.

According to the translation, the original poster Matheusvictorbr- discovered two songs dubbed “familiar” on a radio segment. The tracks in dispute were Pet Shop Boys’ “Domino Dancing” and Caribou’s “Odessa.”

Another two songs, Santigold’s “Nonsense Youth” and Rihanna and Eminem’s “Numb,” which was released back in 2012, from Riri’s Unapologetic album, were supposedly discovered tied to another, unnamed exclusive radio piece.

Listen to the track below:

UPDATE: Eminem originally recorded “Diamonds” before Rihanna

Rihanna’s  one of the biggest hits, “Diamonds” from “Unapologetic” album, almost went to Eminem. While speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the song’s producer, Benny Blanco, reflected on the origins of the the track which he wrote with Stargate and Sia. Blanco admits that he originally wanted the song to go to Kanye West or Lana Del Rey. However, his collaborators had other ideas: EMINEM.

“Stargate’s like, ‘Yo, we’re giving this song to Rihanna. It’s going to go. And I was like, ‘I don’t know, man. Should we keep the beat for Kanye? I don’t know about it.’”

“I remember, at the same time, I had given a beat CD like a month earlier to Paul Rosenberg to give to Eminem. And apparently, Eminem had done a song to it, too. And I didn’t even know. And I’m sitting there… Dude, so when it happened, Paul was like, ‘Man, Em had that beat on hold.’ I was like, ‘What? I didn’t even know.’”

“I’m sitting there, and then I finally am like, ‘You know what, Stargate?’ I let go. I said, ‘You guys know better. Let’s do it. She cut the song. First of all, the second she cut the song, they were completely right. I was like, ‘This is the best song I’ve ever done.’” said Blanco.

Westside Boogie talks how Rihanna changed his life forever, relationship with Eminem, new album & more

Shady Records’ Westside Boogie has recently set down on Nothing Beats Experience podcast with Smoothvega where the Compton rapper talked about Rihanna, Eminem, signing to LVRN and Shady Records, his upcoming album, mental health and more.

About Rihanna

I was on tour with Denzel Curry when Rihanna sang my ‘Ni**a Needs’ video. I had been signed to Interscope for couple of years and I still only had like 10k followers. So, when Rihanna posted me, I thought it was fake, I thought it was fake page. She posted me and my followers went up from 10K to 150k in like 30 minutes. That’s a power of Rihanna. So Rihanna singlehandedly changed my career forever. I’m forever grateful for her.

Hard times at Interscope

So, I was still on a shelve of Interscope after two years. That was tough for me. Going through ups and downs. All my friends thinking I’m super rich but I was still barely being able to take care of my kid at that time, even though I was signed to one of the biggest labels in the world.

Signing to LVRN and Shady Records

One day, my AR from Interscope told me ‘We have to figure out something. It’s that management group called LVRN and I really feel you are good match’ and at the same time, I randomly got a call from Eminem. I don’t know how the universe did that to me or why it did for me but I think its my constant belief in myself and not giving up. Got a call from Eminem. He said he wanted to meet me. Flew me out to Detroit. And next thing you know, I was signed to Eminem.

His musical influences

I’m such a singing, RnB headass ni**a. I was listening nothing but gospel music at the beginning. Then there was slowly transition to Lauryn Hill. There was a gospel movie “Sister Act 2.” Once I saw it, I thought oh I love this girl. I love Lauryn Hill. And then somehow JAY-Z was introduced into my life. I don’t know how it happened. I think that was the first artist I searched down on my own and I fell in love with Jay. And then I fell in love with Wayne. They are two artists that I ever idolized.

About Eminem

We went to the studio in Detroit. It’s always the same thing with Tracy: “Marshall’s ready for you now,” “Marshall’s ready to see you.” He’s like freaking president. And that’s the part that makes me nervous when she come by like that. Tracy, I love her but she scares me too. Eminem is dope. Before I met him, I was like ‘that’s one of the biggest rapper ever, he is not gonna act like human but then when I met him, he was like just another person trying to figure life out and that’s dope to me. He even knew my songs that was not popular. He knew those songs. He was telling me details about those songs and certain rhyme schemes I did. He was praising my bars it was best thing ever. I was like, oh, I love him. He really cares about the craft. He is so competitive, he’s not going to make you feel support, he going to kill everybody. [laughs] That’s what amazing about him.

His upcoming album

Best thing with working with Shady is that they just let me do my thing. Eminem just waits for me to bring him my new music to him. He does not put too much pressure on me. An album is done but I still have to go to the final Eminem-stage. I played the album to him couple of months ago. My problem is I always hate my songs from couple of months ago. I’m always critiquing myself. I probably have 5 to 10 album material because of that. I have a title of the album but I can’t say it.

Then Boogie continues talking about mental health. You can watch the full interview below:
