New Song: Kid Rock – “Heal My Faith” ft. Eminem

Kid Rock and Eminem have teamed up for a new song titled “Heal My Faith,” which will appear on Kid Rock’s upcoming album, Halfway to Jesus.

The collaboration sparked confusion over the past few days after the two Detroit artists were initially expected to appear together on a track called “7 Sins.” However, in a social media post o Wednesday (October 14), Kid Rock clarified that Eminem had been replaced by Lil Wayne on “7 Sins,” while his collaboration with Em would arrive as a separate song, “Heal My Faith.”

During the announcement, Kid Rock referred to Eminem as “my old friend of almost 40 years” and emphasized that the people involved in his new album do not necessarily share the same political views.

Despite coming from the same city, the two artists have expressed opposing political positions over the years. Kid Rock has been an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump since the president’s first campaign, while Eminem has repeatedly criticized Trump.

Addressing the diversity of perspectives among those who contributed to his upcoming album, Kid Rock explained that differences in political beliefs did not prevent them from working together.

“Not only the special guests, the musicians, the songwriters, the engineers, everybody involved in this record, we all don’t think the same,” he said. “Plenty of us think differently. All different backgrounds, everything, different politics. We’re able to come together and make this beautiful body of work that I’m so proud of.”
