Eminem treats fans with Mom’s Spaghetti through Make-A-Wish Foundation

Eminem has recently served fans through Make-A-Wish Foundation with Mom’s Spaghetti in Downtime Detroit.

The pictures was surfaced online couple of hours ago. We are yet to get detailed information about the event.

Like the past few years, Eminem once again collaborated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to fulfill fans’ dreams. Couple of years ago, Slim Shady met Alex Beulke’s, whos suffering from a serious disease – Ewing’s sarcoma.

There is a rich history of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Chris Greicius, a boy with leukemia who aspired to be a police officer, was the inspiration for Make-A-Wish. In 1980, a community banded together to accomplish his wish. His desire had such an influence on his town that it became the idea for what is now Make-A-Wish. Make-A-current Wish’s objective is to develop the resources necessary to grant the wishes of every eligible child.

Wishes have the power to affect the course of a child’s disease. A wish can assist children in seeing beyond their limitations, families in overcoming anxiety, and entire communities in experiencing joy. Wishes, above all, can improve a child’s quality of life. Experiment with the power of imagination and the strength it provides. Life-changing wishes are fulfilled at Make-A-Wish.

Meghann Fahy says she’s obsessed with Eminem

Meghann Fahy, one of the stars of the second season of HBO’s “White Lotus,” has recently visited Eminem’s of Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant, a nine-day-only “pop-up experience” in SoHo, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the movie “8 Mile,” starring Eminem as the rapper who calls himself B-Rabbit.

Fahy considers herself to be an Eminem connoisseur and little more obsessed with him. Her go-to karaoke song is iconic Dido-assisted song “Stan,” from The Marshall Mathers LP album, a menacing epic about an abusive loner who is obsessed with a famous rapper. “It’s not his fastest song. But I do think, from a storytelling perspective, it is one of his best.” – She explained that Eminem karaoke was less obnoxious than the alternative.

The shop bumped a bass-heavy hip-hop track. Fahy, who is thirty-two, with a spray of cheek freckles and swishy strawberry-blond hair, shimmied along. Ciara Benko, the pop-up’s publicist, asked Fahy about the first time she saw “8 Mile.” on which, she replied: “Oh, it was in 2002, and I had, like, a s*xual awakening. My friend and I had to watch it in a closet, because we were not supposed to be watching it.”

Near the exit of the shop, Fahy made a beeline for the gift shop. “I looove merch” she said as she picked up a vinyl copy of the movie’s soundtrack. “Does it have the rap battles on it?” she asked. She caressed a T-shirt promoting a showdown between B-Rabbit and his nemesis, Papa Doc. She bought two, one for herself and one for Leo Woodall, a British actor she befriended while in Sicily filming “The White Lotus.” She and Woodall bonded as fellow Slim Shady stans. “He can do all the freestyles from the film!”

Eminem brings Mom’s Spaghetti to New York

Eminem brings his Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant concept to New York as part of 20th anniversary commemoration of his iconic battle-rap movie, 8 Mile.

The Shopify retail location in New York’s SoHo district will host the Detroit-based concept on November 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and November 12, 13, 19 and 20 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees will be greeted by recreations of the 8 Mile set, limited edition and exclusive merchandise and the trademark cardboard carton of spaghetti, with or without the meatballs. Apparel honoring 8 Mile and several vinyl records will be available.

After opening as a pop-up in 2017, Mom’s Spaghetti got a permanent location in downtown Detroit in September 2021. Em’s manager Paul Rosenberg stated in a statement, “We’ve had a lot of fun putting this project together with the folks at Union Joints, and the response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive. The previous pop-ups were really a test for us to determine whether there was enthusiasm for a regularly-occurring Mom’s Spaghetti spot that would be open all year long. We are really pleased to announce the arrival of the walk-up restaurant and adjacent upstairs store, called The Trailer, where fans can experience a uniquely-curated environment and obtain merch and other items from Eminem and his new pasta operation.”

If you are not able to check the pop-up in New York, you can take a look inside in the video below:

Tech N9ne visits Eminem’s “Trailer” & “Mom’s Spaghetti” while being in Detroit

On September 27, 2021 a strange 30-second video clip appeared on Eminem’s YouTube channel: not a music video teaser, or the first few verses of a new rap single, but a quick-moving advertisement. It appeared, Marshall Mathers, the man who brought white working-class angst to the top of the charts, was opening a restaurant.

Two days later, the legendary rapper surprised fans at the grand opening in downtown Detroit, where he served heaping ladlefuls of pasta to a queue of customers that snaked around the block.

Mom’s Spaghetti is named for the famed first verse of “Lose Yourself,” a single written for the movie “8 Mile” that sold more than 10 million copies in the United States and earned Eminem diamond certification, Oscar and Grammy awards.

Inside the restaurant there is Stans’ space called “Trailer” — a merchandise shop above the dining area —  where you can see Eminem-themed pint glasses, T-shirts, sneakers, the Robin costume from the music video for “Without Me,” and much more.

It appears, Tech N9ne visited Detroit couple of days ago and he didn’t miss a chance to visit Eminem’s place in the city. He posted two videos on his Instagram, one which gives the look of the Trailer and the other where he tastes “Mom’s Spaghetti.” In the caption, Tech wrote: “DOPE AF!” while tagging Eminem.

LISTEN: Eminem – “Mom’s Spaghetti” interview on Shade 45

Eminem has opened “Mom’s Spaghetti” restaurant in downtown Detroit and few lucky fans got a special taste of it yesterday — hand-served by Eminem himself.

Slim Shady spent several minutes manning the alley window of the new eatery on Woodward Avenue, treating the first 10-12 fans in a blocks-long line to takeout boxes of spaghetti and selfie snaps as he inaugurated the new restaurant inspired by lyrics from “Lose Yourself.”

After Eminem left, he went straight to Shade 45 for Rude Jude’s All Out Show where the Rap God gave short and funny interview about the restaurant.

“Don’t even bite your spaghetti until you put it in bread. Otherwise your will ruin all the f**king thing. That’s stupid. Don’t be stupid. If I f**king catch out doing it without bread, there’s gonna be hell of pay. I’m not trying to offend anyone but if you are an f**king idiot don’t eat Mom’s Spaghetti.” jokes Eminem
