Watch: DJ Khaled’s reaction after Eminem sends him “Mom’s Spaghetti” sauce
Last week, Detroit legend Eminem announced on social media that jars of his “Mom’s Spaghetti” Pasta Sauce would launch through the Mom’s Spaghetti official website.
When the sauce popped up on the website last Thursday for orders, the sauce quickly sold out within hours, said Curt Catallo, co-owner of Union Joints restaurant group and partner in the sauce and the Mom’s Spaghetti joint inside the group’s Union Assembly restaurant downtown on Woodward.
Mom’s Spaghetti also got a shoutout during last night’s ABC/ESPN “Monday Night Football” broadcast talking about Eminem’s restaurant and meatballs, according to Detroit Free Press.
It seems Slim Shady sent the pasta sauce to his friends before it got sold out and DJ Khaled is one of them who received it as a gift. In the video shared on his social media account, Miami-based hype man says: “Bless up the legendary Eminem. Shout out to Paul. Eminem, thank you for this beautiful gift. ‘Mom’s Spaghetti pasta sauce. Chef Melissa, please, make me some spaghetti. Eminem, thank you brother. Paul, nothing but love brother, bless up.”
