G-Eazy stopped by UPROXX’s Sound Check and had to make some tough music decisions based on his music taste. He chose between Eminem and Slim Shady, Jay Z and Nas, Juvenile and Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi and T.I. and more.
In Eminem’s cause, Oakland, California-born rapper was asked to choose between Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna and “Till I Collapse,” featuring Nate Dogg. Here is what he replied:
“I love The Eminem Show era Eminem. When I think about Till I Collapse I remember when Michael Phelps was winning all the Olympic gold medals he had said that he listened to Eminem to
get hyped up before race and every time I hear that song song the claps and drums sound like splashes in the pool. Like Michael Phelps [swims]. Next time you listen to it, remember that.”
