Snoop Dogg reveals title & release date for his new song with Eminem

In a recent interview, Snoop Dogg details Super Bowl 2022 performance, squashing beef with Eminem, upcoming song with Slim Shady, Dr. Dre’s new music and more!

On squashing beef with Eminem.

“We love each other. If you got siblings you know that you have misunderstandings and disagreements. That s**t happens. But the beauty of it all is that If I’m wrong I know how to call Marshall and apologize. I was wrong bro, do you forgive me? No problem, let’s roll on. I feel like this was necessary because I was the reason why it became what it was and I felt like I could be a reason to stop it. For the sake of family and for the sake of my love for Eminem and Dr. Dre and what we have built, that was the only thing to do. I probably called him four-five months ago. We really love each other. We don’t want public to spin on something that’s not even that serious. We truly respect each other. We brothers man.”

On upcoming song with Eminem.

“There is Snoop Dogg and Eminem song on my Westmore album. It is called “From Detroit to the LBC”, that’s Mount Westmore album that is coming out in January and Eminem and Snoop single is featured on there. And that motherf**ker slapped. That s**t is HUH! It was very challenging for me. Eminem really f**king shot at me. He shot his shot and as a rapper that’s what you want when you get a feature, to have to work you f**king a** off. He is going that hard because he knows I’m going to match him on the same level and that’s what it is when you making records with people that you love. It’s competitive but for the right reason. To bring the best out of each other.

On Dr. Dre’s upcoming album.

“You know Dr. Dre…I tell you the album is coming out and three years later we will be talking about this s**t like it is coming out. I don’t know but I do know he’s in the studio, making great f**king music. I think some of his music is connected to GTA video game that’s coming out. That will be the way that his music will be released though the GTA and I’m part of it.”

Dre and Snoop will perform with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige in the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13th of 2022 : “I just think it is going to be family. Snoop Dogg details his upcoming song with Eminem

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Snoop Dogg details how he squashed beef with Eminem and what to expect from their upcoming collaboration:

About squashing beef with Eminem

“I know how to call Marshall and say, ‘Man, I apologize. I was wrong, bro. Do you forgive me?’ You got to understand we really love each other. So we do not want the public to put a spin on something that is not even that serious. And we truly respect each other. So we wanted to get an understanding behind closed doors. We are brothers, man. You know, my real brother hurt my feelings a lot of times. I wanted to join a gang and he would not let me! You learn to understand and respect each other as brothers, as family members, and you respect each other’s opinions. And as long there was no disrespect directly or ill will, then it can all be forgiven and it can all be moving on.”

About upcoming song with Eminem

“We recorded a song about two months ago and that motherf**ker slap. It was very challenging for me, I will say that. Eminem really f**king shot at me, he shot his shot. And as a rapper, that is what you want when you get a feature, to have to f**king work your a** off. You want somebody to come to the playing field, putting up points, to where you got to rethink your s**t and say, ‘Well, damn, this is what he thinks of me. That is why he is going so hard, because he knows that I am going to match him on the same level.’ And that is what it is when you make records with people that you love and family. It is competitive, but it is competitive for the right reasons to bring the best out of each other.”

About Super Bowl Halftime Show 2022 with Eminem

As you might remember, Snoop famously said: “Eminem f**ked Jay Z awfully on ‘Renegade.’ Completely. Like DAMN! I don’t want Eminem on my album. I’m cool.” Snoop probably enjoyed revisiting Eminem’s one of the greatest verses of all time.
