Cordae responds to Tiktoker who criticized Eminem’s “Michelle Obama” line

Few days ago, Cordae released a new album titled “From A Bird’s Eye View” and it includes a remix version of “Parables,” featuring Eminem.

In the song, Eminem raps: “I was painfully shy, now I’m proud of myself / Like Obama’s kids, I came outta my shell (Michelle)”

Em uses “My Shell” as the wordplay of “Michelle.” He is happy that he came out of his shell (Got over his tough times) which is compared with Obama’s daughters coming out of his wife (Giving birth).

Some of the TikTok users criticized Eminem for inappropriate use of words, with Joey Hip-Hop saying: “Ain’t no way Eminem actually thought this was a bar.”

Cordae responded in the comments: “It’s definitely a bar and I’m not just saying that cuz he on my album lol”

Popular tiktoker and hip-hop artist who goes by the name Tyrese Pope also commented: “It’s a bar, you trippin'”

Fat Joe, Dre and the crew reacting & vibing to Eminem’s “Lord Above” verse

Back in 2019, Fat Joe and Dre from Cool & Dre dropped a joint project Family Ties, which included Eminem and Mary J. Blige as a guest features on a track “Lord Above.”

Teased as “the most disrespectful song on the album,” the artists look upon their careers, acknowledge their rock-bottoms and regrets, and esteem the summits they conquered.

Few weeks before the release of the song, Nick Cannon was a guest on T.I.’s podcast ExpediTIously, where he talked about wanting to prove his manhood to Mariah, in part, by challenging Eminem to a physical fight.

Eminem responded to Nick on “Lord Above” with clever wordplay and punchlines: “I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note / But that other dude’s whipped, that pussy got him neutered / Tried to tell him this chick’s a nutjob ‘fore he got his jewels clipped / Almost got my caboose kicked / Fool, quit, you not gon’ do s**t / I let her chop my balls off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick (eunuch).

Richard Wershe Jr., also know as “White Boy Rick,” who became FBI informant at the age of 14 and later was sentenced 30 years in prison, says he is honored that Eminem will be portraying him in 50 Cent’s upcoming TV Series, “Black Mafia Family.”

“Of course, it’s Eminem so that’s an honor to have him portray me in a series. He was actually one of the first people that was looking at doing the movie about me so it’s pretty cool that later down the line, he gets to take on this role.”

When asked what kind of advice he would give to Eminem for the role, Rick said that he doesn’t think he needs to give the Detroit legend any tips, claiming that he’s a professional: “I don’t think I have to tell him anything at all. He is professional. Everything he does, he does very well. His music, it speaks for itself. He is an icon, he is a legend. This, for him, will be a small thing. I think he will kill it whatever he does. I’m a fan. It’s an honor to have him do it. He is a Detroit legend. I have a huge name here, so from one Detroiter to another…just kill it!” – said Wershe.

Eminem reacts to SNL spoof of “Without Me” with one emoji

Back in March 27, Saturday Night Live did the parody of Eminem’s 2002 hit song “Without Me,” not just in song, but the track’s popular video as well.

The sketch kicked off with Kate McKinnon portraying Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen, who was speaking to a group of economy students. After the professor (Kyle Mooney) asked if there were any questions for Yellen, familiar notes from Em’s tune off The Eminem Show start to play as the camera pans to Pete Davidson dressed as the rapper’s fake superhero Rap Boy from the “Without Me” video.

After stumping the professor, Chris Redd — dressed as Dr. Dre’s take on the Matrix‘s Morpheus — chimes in to offer pills and explain further. Confused by the “complete nonsense,” McKinnon’s turns to the janitor — played by musical guest Jack Harlow — for a more “eloquent” explanation of what, exactly, NFTs are.

Almost a month later, Eminem responded to the spoof with one emoji. Check out his tweet below:
