After DJ Khaled, Fat Joe also received “Mom’s Spaghetti” as a gift from Eminem

Fat Joe has recently sat down with Hollywood legend Chazz Palminteri on his Chazz Palminteri Show where they talked about everything from growing up in the Bronx, his music career, his hip-hop influences, their mutual friends, life changing stories and their success coming up from the Bronx. Joe also has an incredible life lesson that he shares and the advice that he should’ve taken from A Bronx Tale in order to avoid a life changing event.

At one point of the interview, Fat Joe revealed that Eminem has recently sent him ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ sauce as a gift. Couple of weeks ago, Detroit legend Eminem announced on social media that jars of his “Mom’s Spaghetti” Pasta Sauce would launch through the Mom’s Spaghetti official website. When the sauce popped up on the website, the sauce quickly sold out within hours.

“You know my brother Eminem just pulled out a ne sauce and its called ‘Mom’s Spaghetti.’ He sent it to my house I swear a god. He has a sauce available called Mom’s Spaghetti!” said Fat Joe.

Then Joe went on praising Em: “He’s the best. He is phenomenal. He’s too great. You cant’ stop him. He’s too great. He’s like an alien. He’s amazing.”

On that Chazz Palminteri replied: “I do not know him well but I met Dr. Dre and I got to know him a little bit through Jimmy Iovine and I met him bunch of times. And he would tell me, when he first heard Eminem rap, it was like ‘WHAT THE F–K?!’ Yeah, he is like an alien.”

Fat Joe is not the only one who received the sauce as a sign of respect from Eminem. Last week, DJ Khaled shared a video of him thanking Slim Shady for the gift.

Xzibit talks how he first met Eminem & how they ended up working together

Xzibit has recently sat down on The Adam Corolla Show with Tammy Pettigrew, Adam and Chris where the legendary hip-hop artist talked about meeting and working with Eminem in the past.

“I come from battle rap scene. When I first started on the West Coast it was very small clicks of emcees and we all used to go and do these battles. Or we would go to The Wake Up Show with Tech and Sway. These were the only outlets. There was no internet. In New York, they had different things, Lyricist Lounge, they had mixtapes, they had vibrant scene.” said Xzibit.

The he continued: “So, Eminem was very famous for going and being a battle rapper. Even when he spelled his name M&M like candy, he was so talented back then and he was grooming himself. So, everybody was doing the same thing, grooming themselves and you heard of him because he was a white guy with that much skill, coming to the scene was pretty amazing. When you met him, his reputation preceded him. I met him through that first. It was not like ‘oh we gonna work together and do all this stuff later’, nah. We both came from same kinda place. Once he came for Rap Olympics, he was ready to throw a towel at that time, but he was giving out tapes and one of the tapes from that battle got to Dre and Jimmy. And then they called him and the rest is history.”

“From there, I got to Dre through different way. But we all ended up in the same camp. It was all for the same kinda push because we were a certain talents that we brought to the table with our rhymes. So, that’s kinda how we got together and moved on. But he had a crazy story as well so I’m glad I was in ‘8 Mile’. I’m glad I was able to work with him in the capacity that I have. Nothing but respect for the Marshall and the rest of the team.” Xzibit added.

Shakur Stevenson talks meeting Eminem at Terence Crawford fight

Shakur Stevenson says there might be a chance Eminem could walk him out for his next fight following a recent meeting between the pair.

The two-weight world champion will fight for the vacant WBC lightweight title against Edwin De Los Santos on November 16, 2023 and has not ruled out being accompanied by the Detroit legend.

Having escorted Terrence Crawford to the ring for his July battle against Errol Spence, Slim Shady is no stranger to the boxing scene.

He was also present when Tyson Fury defeated Francis Ngannou in a split decision in Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

Stevenson revealed that he met the lyricist during the weekend of the Crawford v Spence fight in Las Vegas and let slip a conversation between the pair.

“I actually met him the night before the fight. He told me he was a big fan and actually he is a big fan because when he saw me he was like ‘man, two of my favorite boxers, I finally get to meet them. Nobody can beat you man, it’s just too hard to hit you man.” – Shakur Stevenson told ES News.

The ringing endorsement from one of music’s biggest stars pleased the Olympic silver medalist who also hinted at a possible collaboration with Eminem in the near future.

When asked if Marshall Mathers could walk him to the ring in his next fight, he replied: “I don’t know, we’ll see, we’ll see.”

David Adeleye tells story of meeting Eminem in Riyadh

Although David Adeleye ‘s match versus Fabio Wardley did not go in his favor, he still had a positive experience on his journey to Saudi Arabia.

In the seventh round of his rematch with Wardley, Adeleye was knocked out on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou late last month.

Adeleye’s first loss in his professional boxing career will undoubtedly be difficult to accept, but he did get to meet some of his heroes while in Saudi Arabia for the highly anticipated tournament.

“On my table, I was sitting alongside my commercial agent, I had Amir Khan on my left and I had Eminem sitting across from me. They told me Eminem was on my table and they’d done the seating arrangements so we would be across from each other and I was like ‘What?!’ David Adeleye told to talkSPORT.

Then he continued: “There’s a boxing game that’s coming out on PSP and I was playing it with him, it was humbling. He was giving me words of encouragement the day before the fight and can you imagine what is was like? There were big musicians there who I like listening to giving me words of encouragement.”

50 Cent says scrapped “Relapse 2” album had 5 songs with Eminem & talks about 8 Mile TV series

50 Cent has recently talked about new music, friendship with Eminem, Relapse 2 album and 8 Mile TV series on Evropa 2. You can check out the interview below.

“When I’m not moving around and not touring and doing things, then its gonna permit me to focus on creating music. You get little more of what you get from Dr. Dre and Eminem from me at that point.” said 50 Cent.

Then he continued: “When the last time you have seen Eminem on tour? You see what I’m saying? It’s been a while but he’ll go and make music. Because his passion is still in music. He’s like a lab-rat. He’ll go to the studio and come up with something new.”

“Em is like my best friend to be honest. It’s rare when you run into someone who always has your best interest at heart. There is no point that he’s not looking at it and going is that good for him. He won’t want me to do it if it’s not good for me. They tried to get him to do the Super Bowl he would not do it without me.” 50 Cent added.

Then the interviewer asked if there will be any new song with Eminem, on which, Fif replied: “We have a whole CD together. He did Relapse and when he didn’t see the response that he wanted, he scrapped Relapse 2. And then went to Recovery. On Relapse 2, we had 4-5 songs on the album together but the world will probably never hear that record.”

“Em may not release it but he’s gonna make new music. This guy goes like people go to work from 9 to 5. He gets up and goes in recording studio from 9 to 5 like its a job. So he’s always coming up with something. He’s always doing something.”

After that, Fiddy was asked about the 8 Mile TV series that he’s planning to make in future: “8 Mile is a huge hit. I think its important for his legacy and it needs to be done correctly so I’m really tedious about who comes in as a writer showrunner for the project and how its structured and put together.”

“When Eminem come around the house, I showed him the house and then I showed him the laundry room and I said to myself ‘why did you show him laundry room?!'” said Jonathan Ross.

Then he continued: “And then he came into laundry room, followed by his minder, who followed him around the house. Very sweet guy. They both came in and I said this is where we wash. This is a special cabinet for drying. The bouncer guy was like ‘you dry stuff in there?’ I said ‘yeah, yeah.’ He said ‘hmm, cool.'”

“He had never had a Cherry diet coke before. And Eminem was so polite. Every time he came in the room, he asked if he could sit down. ‘Can I sit down?’ Of course you can sit down, you are a guest.” Jonathan added.

Eminem previously visited Jonathan Ross at his Friday Night show two times before, first it was in 2009, when he was promoting Relapse album and in 2010, when Slim Shady dropped Recovery album.

Erick Sermon says he’d go harder if he knew Eminem was on Nas’ “EPMD 2” track

EPMD’s Erick Sermon has recently visited Math Hoffa on his My Expert Opinion where he talked about how Nas’ “EPMD 2” with Eminem came about.

“Nas had called for the permission to use EPMD name, that happened, and then Hit-Boy was like ‘yo, you wanna jump on the record?’ I’m like ‘hell yeah, I jump on the song.'” said Erick Sermon.

Then he continued: “I really didn’t even know about what to do [write] so I was trying to go on what Nas was talking about. It was Covid. So, the s–t was going on so I was trying to being political with that cause I probably would have came different. Especially knowing that Eminem was coming up behind me.”

“So, you know, MCing, I don’t give a f–k if I can’t get him. I’m not gonna do that. If I know that Em is right there [Em is reckless]. And then, Nas said, ‘oh yeah, Eric, I put Em on the record.’ I was like ‘HUH?!’ We had 16 [bars] but he cut it because Em was going long. So, he only gave us 8. But it was cool. I respect that he called it EPMD. That was cool.”

“I would have kept saying metaphors, I would have kept going. Causse, I’m here, I wrote the whole thing so I would have went cause I’m not afraid.” Erick Sermon added.

Britney Spears mentions Eminem’s “Kim” in her new book

Britney Spears has recently released her much-anticipated memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which sold 1.1 million copies in all formats in the United States in its first week on sale, the book’s publisher, Gallery Books, announced on Wednesday.

The early sales number puts Spears’s book in the ballpark of some of the best-selling celebrity memoirs in recent years. In the same time frame, Prince Harry’s memoir sold 1.6 million copies in the United States, while that of Mary Trump, former president Donald J. Trump’s niece, sold 1.4 million when it debuted in 2020.

As Google Books describes: In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.

Surprisingly, there is a mention of Eminem and his ex-wife in the book. You can read the paragraph below:

The thought of me betraying him gave the album more angst, gave it a purpose: s–t-talking an unfaithful woman. The hip-hop world of that era loved a storyline with the theme ‘F–k you, b–ch!’ Getting revenge on women for perceived disrespect was all the rage at that time. Eminem’s violent revenge song “Kim” was huge. The only problem with the narrative was that, in our case, it wasn’t like that.” – Britney Spears.

Eminem’s Kim mentioned in Britney Spears’ new book
byu/EminemsDaughterSucks inEminem

“Kim” is a song by Eminem that appears on his 2000 classic album The Marshall Mathers LP. The song reflects intense anger and hatred toward his then-wife Kim Mathers and features Eminem imitating her voice, and ends with him murdering her and later putting her body in the trunk of his car.

“Kim” was the first song Eminem recorded for the album, shortly after finishing work on The Slim Shady LP in late 1998. He wrote it, along with “’97 Bonnie & Clyde” (where Eminem and his daughter go to the lake to dispose of Kim’s dead body), when he and Kim were having relationship problems and Kim was preventing him from seeing his daughter Hailie. Despite its controversial graphic content, it is often highlighted as one of Eminem’s most memorable songs.

Eminem releases “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” [Expanded Edition]

On it’s 10th year anniversary, Eminem has released the expanded edition of his 2013 solo studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The album is yet available in selected countries, including Australia and New Zealand.

The album includes all the original tracks, plus “Don’t Front,” featuring Buckshot, which was a bonus track of MMLP2 for anyone who ordered the Call of Duty: Ghosts and the album bundle. It was also a bonus track on the Best Buy version of Shady XV compilation album.

The expanded edition of MMLP2 also includes instrumentals of all the singles of the albums: “Survival,” “Berzerk,” “The Monster,” featuring Rihanna, “Rap God,” and “Headlights.”

“Don’t Front” is produced by Katalyst. It samples the beat from the 1993 song “I Got Cha Opin” by New York group Black Moon with the same hook by Buckshot.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 serves as a sequel to Slim Shady’s third album The Marshall Mathers LP (2000). It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling more than 792,000 copies in its first week and earned Eminem Grammy for Best Rap Album.

Watch: DJ Khaled’s reaction after Eminem sends him “Mom’s Spaghetti” sauce

Last week, Detroit legend Eminem announced on social media that jars of his “Mom’s Spaghetti” Pasta Sauce would launch through the Mom’s Spaghetti official website.

When the sauce popped up on the website last Thursday for orders, the sauce quickly sold out within hours, said Curt Catallo, co-owner of Union Joints restaurant group and partner in the sauce and the Mom’s Spaghetti joint inside the group’s Union Assembly restaurant downtown on Woodward.

Mom’s Spaghetti also got a shoutout during last night’s ABC/ESPN “Monday Night Football” broadcast talking about Eminem’s restaurant and meatballs, according to Detroit Free Press.

It seems Slim Shady sent the pasta sauce to his friends before it got sold out and DJ Khaled is one of them who received it as a gift. In the video shared on his social media account, Miami-based hype man says: “Bless up the legendary Eminem. Shout out to Paul. Eminem, thank you for this beautiful gift. ‘Mom’s Spaghetti pasta sauce. Chef Melissa, please, make me some spaghetti. Eminem, thank you brother. Paul, nothing but love brother, bless up.”

Is Eminem teasing new album with the new merch?!

Eminem is celebrating the 2023’s Halloween with the release of the new merch called Shady Rated R capsule and fans are now speculating that it might be a hint at the new album.

The new merchandise includes a custom Halloween designs, and one of the prints could be a hint at the title of some new music release. “A walking talking nightmare is unleashed, the terror continues, Eminem returns in the latest instalment of the Slim Shady – Die Now, Cry Later,” is printed on the hoodie.

“God if he does do another SSLP.. I don’t know how will he capture the same magic again honestly. Hope he names the album something else and raps on more dark and sinister beats and more rap features.” said one of the fans. Another added: “ITS PERHAPS JUST A REFERENCE TO PREVIOUS EDITIONS OF MERCH DROPS. Remember Shady Demolition? this one is Shady Rater R and there was another Shady related drop I guess.”

Some of the fans remembered the snippet White Gold posted on his story couple of months ago. The intro of the snippet goes like this: “Hey Slim, wanna get wasted? / You got all the money in the world, I know your bored / No, but really, Slim / You know you can have 2 million hoes when you tour, maybe more / Look, I thought you was a rapper / Besides the money, ain’t this what you doin’ it for? / Maybe I’m wrong, and as the world turns / You know the public is movin’ on from you, right?”

White Gold and Eminem have previously collaborated on two tracks, “You Gon’ Learn” with Royce 5’9″ and “Zeus”, both from Music To Be Murdered By album. Last year, the musician hinted that more songs with Eminem was coming.

First installment: The Slim Shady EP. Second installment: The Slim Shady LP. Third installment: The Slim Shady LP2. Is this it?! Or is this just the third part of his Slim Shady merch capsule?
