Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar performed their biggest hits at SoFi Stadium last night during Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime show.
The whole music industry celebrated Dr. Dre’s iconic moment, including The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Ab-Soul, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Offset, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, Doja Cat, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, 2 Chainz, YG, Tyga, Megan Thee Stallion and Busta Rhymes!
Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are about to hit the Super Bowl stage with Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar and it seems their DMs are full of messages of people asking for the tickets of the show, which averagely costs $9,000.
Few days ago, Snoop responded to ticket-hungry people with a video clip where the iconic rapper says: “You all need to stop. Ni**as texting me out of blue, calling me out of blue. One ni**a just called me like ‘hey man how you doing dawg, how’s family, you looking good, I’ve seen commercials and s**t. You think you got extra tickets for Super Bowl?’ No ni**a, I don’t! Stop! I ran out of tickets. Oh, I do got a ticket, I got a ticket for you to stand in line and suck this d**k!”
But today, Dre and Snoop took a different approach. The two shared pictures of the banner that says: “Straight Outta Tickets,” playing on ‘Straight Outta Compton” words.
I know you don’t believe it too. I could not believe my eyes when I first saw this information in a closed Facebook group of Canibus but it seems official now.
Canibus will release his Eminem collaboration, described as “UNRELEASED SONG, not a blend, not a mix, not recycled nor ever heard before track,” produced by Dr. Dre as an NFT via his website.
On the website, we read: “At this session, the 4 Lucky Winners + all NFT customers will be the 1st to hear the CANIBUS NFT single featuring EMINEM and Produced by DR. DRE. Yes, this is an actual UNRELEASED SONG, not a blend, not a mix, not recycled nor ever heard before track with CANIBUS x EMINEM produced by Dr. Dre!!! As stated above, like the one of a kind WU-TANG CLAN album “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin”, this Unreleased Track will eventually be sold as an NFT exclusively to one buyer. Until that happens, CANINFT.COM raffle winner and all NFT customers from the site will be allowed to hear this monumental piece of history!”
It’s hard to believe because of Canibus and Eminem’s longtime beef that dates back to 1998, even before Eminem was signed to Dr. Dre. Em even mentions Canibus in one of his recent collaborations with Conway The Machine, on a track called “Bang” in which he raps: “Used to dream one day I’d be fuckin’ pink like a flamingo, that was back when I smoked Canibus, man, but it was tough, ’cause I was a fan of his so it sucked to hand him his a**.”
We are not sure when Canibus and Eminem recorded the track but it seems to be real.
You can check Canibus’ website for more details here and listen to his latest release below:
Eminem has recently sat down with Sway on Shade 45 to promote his Super Bowl Halftime show where he talked about relationship with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, his favorite Super Bowl performances, his plans in future and more!
On Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick is very top top tier lyricist. Not only for this generation but all time.
On Beyoncé
Beyoncé f**king destroyed the Super Bowl Halftime show.
On Snoop Dogg
Snoop is in every other commercial. You just can’t escape him. It’s great that he made himself to be this relevant to this day. It’s incredible. That’s crazy. Me and Snoop are good. We talked months ago about whole thing. We just set down and realized nobody wants a beef within their own camp. Snoop is Snoop man. I will say this about him too, he literally could be a stand up comedian. He’s still f**king funny. That thing he did with Animal Planet…Bro he’s like that constantly, when you are around him. It’s constant and never stops.
On Dr. Dre
My relationship with Dre is absolutely the same. I have not seen Dre for two years, I talk to him all the time but it’s like we could just pick up where we left off if we don’t see each other. It never stops. Our method is pretty much the same as it always been when we are in the studio together.
On his new album
I’m always working. I’m always working on something. And when I’m done working on it, we usually put it out. (If we told you it would not be too much of a surprise – Paul Rosenberg added)
Eminem has recently sat down with SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway ahead of his upcoming Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performance on Shade 45’s Sway In The Morning show.
During their conversation, Eminem spoke about how performing on live TV is nerve-wracking.
“It’s f**in nerve-wrecking. This is like, to me he there is nothing more final than live TV. If you f**k up, your f**k up is there forever.” says Marshall.
He also tells how he feels about Kendrick Lamar and how he felt when Dr. Dre first approached him with the Super Bowl Halftime Show idea. Eminem also told Sway Calloway that he’s rooting for the Los Angeles Rams because of Matthew Stafford’s Detroit connection.
“Kendrick Lamar is very top top tier of lyricist, not just this generation but all time.”
Check out all the clips Sway has shared so far below and stay tuned for the full interview!
About an hour ago, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige held the Super Bowl Halftime show press conference where the three icons of music industry talked about their plans and surprises during the upcoming show in LA.
“Who else could do this show here in LA, who else could perform the Halftime Show other than these amazing artists that we put together for this thing?” Not only that, I’ve been manifesting the Rams, since the beginning of the season, I’m just thinking about it every day, I’m meditating on it and I’m like: ‘Okay, it would be perfect if we are in the Super Bowl performing and the Rams are in the game as well.'” said Dre during the conference.
A cultural icon in Los Angeles promises surprises during the show but he did not reveal any further detail.
Dre also joked he had dissuaded Snoop Dogg and Eminem from any provocative displays during the performance.
On the 13th of February, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show at SoFi Stadium in California.

Back on December 15th, 2021, Rockstar Games released the upgrade of Grand Theft Auto IV, GTA Online: The Contract, which features six new Dr. Dre songs.
“The Contract EP” includes guest appearances from Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, Rick Ross, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, The D.O.C., Thurz and Cocoa Sarai.
At first, the tape was not available on streaming services but today, all the six songs can be found on Spotify and Apple Music.
Dr. Dre has recently jumped on the interview with Big Boy Neighborhood to talked about the plans for Super Bowl Halftime Show performance with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
“We have been working hard to put together a fantastic show. It’s the first time they are allowing hip-hop artists to headline the Super bowl and we are getting ready for it and we know we are going to open the door for other hip-hop artists to be able to do Super Bowl Halftime shows in future.”
“Normally, they are allowing 11 minutes for the performance but they gave us north of 13 minutes to do our thing. Because the lack of time, it makes kinda easy which songs to choose to perform. We are just gonna go right to the hits to heavy hitters. Get in. Have a great time up there. Excite fans and get out. This is probably going to be a springboard for some of the things that’s gonna happen in the future that we have planned.”
“We all got together and everybody is very comfortable with the songs selection and we know exactly what we are going to do. We have amazing music director, Adam Blackstone. He’s over the top with it. Everybody is really excited about the songs selection. It’s time rehearsals to start.”
“Of course it was difficult for me to choose who’d perform at Super Bowl but we can’t have more artists because of the lack of time. We are here. Everybody’s really excited about it and I think the artists that didn’t get the chance to perform with us are gonna appreciate it as well.” said Dr. Dre
Couple of days ago, Dr. Dre sparked a debate on social media after he posted a video of Eminem rapping the fast part of his verse of “Godzilla,” song from Music To Be Murdered By album and asked the hip-hop world: “Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!”
While Dre didn’t specify whether or not he was talking about Eminem facing off in a future installment of Verzuz, Swizz Beatz, who is a co-creator of the live battle series, jumped into Dre’s comments to offer up a rap legend: BUSTA RHYMES.
Dre’s post went viral as many artists and media outlets re-shared his update, including RapTV, who posted the iconic producer’s challenge on Instagram, where T.I. was quick to comment the ‘raising hand’ emoji, meaning, he wants to stand against Eminem on Verzuz stage!
After Dr. Dre ignited the talks of Eminem’s potential Verzuz Battle with his mysterious “Marshall Mathers vs Who?” Instagram post, Verzuz founder and co-host Swizz Beatz expressed his desire to see Busta Rhymes going against Slim Shady.
While many people are eager to see this battle happening, it looks like Kxng Crooked is not a fan of this match-up.
“I am not sold on Busta Vs Em.. I feel like it makes sense to people because they both know how to rap fast but after that happens the catalogs go in two completely different directions, in my opinion.” said Crooked and got into discussion with fans.
Check out the interactions below:

What does Busta play when Em drops Stan or Lose Yourself? What does Em play when Busta drops Hands Where My Eyes Can See or Pass The Courvoisier in your opinion? (That will have equal or better impact)
Earlier today, Dr. Dre posted posted Eminem’s fast verse of “Godzilla” with the caption: “Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!” This is the same video Eminem posted two years ago when he started “Godzilla Challenge,” which sparked the rumors of Eminem’s plans to participate in Verzuz battle.
Producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, who are also the creators of the Verzuz battle, have reacted to Dre’s mysterious post. “Busta!!!! Let’s Go!!!” commented Swizz and Timbaland just shared the post on his story, asking his fans about their opinions.
Many artists, including Snoop Dogg, DA Got That Dope and Fredwreck re-shared Dr. Dre’s post on their walls and stories.
