50 Cent Talks About His Unbreakable Bond with Eminem Posted on October 19, 2026 By Remy Gelenidze 50 Cent recently sat down with Andrew Schulz on the FLAGRANT podcast, delivering an candid look into his legendary career, his strategic mindset, and his deep-rooted loyalty to Eminem. Reflecting on the foundation of his career and his unbreakable bond with the Detroit icon, he said, “Eminem is 50 Cent bro. There is no 50 Cent without Em and people don’t understand my relationship with him because at the time they had relationships with everybody, all of the business… like, I’ve never told people not to play Ja Rule’s music. I told them, I don’t f–k with him and if you f–k with him I don’t f–k with you.” Advertisement He continued by explaining the political landscape of the record industry during his rise, stating, “So I knew if I did a deal in certain places I would not get a fair shot. When the East coast and West coast st was going on I had to be on the West coast. Interscope was a West coast. Jimmy Iovine had Death Row. Paul Rosenberg talked about me at that time like ‘he’s f–king more popular than Em.’ And I’m like ‘Em’s the guy, you just stupid.'” Advertisement He added that his respect for Eminem stems from both humility and an appreciation for his unmatched success, saying, “Where I was raised bro, we’ve never had an issue because I’ve never tried to outshine the master. And what I mean by that, he’s why I got the opportunity. When I’m selling 13 Million records, he sold 24 Million records with the Marshall Mathers album. They are like, ‘he’s white, that’s why’, yes, he’s f–king white. How long you going to do that, when we listen to the music and his is more advance?!”He continued to emphasize his dedication as a fan and student of Eminem’s creative process, stating, “There is no Eminem record out that I didn’t hear, that I didn’t sit and listen to it. I listen to all of his s–t. When he’s angry, he gets fast and everything starts coming out s–t like that. I listen to every single thing he’s done. He sends it to me early, so I already know some of the s–t that they trying to catch up with. We have a relationship that kind of kept us ahead of the curve with a lot of s–t in this because creatively…” Advertisement He added the backstory behind how he stepped into the infamous feud with Ja Rule on Eminem’s behalf, saying, “Look, I wasn’t even saying anything about Ja with Em. When I first got there, I didn’t want them to feel like they bought a problem. He made a mistake and said something about Hailie. Ja said something about Eminem’s daughter cause he felt like he had some relationship with Em cause they got high couple times and they thought close situation made them blood brothers. So he said some s–t about Hailie and Em was bothered.”He continued detailing the relentless work ethic that followed in the studio that weekend, recalling, “It was Friday, we were in Detroit studio and when he left, we didn’t go home. Em wanted to chill during the weekend. I recorded ‘Automatic Gunfire‘ that weekend. That’s the first tape I was addressing Ja Rule situation. I recorded the whole CD. When Em came back, I said to him you gotta hear it. And after he got passed like 3rd track, he was like ‘When did you do this?! This is crazy. Wait a minute! I gotta do my s–t!’ He hadn’t touched on how he was going to respond to what Ja has said cause he left to chill for two days. When he came back, he noticed I had the same clothes on when he left. We never left the studio. We stayed in the studio.” Advertisement He added his perspective on how major corporations leverage Eminem’s colossal star power in co-headlining events, stating, “They did Yankee Stadium and Detroit show with Eminem. Em is the biggest f–king rap artist in the world. They paired you with Eminem? Pair anyone with Eminem that s–t will sell out.”He concluded by addressing whether he takes issue with Eminem maintaining a good relationship and sharing stages with Jay-Z, saying, “Look, you don’t have to explain yourself to me. My relationship with Em not gonna change. You can’t mean what he meant to my career. Nobody else can. At that point, when he’s done, he’s done it already. So if you gonna rap with Jay at the show then go bro, what the f–k? If he said it to me in advance. I would say go. You think I got a beef with Jay-Z that would make Em not do something? He won’t do something with somebody that’s a direct opp. Of course he’s not gonna f–k with you.” Advertisement RECENT RELATED ARTICLES50 Cent Shuts Down Critics Praising Eminem’s Impact on Rap CultureOctober 14, 202650 Cent Confirms Eminem’s New Album Dropping SoonOctober 13, 202650 Cent Explains How Jay-Z Used Eminem to Boost His Tour CareerOctober 9, 2026Complex Updates Their List Of Top 50 Diss Records Of All TimeSeptember 16, 2026New “Street Fighter” Trailer Features Upcoming 50 Cent, Eminem & 2Pac SongSeptember 2, 202650 Cent Rejects Verzuz Battle Unless Eminem Is IncludedAugust 23, 2026 50 CentEminem
