Couple of weeks ago, Twista visited NORE and DJ EFN on Drink Champs where the three played QuickTime of Slime.
NORE asks the guest tough questions with two choices, if the guest answers with “both” he drinks. If he comes out with one of the choices, he does not.
One of the questions was, Eminem or Busta Rhymes.
It seems, it was too hard to answer for Twista, so he drank: “Damn, I have to take a shot.”
Veteran battle rapper Hollow Da Don, who played the role of a battle rapper named “40 Mag” in Joseph Kahn’s Eminem-produced movie “Bodied,” has recently hit Instagram to share the list of “Top 5 Pens in Hip-Hop.”
Don Lennon ranked Eminem at number one, followed by Nas, Rakim, Big Pun and Canibus.
In the caption of the post, the Queens rapper wrote: “These are top five deadliest pens. Who would you be lyrically impressed by wordplay, bars, and just difficulty level. Black Thought and Notorious B.I.G. could also go in here. But give me a better top five.”
2 Chainz has recently set down with NORE and DJ EFN for 3 hours long interview on the Drink Champs.
During the conversation, the Atlanta rapper recalled the studio session with legendary producer, Dr. Dre :
“I went to Dre’s crib. I was rapping and it was little funny cause I was getting little frustrated because, I don’t know, I’m country, I’m from Atlanta. At this time I told him, ‘Look, I’m not a white boy from Detroit. I ain’t f**king have like…Because he was stopping me like ‘Nah, change it.’ I’m trying to rap but he is so perfectionist. It’s the reason he is who f**king he is so I got that.” – said 2 Chainz.
“I’m somebody that can probably do two or three songs in one night. But with Dre it would probably take months because of the process and work ethic he has. He is so perfectionist on how he does things. I think my accent and my annunciation was a problem. He was trying to tell me how to do it. And I told him ‘You know I’m from Atlanta right? I’m not gonna sound like the bro you have been working with.”

Conway The Machine has recently released his long-awaited Shady Records debut album God Don’t Make Mistakes and before that, the Buffalo rapper made an appearance on Kanye West’s Donda album.
During the conversation with Charlamagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club, Conway explained the difference between relationships with Eminem and Kanye West and Jay-Z.
“Yeah. Relationship with Eminem was more business than personal. I do not want to say the wrong thing. I am kind of careful, but it was more business, and rightfully so, that is how our relationship started. We did not really have no, I guess, relationship like that. We spoke a couple times on the phone, kicked it with him a couple of times at Coachella and stuff like that, but he a good dude.” said Conway.
“He called me, told my album was a classic, man, and he loves what I am doing. I do not got nothing bad to say about him but you know, Ye and Hov, guys like that, they more personal. That’s nothing saying bad about Em. He held me down. Gave me this opportunity on his platform. He let us know ‘I’m kicking with you all.” Conway added.
Billie Eilish planned to perform at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit as part of her “Where Do We Go?” World Tour in 2020, but she had to cancel the show due to the pandemic.
Finally, the singer returned triumphantly to Detroit for a sold-out stop on her “Happier Than Ever,” The 2022 World Tour. During that stop, Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas, received a warm welcome from Eminem.
The Detroit legend greeted the British superstar and her brother with his iconic Mom’s Spaghetti meals.
Finneas O’Connell took to Instagram to share a picture of the meal on his story with the caption: “Thank you, Eminem.”
Hip-hop finally had its moment at the Super Bowl last month when legends Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige took to the stage for an electrifying halftime show at the So-Fi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The spectacular, high-energy performance was a powerful celebration of hip hop and its evolution over the last three decades, centering on the legacy of Dr. Dre, a pioneer of West Coast rap whose outsize influence on the genre helped shape the careers of his co-headliners, especially his protegee, Eminem, and fellow hometown heroes, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar.
The music director Adam Blackstone has recently shared the Behind The Scenes video of the show. In the caption, he wrote: “COME BEHIND THE SCENES with BBE and experience “DRE DAY”. Still coming down off what was such an incredible Super Bowl Pepsi Halftime show! I wanted to share a small glimpse of what the process was for us to get to where we ended up musically! And for me, it all starts with TEAM!!!! Thank you to each and every band and production person, company, and crew member that made this possible to Pull off. ENJOY THE RIDE!”
Charlamagne Tha God has recently talked about The Game saying he’s better than Eminem on The Breakfast club.
While Charlamagne agrees that Eminem is the biggest rapper of all time, The Game can still go against Eminem.
“Personally, I do like The Game’s music more than Eminem’s but Eminem is the biggest rapper of all time so on paper it does not sound like a great match-up but when it comes to a matter of culture that’s a little bit closer than people think. When you talk about the culture, you play have played way more Game songs in the club than than Eminem.” he says.
During his recent appearance on Drink Champs with NORE and DJ EFN, The Game said he used to think Eminem was better than him but now he thinks he is not.
On a recent Instagram Livestream with producer Mike Zombie, who has been in the studio with Game, Royce 5’9″ offered his thoughts about the situation:
“I have seen it, whenever anybody mention Em’s name they make it a headline. … But I feel like, every MC should feel like that. Game is a monster. He will just have his hands full. Eminem is a hard dude to out-rap. Nine times out of 10, you will be sending him your verse or when he get your verse…he gonna aim to out-rap you. He probably ain’t get out-rapped ever, that competitive edge is always there.” – said Royce.
Mike Zombie, who recently recently produced Eminem’s “These Demons,” from Music To Be Murdered By album, added that The Game and Eminem should collab again for the culture.
“They have to do it for the culture… Eminem is my favorite rapper of all time. Can’t nobody outrap him but this needs to happen.”
