Eminem sends fanboy note to LL Cool J, LL responds back

Couple of days ago, LL Cool J was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the legendary rapper did not leave without bringing his friends onstage.

Dr. Dre inducted LL Cool J with lots of praise and playful jokes during his speech.

The hip-hop pioneer performed lots of his iconic hits for one of the luckiest crowds, including “Going Back to Cali.” To perform another hit song “Rock the Bells,” LL surprised fans by introducing another legendary rapper Eminem, who swapped verses with him on the track and made it look like they were battling each other.

He then continued with the surprise guests by bringing out Jenny from the Block, Jennifer Lopez, to perform their number-one song, “All I Have.”

Eminem has always recognized LL as his biggest influence in the hip-hop world and today he sent a fanboy note to him on social media: “16 years old Marshall is so proud- congrats L!”

Under the Instagram post, LL replied: “Eminem,Thank You for joining me during this special moment!!!! Love you bro!!”

“The hook of ‘Last One Standing’ I had like five years. When I write a lot of songs sometimes they don’t find a home and they just sit in a Dropbox folder for years. This is one of those situations but it was just a hook and a track and when we find out Sony Pictures wanted to use it for Venom we decided to put some rappers on it. Polo G and Mozzy where first rappers we got on it. And I have a history of working with Eminem. He did the first Venom movie titled song. So I was like it would make sense to have him on this too because it would pay homage to the original so I hit him up and he agreed to get on it so here we are.”

“I used to say ‘oh I do not get star-struck’ but I was just traying to be too cool. I still get star-struck working with Eminem. I listened to him since I was a kid and I can not believe he has been so supportive. We have done over a dozen songs together and whether he knows it or not he is like my mentor but it is just weird and yeah I am still star-struck by that.” – says Skylar Grey.

Drake ties another Eminem Billboard record

Drake’s latest album, Certified Lover Boy, has spent 5th week on Billboard 200 charts, making him to repeat the record set by Eminem.

Drizzy now has three albums which have spent at least 5 weeks each at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, just like Eminem.

Other Drake’s albums that have spent at least five weeks at number one are: “Scorpion” and “Views”

For Eminem, the record holder albums are: “The Marshall Mathers LP,” “The Eminem Show,” and “Recovery.”

Yesterday, Griselda hit the 2021 Rolling Loud Festival stage!

Before Buffalo’s finest took the stage, their fanbase got a brief introduction to the First Lady of Griselda, Armani Caesar, who proved herself to be a lyrical spitter in her own right.

Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and Benny the Butcher proceeded to give a clinic in street rap. During their 40-minute set, charismatic leader WSG mostly stepped back to give Conway, Benny, and Armani ample opportunity to put on a display of their prodigious talent.

The crew performed dozens of their classic songs from the catalog, including Conway The Machine’s latest Shady Records single “Piano Love,” produced by one and only Alchemist.

Limp Bizkit mentions Eminem in a new song from their new album

Fred Durst, Sam Rivers, John Otto, DJ Lethal and Wes Borland are back as Limp Bizkit with new album titled “Still Sucks.”

The album includes a song titled “Love The Hate.” Fred Durst is rapping from haters’ perspective that making them sound like they are dissing themselves but Fred clearly does not care about his haters.

There is Eminem mention in a song too: “That motherf**ker Fred Durst / Looks like he fell out his mom’s face first / Yeah, you’re tellin’ me, he’s got no swag / His raps suck like a vacuum bag / That’s what’s up, my G / He the worst white rapper that’ll ever be / Sure as f**k ain’t no Eminem / Looks like he’s got Drake’s pubes on his chin / Yeah, he’s a punk, punk-a** b**ch.”

It seems Limp Bizkit haters often mention Eminem while slandering the rock-rap group.

Last night, Dr. Dre inducted legendary LL Cool J into the 2021 ceremony of Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

After the night, the Bay Shore, New York-born rapper said he wants to see Eminem also inducted into Hall Of Fame.

During the performance, LL brought out Eminem to perform “Rock The Bells” and Jennifer Lopez for “All I Have.”

Eminem’s appearance was surprise for the fans around the world. In the video below, you can check the reactions from the crowd and better views for the performance.

LL Cool J wants Eminem to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame held its 36th annual induction ceremony last night and they welcomed the likes of Foo Fighters, Tina Turner, The Go-Go’s, Carole King and Todd Rundgren to its roster.

Another huge name that was celebrated yesterday was LL Cool J, a legendary rapper known for hits like “Doin’ It” and “Mama Said Knock You Out.”

LL was inducted by his long-time friend Dr. Dre, who who praised Cool J during his speech and referred him as someone who has “hit that unique space that crosses generations…Loved by you, your mom, and all your kids. How about that?”

LL Cool J also brought out two music industry icons: Eminem and Jennifer Lopez. The Detroit legend performed “Rock the Bells” with him while J Lo provided her vocals for “All I Have.”

After the ceremony, LL was asked which hip-hop artists deserve to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, on which he replied: “So many. I mean, Outkast would be amazing. Eminem would be amazing. Eric B and Rakim would be amazing. Big Daddy Kane… So many artists of Hip-Hop that are amazing. KRS-One. I had a lot of mainstream success but there are guys who may didn’t have this mainstream success but they are extremely talented.”

P.S. Artists with at least 25 years of career is eligible for the nomination of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

LL Cool J brings out Eminem to perform “Rock The Bells” at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

For his much-anticipated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, legendary rapper LL Cool J brought the energy in Cleveland considerably high, thanks to the night’s first major surprise guests: Eminem and Jennifer Lopez.

LL Cool J kicked off his set with a bang, going into 1987’s “Rock Around the Clock”-quoting “Go Cut Creator Go,” from Bigger and Deffer. Sporting an all-silver iridescent jumpsuit with silver sparkle accents on the cuffs and neck, as well as a gray knit hat and sunglasses, he darted and jumped on the stage like a prizefighter.

After spitting a bit of 1988’s “Going Back to Cali,” surprise guest, Detroit legend, Eminem walked onstage. What ensued was a positively incendiary collaboration on “Rock the Bells.”

Colin Jost jokes about Eminem & Macklmore during SNL’s Weekend Update

Saturday Night Live is not live tonight, but its a replay that’s very worthy of a re-watch. SNL is going back to its season premiere to re-air the episode hosted by Owen Wilson.

The audience was also thrilled for the return of Weekend Update, where Michael Che and Colin Jost talked about infrastructure, Joe Rogan, R. the Kelly verdict, Disney turning 50, masturbating chimps, Obama’s Presidential Library, unvaccinated NBA players, Billie Eilish, white paint and Eminem’s “Mom’s Spaghetti” restaurant in Detroit.

“During the opening day of Eminem’s new Detroit restaurant, the rapper surprised guests by serving them pasta himself. Not to be outdone, Macklemore got fired from Olive Garden.” jokes Colin Jost.

Devon Sawa recalls playing Stan in Eminem’s music video: “I was surrounded by greatness”

Starring in classics movies like Casper, Final Destination and Little Giants, Devon Sawa is now sharing his body of work with his children as Chucky TV show hits the screens.

In his latest interview with Entertainment Tonight, Devon touched on his memorable role as Stan in Eminem’s hit song of the same name from The Marshall Mathers LP album, which was released in 2000.

“This is one of the most favorite things I have done. I am so proud to talk about that video. Dr. Dre directed it. It was Eminem when he was just coming out. Those 3 days on set were some of the best days I had on set. I was just surrounded by greatness.”

“Dre knew what he was doing those 3 days. You knew how excited he was and he knew what he was doing and what he was getting. So you kind of knew you were being a part of something important.” said Sawa.

He also shared his opinion on Pete Davidson’s parody of “Stan,” saying: “I loved it. It was funny. It was in good taste. A lot of fun. I loved it.”

IDK shouts out Eminem in a new song with Royce 5’9″

IDK has just released the deluxe edition of his USEE4YOURSELF, which includes an extended version of the song titled “Dogs Don’t Lie,” featuring Royce Da 5’9″, produced by Kurtis McKenzie, DJ Dahi, Blue Rondo and IDK himself.

In the song, London-born rapper shouts out Eminem with the following lines: “My wit come from Ye, my swagger a little Jay / My humor from Eminem, this beat like Just Blaze / Get b**ches like I’m Pharrell, am I lying? No, I’m for real.”

Royce also mentions lots of huge names in his verse: “If your blueprint ain’t come from Hov, then you should copy LeBron’s / If you losin’ yourself for gold, then that’s what got you to bronze
Muhammad Ali, Haile Selassie, Gaddafi, Saddam / The Black man is God, not a godd**n mafia don / If you ever meet B.I.G. in Heaven, ni**a, tell him I’m dope.”
