Will Rihanna bring out Eminem at 2023 Super Bowl? Skylar Grey teases, Yahoo predicts

Posted on January 29, 2023 By Remy Gelenidze

Super Bowl LVII is right around the corner with Kansas City Chiefs preparing to take on Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and fans are eagerly waiting to see the special guests that Rihanna is supposedly to invite at this year’s event.

Back in September 2022, the National Football League, Apple Music and  Roc Nation announced that Rihanna will be headlining the halftime show for Super Bowl LVII.

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” said Jay-Z in a statement who managed to make Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak to perform at the last year’s event.

As Yahoo predicts, Eminem might appear for the second time on the biggest stage: “Rihanna will most likely keep the details of her performance under wraps, but she does have hit songs with artists such as Eminem, Drake and Calvin Harris.” – we read in a statement.

Skylar Grey, who originally wrote “Love The Way You Lie” chorus for Eminem, has recently put up Rihanna’s Super Bowl teaser video on her Instagram story with the caption: “Wonder if she’ll do Love The Way You Lie.” She also recently posted a picture of her wearing a t-shirt with “I Love The Way You Lie” written on it and tagged Eminem and Rihanna on the post. Is Skyar hinting on something or is it just her wish the music superstars to perform her most iconic single to date?

Other song options for Rihanna and Eminem are: “Love The Way You Lie (Part II),” which they performed at the 2011 Grammy Awards, “Numb” which was the opening song for their The Monster Tour in 2014 and “The Monster” which they performed at The Concert for Valor in the same year.
