Kid Rock Announces New Song With Eminem

Detroit rap-rock icon Kid Rock and Eminem have joined forces once again for Rock’s upcoming album, Halfway 2 Jesus.

According to a 17-song track listing revealed by Kid Rock on October 1, Eminem lends his vocals to a track titled “7 Sins.” The faith-focused album—alternately stylized as Halfway to Jesus—also features song titles such as “Freedom,” “Why Don’t You Look Into Jesus,” “Me and Jesus,” and a rendition of “God Bless the USA.”

This collaboration marks the latest chapter in a long history between the two Michigan artists. Eminem previously appeared on Kid Rock’s 1998 breakthrough album Devil Without a Cause on the song “F— Off“—just prior to the release of The Slim Shady LP. Kid Rock later returned the favor by making a cameo in Eminem’s 2013 music video for “Berzerk.”

Kid Rock’s website currently highlights the Christian-themed project alongside an October 17 date and an active countdown timer pointing toward its release.
