Horseshoe Gang show love to Eminem on a new track “Who’s The Best Rapper”

Horseshoe Gang is back with a new song and video, titled “Who’s The Best Rapper.” In the song, Kxng Crooked’s brothers show love and respect to legendary hip-hop artists like Eminem, Ice Cube, Jay Z, Rakim and others.

Demetrius kicks his verse with the following lines:

When ya’ll say “best rapper ever” y’all forget about Ice Cube
In “Ni**as With Attitude” he was that dude
When it came to Eazy-E, Cube wrote all his rhymes
And ‘No Vaseline” is the best diss record of all time
And when it come to white rappers, you gotta start with Em

[Julius]
You mean Mac Miller, Macklemore, MGK

[Demtrius]
Naw never mind is skin color
He keep it controversial every time
And he rhymed words together better than every rapper who ever rhymed

[Dice]
But when it come to Jay Z he got the most clever lines
And he made a half a billion talking about his heavy grind
Like like “You ain’t start out from the trunk to reach the roof
Just to put the roof in your trunk” Ni**a please

[Demetrius]
Yeah that was dope as f**k but just let me make one point
Eminem said he’s “stopping a limo, hopped in the window”
And he’s “Shopping his demo at gunpoint”
Oh yea and he said he’s “Zoning off of one joint”
And Cube said he’s “got a murder rap that’ll keep ya’ll dancing
With a crime record like Charles Manson”

Ed Sheeran names his favorite Eminem lyrics & reveals a gift he sent to Eminem

In a new interview with Michael Bennett, on the radio show called Most Requested Live, on Sunday, Ed Sheeran he revealed his favorite Eminem lyrics and the special gift the UK singer sent to Slim Shady:

“My favorite Eminem lyrics? In ‘Criminal’ when he raps: ‘Windows tinted on my ride when I drive in it (Go, go, go!) / So when I rob a bank, run out and just dive in it / So I’ll be disguised in it and if anybody identifies / The guy in it, I hide for five minutes / Come back, shoot the eyewitness / Fire at the private eye hired to pry in my business
Die b**ches, bastards, brats, pets / This puppy’s lucky I didn’t blast his a*s yet.’ just that, the flow of that is just f**king amazing.”

“We have done like three tunes together. He is one of the reasons I started writing music. When I did the collaborations project, I’ve sent everyone really really nice bottle of wine. He’s one hundred percent sober so I didn’t send him wine but I know he’s a big gamer so I sent him Nintendo 64 with Golden Eye on it.”

Ed Sheeran reveals a good habit he learned from Eminem

Ed Sheeran has released his comeback single ‘Bad Habits.’ To celebrate this awesome news, Ed Sheeran spoke to Fergal D’Arcy on TodayFM, where the superstar singer revealed the work ethic he learned from Eminem:

“In music, especially in American music, it is normal thing to work from 6pm to 6 am. This is not a normal schedule at all. Normal schedule is from 9am to 5pm. I actually learned it from Eminem. He does it. Eminem is like so strict when he works. I think he gets in at 10am and he leaves at 5pm, no matter what. And lunch is when lunch is.” – said Ed Sheeran.

“And it works. If you have family, you family can’t rely on someone who is fluid.” he adds.

You can watch the new interview below:

Akon also talked about Eminem’s work ethic couple of times during the interviews. One of the cases was HOT 97 inter view from 2019:

“Smack That song has interesting story behind. Working with him made me look at the business differently cause he was the first artist that I’ve worked with that actually treated the business like a real job.”

“He comes in at 9 A.M every day to the studio, takes his lunch break at 1 A.M, and is out of there by 5 PM. It’s like a schedule. I did not expect that from him. The first day I come, I come around 6 A.M.. Like we going to do an evening session. I get to the studio, they said ‘Em just left!’ He said ‘I am out of here!’ I said ‘I just got to the studio, you coming back here?’ He said, ‘yeah, I’ll be back there at 9 AM.”

“I was like, you joking right? but he was like I’ll see you at 9A.M. so I get there on 9 and he shows up exactly on time. Plays some beats, we vibing, Em’s like, ‘yo I am about to go out for lunch.’ I said I will meet you after…He goes takes his lunch, after an hour comes back. I play him the record, play him the chorus. He is like oh, this is it!”

“He goes into his verse. 5 PM comes. He’s halfway in. He’s like ‘alright bro, I’ll see you tomorrow. At this point, I’m like ‘Yo, this is crazy right! but then Em said ‘I just like to be here. I treat it like real job. I don’t make it no more than what it’s supposed to be. I don’t let it stress me out, stay longer than I have to. I got a family, I got a daughter. I want to make time.”

“I was like ‘damn, he is right. Some days I am in the studio three, four days. I do not come out. Don’t see my kids, don’t call my wife, none of that. I am sitting here like, [Em’s way] makes a lot of sense. Ain’t nothing gon’ change between today and tomorrow.”

“I met him next day and told him ‘you know what bro, you just gave me whole new outlook on how to treat the business. I don’t force it like I used to.”
