Eminem’s song features in NASA’s playlist on the ride to Falcon Crew 1 mission

SpaceX carried 4 astronauts to orbit on Sunday night (November 15, 2020) overcoming iffy weather and brief delays with the inner seal of a spacecraft hatch. After a trip of some 27.6 hours in orbit, the astronauts will dock with the International Space Station and begin a 6-month-stay.

At 7:19 p.m. ET, the 9 engines of the private company’s Falcon 9 rocket roared to life and brightened the night cold sky as the rocket arced over the Atlantic Ocean.

Before the launch, NASA shared the playlist of the songs the staff listened during the ride to the rocket launch pad and it includes Eminem’s 2002 single “Till I Collapse,” the song that is recognized as the biggest motivational song by Spotify users.

The playlist was announced during the live video via NASA news. You can watch it below:

Joyner Lucas reveals Eminem was originally supposed to be on “ISIS” instead of Logic

About a year ago, Joyner Lucas dropped “Isis,” the third single from his 2019 album ADHD. The song is named after the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria; one of the most notorious terrorist factions of the 21st century.

On the track, Logic and Joyner Lucas discuss everything from ADHD to haters, women and success. Interestingly, this song marks the end of the feud between the two emcees, which started back in 2017.

“Eminem was originally supposed to be on ISIS song” – Joyner Lucas (November 16, 2020)

Few hours ago, Joyner Lucas revealed that Eminem was originally supposed to be on the song, but could not find the time because by that time, the Rap God was working on the Music To Be Murdered By album.

YouTuber Nitin Randhawa got you covered though. There is a very popular remix of the song on YouTube where you can have a taste of how Eminem could have sounded on a track.  You can check it out below:

WS Gunn leaves Shady Records, says Griselda biopic would be better than 8 Mile & Get Rich Or Die Tryin’

During a recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast, Westside Gunn revealed that he’s off Eminem’s Shady Records. The founder of the almighty Griselda Records told to Joe Budden, Rory and Mal:

“Um, I am off Shady. I am off Shady. I am actually a free agent. It feels great. Who Made The Sunshine album was it. I already spoke to Paul Rosenberg. Everything is good. Like, everything is signed, sealed and delivered I have my paperwork, like I’m off Shady.

“I am one of those type of dudes I am not no public talking ni**a. That is just how I move. It is like saying me and Benny or me and Conway or Conway and Benny or whoever, we might have a disagreement, but the world will never know. We still gonna be brothers and cousins. It is the same way even with business, because at the end of the day, this a big world. Even if somebody else is a sucka, I am never gonna play that sucka role.”

“I am off Shady. I am actually a free agent. It feels great.” – Westside Gunn, Nov. 14, 2020

Westside Gunn also talked about the possibility of Griselda biopic, which as he says “will be better than 50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin and Eminem’s 8 Mile”

“No disrespect to nobody but Griselda’s story is better than others. Our story is way bigger than Marshall and Fifty and they have got movies. Conway got shot into head twice. We lost Machine Gunn. Ni**as were in prison. Ni**as are from eastside Buffalo. However you wanna play it our story is better.”

“Our story is better than 8 Mile and Get Rich Or Die Tryin'” – Westside Gunn, Nov. 14, 2020

50 Cent says Grammy recognized him only because of Eminem

As you might know 50 Cent served as an executive producer for Pop Smoke’s posthumous album “Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon” and the King of the New York predicts that the project will be snubbed at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

“If the album is recognized, it will only get recognized because Pop Smoke is gone. The content is similar to what I would do. They did not recognize mine. They gave me Grammys when I was with Em, when I am on records with Eminem.”

50 Cent has been nominated for 14 times at the Grammys, but he only won in 2010 for Eminem’s “Crack a Bottle” which also features Dr. Dre. Fifty has received nominations for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best New Artist throughout his career but has won none.

“They are afraid to give Pop Smoke Grammys because they think it is teaching the audience to want to be like Pop. And to be like him is to be a part of gang culture. Who you see get Grammys that is making Drill music? You mean to tell me ain’t none of those songs worthy of it? Those platforms are not for them to acknowledge. It is for the culture, the people to embrace those tones and to really appreciate the artist for doing that.” 50 Cent added.

As far as Eminem, the Rap God has been nominated for 44 times and has won 15 times.

Busta Rhymes remembers losing out Grammy to Eminem: “He is one incredible motherf***er!”

In Does Rock ‘N’ Roll Kill Braincells?!, NME Magazine quizes artists on their own career to see how much they can remember. This week their guest is hip-hop’s juggernaut Busta Rhymes.

Interviewer: You were nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 2000 Grammys for ‘Gimme Some More’. Who beat you?

Busta Rhymes: Damn man! I can not remember, you might have to help me with that one!

Interviewer: You lost out to your friend Eminem’s ‘My Name Is’.

Busta Rhymes: Eminem is one of my favorite MCs ever. We have done multiple records together and even on his latest album, ‘Music to Be Murdered By’, the track ‘Yah Yah’ used my vocals from ‘Woo Hah!! Got You All In Check’. He is one incredible motherf**ker! Wyclef Jean was the first person to play ‘My Name Is’ to me, before it was even out. We were on tour together and he had a six-song EP from Eminem. When we played ‘My Name Is’, I could not believe it. I went so crazy on his bus that I shattered his windshield with my head! I could not believe the s**t that Eminem was saying and Dr. Dre’s production was unbelievable – at the time, nothing existed like it in the whole game.
