The Game says he’s already preparing to battle 50 Cent on Verzuz

We might witness the greatest Verzuz battle so far as The Game is down to battle 50 Cent.

In a new interview on Power 106’s “L.A. Leakers,” The Game said he was inspired after watching Gucci Mane and Jeezy squash their beef during their Verzuz battle about a month ago.

“That moment let me know that me and 50 is a possibility. That იs what gave us hope. And I აm pretty sure 50 watched that like, ‘Yeah, it is possible.’”

“Me and 50 been in the room twice since we both shot at each other. Both times we had interactions, we tried to figure out where it went wrong but we were in a club twice and that was not a conversation that you could have in depth in that circumstance.”

“Verzuz is something that I’m entertaining, but just so you know, as soon as I saw 50’s interview, I went to my notes and I wrote down 25 records that I feel that I can run up. I made a list of 25 that I can handle some s**t with.”

BREAKING: 50 Cent is down for Verzuz Battle VS The Game

The Game also praised 50 Cent’s catalog: “There is enough on those first two albums for him to be able to do a Verzuz and have an amazing outcome with anybody in the game because those first two albums were so monumental. “Get Rich or Die Tryin’, you could literally play that from start to end and that could be his Verzuz.”

The Compton rapper also talked about himself: “It is only one artist alive that has more number one hip-hop albums than me and that is Drake. I made my rounds. It is an impeccable career inside of music, outside of music.”

“As far as Verzuz is concerned, that is the only person I would entertain doing a Verzuz with because it just makes the most sense and nobody else can really go with me. I am not sure that we gon’ do it, but if we do, I’m definitely down to sit in a room with him and have some Le Chemin Du Roi.”

Few weeks ago, 50 Cent said he’s down for Verzuz battle against The Game so we might see some legendary s**t for the culture. Watch the interview below:

Kxng Crooked: “Lots of people try to push Eminem out of culture, but they always fail”

HotNewHipHop launches The Twelve Days of Christmas. For the next twelve days as we lead up to Christmas, they will be dropping a new interview with a different figure in the hip-hop and pop culture. They kick it off on Day #12 with KXNG Crooked. Check out the interview below:

There really have been a lot of great verses this year. Who would you say, in this hypothetical verse of the year battle, who would you predict to be your biggest competition?

Something from Royce, something from Eminem. You know, they call us the holy trinity of lyricism, me, Royce, and Em. They put the church emoji when they talk about it. So definitely something from Royce, something from Em. I think Benny got it in this year. I think Black Thought got it in this year. That verse Black Thought did, well, any verse Black Thought did. The verse Black Thought did on Russ’ project, that’s a stellar verse. Benny too. So you got a lot of dudes out there who drop some killer verses.

Eminem is always in the talks. I don’t care, they love to hate him. And a lot of people have been trying to push my homie out of the culture. They been making sly remarks – people with platforms. And this ain’t just me speaking from a homeboy level, this me speaking from a fan and a technician myself. You can’t push Marshall out the game. He’s one of the greatest pens to ever exist in Hip-Hop, and it ain’t gon change no time soon. They always get me when I talk about Em. But Eminem is one for sure. Royce got nominated for a Grammy, so you know his pen was going crazy.

Obviously, I liked the Abraham Lincoln scheme. “I Will” has a lot of great things, but from Music To Be Murdered By? Verse of the Year level, I don’t know. In terms of Em’s what verse I would nominate…Verse 2 on “Marsh” was pretty good.

Yeah, that one’s dope.

Listen to D12’s song, referencing late Thomas Lister Jr.’s ‘Deebo’ character

Actor and wrestler Thomas Lister Jr., also known as “Tiny,” was found dead in his home Thursday after experiencing Coronavirus symptoms, his manager Cindy Cowan told CNN.

“His symptoms got really bad, really quick. He could not breathe and felt very weak. It literally went so fast,” said his manager.

Lister was best known for his role as Deebo in the “Friday” movie franchise alongside legendary rapper and actor Ice Cube. He also appeared with Hulk Hogan in the World Wrestling Entertainment movie “No Holds Barred.”

He has previously worked in the movies with 50 Cent, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Warren G, Michael Jackson and more.

In the song “S**t On You,” which is D12’s first ever single, recorded in 2000 and put on the bonus track of the ‘Devil’s Night’ LP in 2001, Kuniva references Deebo character in his lyrics:

I see hoes biting, y’all don’t wanna brawl
That’s like Deebo fighting Peabo Bryson (I’ll s**t on you!)
F**k what you hollering and yelling about
I’ll reach in your mouth and pull your f**king skeleton out!

The article is dedicated to the memory of Tommy Lister Jr. Rest in Paradise, legend.
