WATCH: Westside Boogie’s Tiny Desk concert

After dropping the deluxe edition of “More Black Superheroes” album and releasing music video for Mamii-assisted “NONCHALANT” single, Westside Boogie is back for Tiny Desk concert.

.”I gotta be the first person to bring kids to NPR, right? No, I’m not. I gotta be the first one with kids in costumes, though.” Boogie is correct. American Football brought a children’s choir to the Desk in 2019, so Westside added flair to that idea for the climactic end to his show.

For his Tiny Desk, he played songs from “More Black Superhero” album, including “NONCHALANT,” featuring former Tiny Desk Contest contestant Mamii and couple of songs from from his Shady Records debut album, “Everythings For Sale.” After the performance, in a full circle moment, Boogie signed a poster from our 2015 SXSW showcase, which he was part of, telling us it was his first paid show.

The setlist of the concert included the following songs:

★ “N*** Needs”

★ “Lolsmh”

★ “STUCK”

★ “NONCHALANT”

★ “Silent Ride”

Eminem – Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame performance (Full HD)

Eminem was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame by Dr. Dre on November 5, 2022 and the ceremony aired on HBO on November 19, 2022. Like we saw last year with LL Cool J, Eminem brought the heat on stage at Microsoft Theater.

Steven Tyler joined him to perform the Aerosmith-sampling “Sing For The Music” and Ed Sheeran subbed in for Dido on “Stan.”

Em’s daughter, Hailie, a frequent presence in his early discography, accompanied him to the ceremony, and the rapper followed his set with a uniformly humble speech in which he shared his gratitude for being alive to experience this moment.

“I’ll keep this as painless as possible, I’m f—ing stuttering and s—,” I’m probably not supposed to actually be here tonight because of a couple of reasons. One, I know that I’m a rapper, and this is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There’s only a few of us who have been inducted already. Secondly, I almost died from an overdose in 2007, which kind of sucked.” said Eminem.

The performance itself was spectacular as we expected. P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Olivia Rodrigo and LL Cool J were amongst others who enjoyed the show most. You can watch it below (via u/verse1230)

Westside Boogie delivers his first ever Funk Flex freestyle & performs “Can’t Even Lie” live

For the first time ever, Shady Records’ Westside Boogie and Funkmaster Flex connected to create another chapter of the legendary DJ’s freestyle series. Spitting over P Killer Trackz’s “How’s It Goin’ Down” production, the Compton rapper showcased the introspective lyricism that has made him a fan favorite from coast to coast.

“Wearing all my feelings/Ni–as say I’m overdressed/At least I won’t explode over feelings I suppressed,” /  “Foot up on they necks/What’s the odor? Oh, that’s death/The fact that I even made it through the funk should be a flex/Ni–as get possessed as soon as the b—hes come around/Your character don’t show until you ain’t in front of the crowd.” he raps.

Westside Boogie is wrapping up one of his strongest years yet. Back inn June, he delivered his sophomore LP, More Black Superheroes, under Eminem’s record label, Shady Records. Shortly thereafter, he headed out on a nationwide tour with another Shady signee, GRIP. He also freestyled alongside Iman Shumpert at Shade 45 and collaborated with the likes of Deante Hitchcock and Big K.R.I.T.

Boogie has also recently performed “Can’t Even Lie,” featuring Soulja Boy and produced by Dart and Keyel from More Black Superheroes album live on stage. You can watch it below:

Eminem to perform at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony

The 2022 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony will take place on November 5, 2022 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States.

Two weeks later, a summarized version of the event will be available to stream on HBO Max network.

Honorees this year include Eminem, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Eurythmics, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton and Carly Simon. Parton was on the fence about whether she felt deserving of the honor earlier this year, believing she was not rocking enough for the Rock Hall. But the Rock Hall and Parton’s many fans believe there isn’t an award on the face of the planet she shouldn’t at least be in the conversation for.

Eminem is the only hip-hop artist to be inducted this year. He’s also the only artist that began releasing music in the nineties, and the only act to be inducted in their first year of eligibility.

Although its the first year of eligibility, Slim Shady is very familiar to Rock Hall stage as he inducted Run-D.M.C. back in 2009 and performed “Going Back To Cali” and “Rock The Bells” with LL Cool J last year.

Today, Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame officially confirmed that Eminem will be one of the performers at the ceremony. Although it is unknown which song(s) Eminem will perform or if there is a special guest, it is definitely going to be an epic night.

Westside Boogie performs “KILLA MODE” live on stage

Yesterday, Westside Boogie performed “KILLA MODE,” featuring Storm Ford from his More Black Superheroes album, live on VEVO stage.

Following the release of his sophomore Shady Records album, the Compton emcee has recently discussed how he learned to accept his own growth with Rolling Stone magazine.

“I’m so vulnerable in my music that it makes it hard to be vulnerable as a person. Even when people get around me, if they start showing too much emotion, I shut down. My mama tells me she loves me? I shut down. Someone get too touchy-feely? I shut down. That’s an anxiety I’m still working through.” said Boogie

“I think we’re way more self-aware when it comes to our emotions than our OGs was. I know I am — I got way more emotional intelligence than my big homies. I think it’s because we talk about it now.” he added.

Ireland fans sing popular football chant during 50 Cent’s concert in Dublin

50 Cent’s United Kingdom tour continues and the crowd’s admission has been immensely impressive so far!

Last week, Fifty was performing at the OVO Arena in Wembley last Friday, 10 June, 2022 when he made the crowd slightly emotional after he said he was not sure if the United Kingdom would remember him.

Fiddy told to the thousands in the crowd: “You all did not forget. I thought you forgot about me.” He then made a reference to Dr. Dre who produced 50 Cent’s major-label debut album, an all-time classic, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, back in 2003.

You know like they Forgot About Dre,” 50 added before spitting some Eminem bars from the song: “Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips, just a bunch of gibberish and motherf***ers act like they forgot about Dre.”

Couple of days ago, during his performance in Dublin, Ireland, Fifty made fans sing the popular football anthem “Ole Ole Ole” which was used for a song titled “Put ‘Em Under Pressure.” It was the official song to the Republic of Ireland national football team’s 1990 FIFA World Cup campaign in Italy.

50 Cent raps Eminem’s “Forget About Dre” hook before performing “Ayo Technology” in London

50 Cent has started the United Kingdom tour this week and the crowd’s admission has been impressive so far!

Fifty was performing at the OVO Arena in Wembley last Friday, 10 June, 2022 when he made the crowd slightly emotional after he said he was not sure if the United Kingdom would remember him.

Fiddy told to the thousands in the crowd: “You all did not forget. I thought you forgot about me.” He then made a reference to Dr. Dre who produced 50 Cent’s major-label debut album, an all-time classic, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, back in 2003.

“Forgot About Dre” is a song from 1999 by Dr. Dre and Eminem and the theme, as you might have guessed, was a message to the ‘haters’ who thought the producer had ‘fallen off’.

After spitting few lines of Eminem’s hook, 50 kicked off one of his hit songs “Ayo Technology,” which features Justin Timberlake.

GRIP let a fan rap Eminem’s “Walkthrough!” verse at his NY show & he absolutely killed it!

Yesterday, Shady Records’ GRIP did a show at Baby’s All Right venue in Brooklyn, New York as a part of his “I Died For This!?” tour.

GRIP performed songs from his Shady Records debut album with the same title, “I Died For This!?,” as well as a few tracks from his previous work.

Eminem is featured on the track “Walkthrough,” which is widely considered as the best verse from Eminem in 2021.

While performing the song, GRIP let a fan from the crowd rap Eminem’s part and he absolutely murdered the entire verse.
