Juice WRLD, Eminem & benny blanco’s “Lace It” debuts on Billboard Hot 100

Juice WRLD, Eminem and benny blanco’s latest single “Lace It” debuts at No. 85 on the US Billboard HOT 100 charts, making it Eminem’s 96th, Juice’s 80th and benny’s 7th song to enter into the Hot 100 charts. The song currently has almost 14 million streams on Spotify and 2.7 million views on YouTube.

“Lace It” sees the reunion of Juice WRLD and Eminem over a bass-filled benny blanco production, while also serving as the lead single of Juice WRLD’s final posthumous album, The Party Never Ends. On the track, both Juice WRLD and Eminem reflect heavily on substance abuse, while Eminem, on the other hand, talks about the recent deaths of many rappers due to drug overdose.

Em and Juice have previously collaborated on a song “Godzilla” from Eminem’s 2020 album, Music To Be Murdered By. Compared to “Lace It,” “Godzilla” was a huge success. It debuted at No.1 in Finland and on both the UK Singles Chart and the Irish Singles Chart, becoming Eminem’s tenth and ninth number-one single in the UK and Ireland, respectively, as well as the first for Juice WRLD posthumously and in total in both countries. It also went to No.2 in Flanders, the Czech Republic, Hungary, New Zealand, and Slovakia. It went to No.3 in both artists’ homeland, the United States, and went top ten in 20 regions. Outside Europe, it saw moderate success in Lebanon and Singapore, peaking inside the top 20 in those regions.

“Godzilla” is certified 3x platinum in the United States, 2x platinum in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Greece and Poland and platinum in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal. “Godzilla” was also nominated for Best Hip-Hop and Video OF The Year at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. As of today, it has 1.3 Billion streams on Spotify and 618 Million views on YouTube.

Lil Wayne reacts to Eminem & Juice WRLD new song

DJ Whoo Kid has recently shared a clip from his interview with Lil Wayne that happened about a month ago where the two briefly talked about new Eminem and Juice WRLD song, “Lace It,” which was not yet released at that time.

Whoo Kid: Shout out to Eminem, I think he sent me a joint with Juice WRLD. RIP Juice WRLD. So we are going to get into that.

Lil Wayne: Ugh, RIP… Wait, wait! Em got a joint with Juice WRLD? That’s hard! It’s so cool. That made me feel awesome! That made me feel good. Em cool for that.

Keep in mind that the interview was recorded about a month ago, weeks before “Lace It” song dropped. You can watch it below:

Juice WRLD’s mother talks about how much Eminem fan he was

Two weeks after Juice WRLD ’s 25th birthday — and a week after the four-year anniversary of his death — his estate has shared first single of The Party Never Ends album, called “Lace It,” featuring Eminem, produced by Benny Blanco.

Both hip-hop artists warn of the dangers of drugs over their respective verses, with Eminem — who survived his own battle with addiction — listing some of his musical peers that didn’t make it: Lil Peep, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Shock G, Pimp C, Prince, and Michael Jackson.

“I was lucky, my escape was narrow and due / Now think I take it for granted / That I’m still here, synthetic heroin you tried to kill me, then you murdered Jarad, didn’t you? Addiction’s like a f–kin’ vicious cycle / Juice, we will forever miss you / To the younger generation, I ain’t lecturin’ you, but man just be careful when you…” – raps Eminem during his verse.

“Lace It” marks the second posthumous collaboration between Eminem and Juice WRLD. The first one was “Godzilla” from Eminem’s 2020 album, Music To Be Murdered By. As far as Benny Blanco, him and Juice have worked on a handful of tracks together prior to Higgins’ death, including “Roses,” “Black & White,” “Graduation,” and the posthumous “Real S–t.”

In a statement with Rolling Stone magazine, Jared’s mother Carmela Wallace said of “Lace It”: “I can recall Jarad playing Eminem’s music on repeat at home because he was a huge fan. This is a bittersweet moment for me; I am happy that Jarad had a chance to make music with someone he admired and sad that he cannot be here to take in the moment; Jarad left us way too soon.”

Juice WRLD died of a drug-related seizure back in December 2019 at the age of 21. Four months later, the rapper’s mother Carmela Wallace announced the establishment of the Live Free 999 Fund, which aims to support young people in their battles with anxiety, addiction, and depression.

Benny Blanco pens heartfelt letter to Eminem & Juice WRLD, Selena Gomez reacts

This month marks four years since emo-rap icon Juice WRLD passed away, who overdosed at age of 21. Plenty of posthumous projects has come out, and there’s still more. A few years ago, we got a collaboration between him and Eminem for “Godzilla,” from Shady’s Music To Be Murdered By album and today there’s another called “Lace It,” produced by Benny Blanco, from Juice’s upcoming album The Party Never Ends.

After the release of the song, Benny Blanco could not hide his emotions and shared it to his followers on Instagram. “People always say things like “this song means a lot to me” or “it changed my life”… when discussing a piece of music they’re listening to… “Lace It” truly gives that a new meaning to me because the day we recorded was also the last time I ever saw Juice… everyday that moment gets further away… and I’d trade this or any other song we did to have him back… I didn’t think I would be crying while writing this but here we are… Jared you are talent that will never be matched… Your laugh and spirit are infectious. I’m gonna play this song so loud. You can hear this in heaven tonight… We miss you.” he said.

The he continued: Marshall, I don’t even know where to start… I remember exactly where I was the first time I saw the video for “My Name Is” it stopped me in tracks… I knew in that very moment that I had to make music and that I was gonna dedicate my entire life to it… You paved the way for people to be different and not feel weird about being an outcast… Both me and Juice wouldn’t be who we are without you… Thank you.”

Selena Gomez, who is the most followed musician on the platform and is reportedly in relationship with the Reston, Virginia-born record producer, commented heart emoji under Benny Blanco’s post. Check out the post below:

New Song: Juice WRLD, Eminem & benny blanco – “Lace It”

This was so unexpected! Out of nowhere, Juice WRLD and Eminem are teaming up once again! This time, Benny Blanco is also featured.

Till this day, “Godzilla,” from Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By album was the only song the two had together.  Juice previously listed Em as one of his biggest influences and has frequently referenced his music, most notably on his May 2018 track, “Lean Wit Me.” In October 2018, Juice joined Tim Westwood TV, where he freestyled close to an hour over different Eminem beats.

“Godzilla” also serves as Juice WRLD’s first posthumous release since his passing on December 8, 2019—six days after his 21st birthday. Juice reportedly recorded the chorus for the track before his untimely death, although he was unable to complete his actual verse for the song in time. Later in January 2020, a picture surfaced on XXL that depicted Juice WRLD and his friends after he recorded the chorus.

“Lace It” is a collaboration with Eminem and Benny Blanco and is the first official single for Juice’s upcoming album The Party Never Ends. Juice WRLD and Eminem both reflect on substance abuse on the track.

The song’s existence was originally revealed on December 7, 2023, when the cover art to the single leaked online. Juice WRLD’s manager, Lil Bibby, responded to the cover art leak tweeting “Not real”.

On December 15, 2023, it was stated by a member of Juice WRLD’s team that a single was meant to have dropped that night but did not due to issues with benny blanco. Later that day, Lil Bibby posted the official cover art stating the song would be releasing tomorrow and proving the song’s existence despite originally calling it fake.

The song is now officially out! You can bump it below!

Cole Bennett brings Slim Shady back on Juice WRLD & Cordae’s new single “Doomsday”

Juice WRLD has just released another posthumous collaboration. This time, Chicago, Illinois-born rapper teamed up with Cordae.

As part of this collaboration, Lyrical Lemonade has released its debut single titled “Doomsday,” from their upcoming album called LL1* releasing later this year. The track features a highly anticipated and previously unreleased collaboration between Juice WRLD and Cordae. The music video also features Eminem deepfake and his iconic intro from “Role Model” song, produced by Dr. Dre: “Okay, I’m going to attempt to drown myself, You can try this at home, You can be just like me.”

Both Cole Bennett and Cordae built up anticipation for the release through social media posts. This includes the interesting short film “whyrush?” directed by Bennett.

“Doomsday” is a captivating track that brings together the Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae and the late Juice WRLD. It features their skillful wordplay and thought-provoking verses. They are set to music over the iconic Dr. Dre-produced beat of Eminem’s “Role Model.”

The song showcases both rapper’s distinct style in a powerful collaboration. The accompanying music video was, of course, directed by Cole Bennett. It creates a visually stunning spectacle, utilizing technology to seamlessly transform Cordae into Juice WRLD and vice versa.

Eminem & Paul Rosenberg to make animated cameo in Juice WRLD & Cordae’s new “Role Model” sampled single

Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade preparing their first ever compilations album LL1*. It is yet unknown when the album will be released but the first single “Doomsday” by Juice WRLD and Cordae will be dropped this Friday (June 23, 2023).

“Doomsday” by Juice WRLD and Cordae samples Eminem‘s iconic single “Role Model” produced by Dr. Dre and Mel-Man, from his 1999 classic album, The Slim Shady LP. According to the cover of the single, Eminem and Paul Rosenberg will make an animated cameo in the music video of the single.

Last year, Cole Bennett talked about the album during the interview with Our Generation Music: “You know, obviously like the Lyrical Lemonade album has always been in discussion for you know, since things really popped off. It was always like it would be really cool if there was a Lyrical Lemonade album, you know. That was just built out with a lot of like, you know, it’s a compilation album with a lot of the artists that we work with and just creating different vibes and bringing different worlds together, but I never wanted to do it, because… man, man I really hated labels really really bad for a long time. Just because it just rubbed me the wrong way. Now, I’m learning to just appreciate it more. I think I just matured, you know what I mean? Because I was so DIY, like anti-industry and I just never wanted to do it, the timing was wrong.” he said.

Then he continued: “But I think its because it was when all the labels wanted to do these joint ventures and have Lyrical Lemonade to be a sub label and I never wanted to do that. I didn’t know what I was doing and I never go into anything if I’m not fully knowledge on the situation. I’m not a numbers guy either. I don’t wanna be tied into contracts with anyone. I do this because I love it. This is my passion. So, to see people operate solely off just finances and things of that nature, not to get into it too much, I feel like I was getting pulled in by some s–t that I didn’t want. The album being mentioned right around that time, after all of these labels trying to do all these things, I was like all of that type of stuff I was iffy about it and I just knew that the time wasn’t right, you know? I’m big on timing with everything, if I feel even the tiniest gut feeling in the opposite direction, I follow it.”

“Recently, because now I’m ready to take things to the next level, I’m ready to start working on movies and start building Lyrical Lemonade into different worlds. I got some crazy ideas. My imagination, my drive is in a better spot than it’s ever been. This is a unturned stone, like this is something that had to be done. It’s a Lyrical Lemonade album and I know that now with my experience and a lot of the relationships I’ve built, I think I could really do something cool. Bring people together and just make different sounds that maybe wouldn’t get made otherwise and getting more involved with records and that executive producer role, in terms of helping, construct, and layer songs. It’s exciting for me. I want to be in the studio, bringing people together and just building records, so I think this would be really cool.” Cole Bennett added.

Few snippets of the song “Doomsday” by Juice WRLD and Cordae has already been leaked. You can check it out in the video below:

Eminem opens up about Juice WRLD collaboration, beef with Snoop Dogg, Rap Critics & more

Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg sat down with Slim Shady for the part two of “Curtain Call 2” interview on Paul Pod podcast where the two talked about how Dr. Dre’s brain Aneurysm played a big role in reconciliation with Snoop Dogg, collaborating with late rapper Juice WRLD, how it frustrates him what people think about his rhymes and much more.

About Snoop Dogg beef

Me and Snoop had our little issue, when that thing happened with Dre, the brain aneurysm, we were like ‘bro this is stupid as hell to be feuding right now.’ I don’t remember if I called him or he called me but we talked it out and I think there was a miscommunication in regards to him being on my album Marshall Mathers LP2 on a track “B**ch Please II” and he wanted to do something with me again and he gave you [Paul Rosenberg] the idea and he said something like ‘let’s hear what the song sounds first and he took it the way that ‘I don’t f**k with him.’ And I explained to him like ‘bro Doggystyle changed my life.’

About Juice WRLD

We had been talking about Juice WRLD for a while. And we just wanted to do something with him. We liked his freestyles over my instrumentals. It was crazy. I had a different hook on “Godzilla” and never was really crazy about it. I had verses and that was the reason we asked him for the hook. He sent us two things that were great and the first one was that Monster hook. I was like ‘holy s**t.’

About Rap Critics

It’s frustrating when you do something technically and people who think they know what hip-hop is about start giving opinions on it. They don’t hear what the f**k you doing. If I rhyme entire f**king sentence, every syllable hit, they would literally think that at the end of it I was rhyming ‘back’ and ‘cat’ because they skipped over 30 other syllables. They don’t understand that there is art to that. Kool G Rap has done it so well, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, there is an art to that. We [me and critics] are not listening with same ears.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson uses Eminem’s “Godzilla” as his workout motivation

According to some source, Disney has begun talks with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to play Jinn in the sequel of ‘Aladdin,’ instead of Will Smith.

No matter what kind of movie it is, the famous Rock always prepares for his role with a heavy workout sessions in the gym and often uses Eminem’s songs (especially “Till I Collapse”) to get himself motivated.

Yesterday was no different. Dwayne posted a video on his Instagram story where the Hollywood superstar pumps himself up over Eminem’s “Godzilla” song, featuring late Juice WRLD, from Music To Be Murdered By album.

Eminem talks about drug addiction on Juice WRLD’s new album

Juice WRLD’s team are dropping new album tomorrow but the young rapper’s second posthumous album is already out in New Zealand.

The album features Justin Bieber, Suga from BTS, Trippie Redd and Polo G.

There is also an Eminem interlude on a track number five where the Detroit legend talks about drug addiction. It is an interview Eminem did for the 2012 documentary called “How To Make Money Selling Drugs,” directed and written by Matthew Cooke.

“Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died. My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis. They didn’t think I was gonna make it. My bottom was gonna be death. I’m looking at my kids and realizing ‘I need to be here for this.'” says Eminem.

“Coming off everything, I was literally was up 24 hours a day for three weeks straight. And I mean, not sleeping, not even nodding off for a f**king minute. I had to regain motor skills, I had to regain talking skills. It’s been a learning process, I am growing. I couldn’t believe that anybody could be naturally happy without being on something. So I would say to anybody ‘It does get better.'” – Eminem continues.

Eminem will be on Juice WRLD’s new album “Fighting Demons”

Juice WRLD’s team has released the tracklist of his second posthumous album, which is titled “Fighting Demons,” and is set to be released on December 10, 2021.

The album consists of 18 tracks and it includes guest appearances from Justin Bieber, Polo G, Trippie Redd and Suga from BTS.

Track number six is called “Eminem Speaks.” Slim Shady will probably say few words about Juice WRLD over some chilly beat.

This kind of thing has already happened before. Eminem appeared on Juice’s first posthumous album Legends Never Die. Em’s spoken words with Kxng Crooked about the young talent appeared on an interlude track titled “The Man, The Myth, The Legend.”

“Shout out to Juice too man, that kid was so talented. His freestyle he did on Westwood for an hour, man, what the f**k. To be so young, he mastered that so f**king quickly. It’s really sad. His potential was so off the charts.” says Eminem.
