50 Cent Confirms Eminem’s New Album Dropping Soon

At the red carpet premiere for the Street Fighter movie, 50 Cent caught up with ExtraTV and shared a major update regarding Eminem’s expected contributions to the film’s soundtrack. While initial excitement built around Eminem supplying music for the project, Fifty clarified why the Detroit legend ultimately shifted his attention away from the film.

Explaining why Eminem pulled back from the final soundtrack cut, 50 Cent shared that Mathers had initially laid down material before changing direction. 50 Cent said, “Eminem put couple of pieces for “Street Fighter” movie soundtrack but he got closer to his album and he kinda fell back because he’s preparing for presentation of his album.”

By sharing this behind-the-scenes detail, 50 Cent officially confirmed that a new Eminem album is actively in the works. Rather than dividing his focus across external film projects, Eminem chose to step back to put his full effort into finalizing and organizing the presentation for his next studio release.

Although hip-hop fans might be disappointed not to hear Eminem’s work on the movie soundtrack, 50 Cent’s revelation brings even bigger news for fans worldwide. The statement confirms that Eminem’s next album rollout is well underway and taking complete priority.
