Vote Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & Eminem for Billboard’s “Best Super Bowl Show Ever”

We are few weeks away from Rihanna to take over the sage at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show on February 12, 2023. But before the pop superstar makes her triumphant return to the music stage, Billboard looks back on the iconic halftime spectacles that have come before her.

The 2023 game marks 30 years since Michael Jackson‘s Super Bowl performance of 1993, which marked the beginning of a new kind of halftime show.

Last year, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg headlined an epic hip-hop show with help from Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak that electrified the hometown crowd at Los Angeles SoFi Stadium with hits like “The Next Episode,” ‘Still D.R.E.,” “California Love,” “Lose Yourself,” “In Da Club” and “No More Drama” among few others.

Now Billboard wants to reveal the best ever halftime show and you can VOTE HERE.

50 Cent & Snoop Dogg react to “toddler rappers”

The Baby Superstar by a full stack designer Gil Finkelstein is getting more and more popular every day and 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg are the proof of it.

The man who transfers celebrities into toddlers using artificial technology (probably) received a shout out from hip-hop superstars after de-aging some of the most popular rappers in the game, including Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Lil Wayne, Drake, Cardi B, Will Smith and Jay-Z.

Snoop shared the collage of toddlers on his social media and in the caption the legendary rapper expressed the astonishment and gave the shout out to the creator.

50 Cent also went on social media to share the artist’s imaginary to his millions of followers. In the caption he wrote: “These apps are crazy man, who is sitting there making this s–t.” Check it out below and hope you enjoy it too.

Ice Cube says Eminem & 50 Cent are the reasons N.W.A album with Snoop Dogg didn’t come out

To promote their new Mount Westmore album, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $hort has recently visited Bootleg Kev for an exclusive interview where the crew talked about record contracts, financial investing, new album and much more.

At one point of the interview, the legendary hip-hop figures talked about Dr. Dre.

E-40: I think Dr. Dre is the greatest producer in hip-hop, of all time. He’s a perfectionist. He’s on our Mount Westmore album. I think we are going to get songs out of Dre. We love Dre.

Bootleg Kev: Yo, how close you all were to do a f—ing new N.W.A. with Snoop? Where are those songs at?

Ice Cube: Not close at all. We were about to get into it and then he met Eminem and then he met 50 Cent. [Smiles] He met those two dudes and that just took his attention. We will now get something out of Dre. He has been sending me a lot of music.

E-40: Dre is a genius. Hopefully we get something out of him.

Too $hort: He was an early on Mount Westmore supporter. He got caught wind of the project early through Snoop. He pulled up with Snoop in studio. He put a snapper approve. He jumped on a song! We got a song with him but it didn’t make in this album. That will be on the second album.

In the same interview, E-40 addressed his “Busta Rhymes will eat Eminem in Verzuz battle” comments he made earlier this year and him and Ice Cube expressed his desire to work with Slim Shady.

Snoop Dogg calls Eminem “The Larry Bird Of Hip Hop”

According to west coast legend Snoop Dogg, the fellow Detroit icon Eminem is hip hop’s Larry Bird. Snoop has recently made an appearance on Know Mercy podcast with Stephen A. Smith and compared the legendary basketball player and Slim Shady during their long conversation.

Larry Bird is a legend in the NBA as he is on majority of people’s list of Top 10 players in history of the game. Although not the most athletic, Larry was known for his killer instinct, elite shooting, and epic trash-talk.

“He’s like Larry Bird cuz. Remember when ni***s used to act like ‘that’s white boy s**t’ then all of a sudden that motherf***er put 40 on your a**? Hey man, you know what, Larry Bird is a bad motherf***er man.” said Snoop.

Eminem and Larry Bird both have become legends even though people doubted them, and in that sense, Snoop’s comparison is quite valid. Em and Bird will both be remembered among the greatest ever when everything is said and done, and their talent and skill are what has helped them achieve that. There aren’t many basketball fans who would scant Larry Legend, and similarly, no hip hop fans would talk down too often on the Real Slim Shady.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg have recently collaborated on “From The D 2 The LBC,” a single from Eminem’s second greatest hits compilation album, “Curtain Call 2.” The two are also rumored to be on a track together again on Snoop and Dre’s upcoming album, called “Missionary,” which is set to be completed in November.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Long Beach legend talks about life as a gangbanger, the important advice he received behind bars, and the meeting with iconic producer Dr. Dre that changed his life.

Snoop Dogg announces new album produced by Dr. Dre

During the recent appearance on Stephen A. Smith’s Know Mercy podcast, Snoop Dogg revealed he’s preparing new album, produced by Dr. Dre. The project is titled Missionary and is due to be finished in November, although release date is still unclear.

Next month will mark 29 years since Snoop and Dre joined forces on the former’s first album Doggystyle, which extended the winning partnership they formed on 1992’s The Chronic — to record-breaking sales.

“I’ma tell you this, you’re the first one to hear this: me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months. And it’ll be done in November. It’s produced by Dr. Dre, it’s our 30th anniversary to Doggystyle. And the name of the album is Missionary.” said the West Coast legend.

Back in August, the legendary duo were spotted in the studio with Eminem, who posted a photo of their session on his social media accounts with the caption: “just a few bros..hangin out.”

Weeks later, more photos of Snoop and Dre’s studio reunion surfaced, showing the longtime collaborators sharing a laugh while seemingly getting down to serious business. Diddy also swung by the session and revealed Dre coached him through a vocal take, calling it a “dream come true.”

“Dr. Dre and I are cooking up a little something. I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again. It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doin’ something, we’re workin’ on something.” told Snoop Dogg to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his Day Shift movie back in August.

Elsewhere in the interview, Snoop talks about growing up in Long Beach, life as a gangbanger, the important advice he received behind bars, and the meeting with legendary producer Dr. Dre that changed his life. He also details his business acumen, and advice for the next generation of artists entering the game. You can listen to the new interview of Snoop below:

Eminem opens up about Juice WRLD collaboration, beef with Snoop Dogg, Rap Critics & more

Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg sat down with Slim Shady for the part two of “Curtain Call 2” interview on Paul Pod podcast where the two talked about how Dr. Dre’s brain Aneurysm played a big role in reconciliation with Snoop Dogg, collaborating with late rapper Juice WRLD, how it frustrates him what people think about his rhymes and much more.

About Snoop Dogg beef

Me and Snoop had our little issue, when that thing happened with Dre, the brain aneurysm, we were like ‘bro this is stupid as hell to be feuding right now.’ I don’t remember if I called him or he called me but we talked it out and I think there was a miscommunication in regards to him being on my album Marshall Mathers LP2 on a track “B**ch Please II” and he wanted to do something with me again and he gave you [Paul Rosenberg] the idea and he said something like ‘let’s hear what the song sounds first and he took it the way that ‘I don’t f**k with him.’ And I explained to him like ‘bro Doggystyle changed my life.’

About Juice WRLD

We had been talking about Juice WRLD for a while. And we just wanted to do something with him. We liked his freestyles over my instrumentals. It was crazy. I had a different hook on “Godzilla” and never was really crazy about it. I had verses and that was the reason we asked him for the hook. He sent us two things that were great and the first one was that Monster hook. I was like ‘holy s**t.’

About Rap Critics

It’s frustrating when you do something technically and people who think they know what hip-hop is about start giving opinions on it. They don’t hear what the f**k you doing. If I rhyme entire f**king sentence, every syllable hit, they would literally think that at the end of it I was rhyming ‘back’ and ‘cat’ because they skipped over 30 other syllables. They don’t understand that there is art to that. Kool G Rap has done it so well, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, there is an art to that. We [me and critics] are not listening with same ears.

Dr. Dre hits the studio with Diddy to collaborate on upcoming Dre & Snoop Dogg album

Diddy finally hits the studio with Dr. Dre.

The veteran Bad Boy Entertainment founder shared an Instagram post consisting of five photos of the dynamic duo in the lab, looking hard at work.

In the caption, Diddy wrote: “Yesterday, one of my biggest dreams finally came true. I remember the first time I heard Dr. Dre’s production. It gave me clear direction on the level of producer that I wanted to be. Last night, I got the chance to work with this man and to see his genius as he coached me through vocals.

“He reminded me of myself, but with a different style and way more focused. I gotta step my focus up! lol But it was a great experience and I thank God for it. I hope one day y’all get to have the same experience with someone that you always looked up to as a hero.”

In an email sent to HipHopDX magazine, Puff’s team explained, “The two music moguls came together to collaborate for Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated upcoming album with Snoop Dogg, who was also in attendance. Producing with Dr. Dre has been a long-time dream for Mr. Sean Combs and the night was made even more special as he coached him through vocals.”

As it is already confirmed, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg new album is around the corner!

Eminem links up with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & DJ Yella of N.W.A. in the studio

Eminem and DJ Yella of legendary N.W.A. hip-hop group have recently linked up what it looks like to be a small house party or gathering.

DJ Yella began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru along with Dr. Dre. He later joined the pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A (originally composed of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, Arabian Prince and Eazy-E) and became the least vocal but longest-lasting member of the group. Back in 2016, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A.

In his latest post on Instagram, Yella sahred a picture with Eminem with the caption: “Today: 2022”, later, the picture of Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre being in the studio has surfaced online. Slim Shady is wearing the same outfit as in a picture with Yella, meaning the photos were taken on the same day: TODAY.

It was reported that Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are working on a new album and maybe Eminem is jumping on one of the tracks and today Dre held the studio session.
