The Game reportedly upset for not being part of Super Bowl Halftime show

Since its premiere, The Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show has been the main topic in social media with a great majority of people claiming a victory for Hip Hop culture and a major win for the west coast hip-hop scene.

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent hit the stage on Sunday night with a groundbreaking, history-making performance that has been more celebrated than the Super Bowl game itself.

But it seems there is someone who felt betrayed for not being the part of the show and it’s THE GAME.

The legendary West Coast rapper shared a few reposts to his Instagram story that suggest that he should have been part of the legendary halftime lineup.

“FYI, The Game should have been on stage at the Super Bowl” said one message. “Sh**t brazy fr.” said another message.  “THE GAME SHOULD HAVE PERFORMED AT THE SUPER BOWL WITH DRDRE I MEAN TIS IS LA.” was the third message.

The Game also had a party the same time as Super Bowl where he addressed the audience: “If I was there, I could not be here and I swear this is a vibe!”

Few days ago, Snoop responded to ticket-hungry people with a video clip where the iconic rapper says: “You all need to stop. Ni**as texting me out of blue, calling me out of blue. One ni**a just called me like ‘hey man how you doing dawg, how’s family, you looking good, I’ve seen commercials and s**t. You think you got extra tickets for Super Bowl?’ No ni**a, I don’t! Stop! I ran out of tickets. Oh, I do got a ticket, I got a ticket for you to stand in line and suck this d**k!”

But today, Dre and Snoop took a different approach. The two shared pictures of the banner that says: “Straight Outta Tickets,” playing on ‘Straight Outta Compton” words.

Dr. Dre reveals he already selected songs for Super Bowl, says it’s just a beginning of what is planned

Dr. Dre has recently jumped on the interview with Big Boy Neighborhood to talked about the plans for Super Bowl Halftime Show performance with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

“We have been working hard to put together a fantastic show. It’s the first time they are allowing hip-hop artists to headline the Super bowl and we are getting ready for it and we know we are going to open the door for other hip-hop artists to be able to do Super Bowl Halftime shows in future.”

“Normally, they are allowing 11 minutes for the performance but they gave us north of 13 minutes to do our thing. Because the lack of time, it makes kinda easy which songs to choose to perform. We are just gonna go right to the hits to heavy hitters. Get in. Have a great time up there. Excite fans and get out. This is probably going to be a springboard for some of the things that’s gonna happen in the future that we have planned.”

“We all got together and everybody is very comfortable with the songs selection and we know exactly what we are going to do. We have amazing music director, Adam Blackstone. He’s over the top with it. Everybody is really excited about the songs selection. It’s time rehearsals to start.”

“Of course it was difficult for me to choose who’d perform at Super Bowl but we can’t have more artists because of the lack of time. We are here. Everybody’s really excited about it and I think the artists that didn’t get the chance to perform with us are gonna appreciate it as well.” said Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre teases something big related to Eminem

Dr. Dre rarely posts on social media but when he does, we expect something special to happen.

After sharing Super Bowl Halftime show trailer, Dre posted Eminem’s fast verse of “Godzilla” with the caption: “Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!” This is the same video Eminem posted two years ago when he started “Godzilla Challenge.”

Dr. Dre’s post was shared by Fredwreck on his story with the same caption. Later, the same video appeared on d.a. got that dope’s story, who is one of the the producers of “Godzilla.”

In the Super Bowl advertisement trailer, Eminem and his alter ago Slim Shady are trading/shooting bars/words at each other. The trailer and Dr. Dre’s recent post have the same essence: EMINEM VS SLIM SHADY. So, here comes three theories:

1. Eminem is going to do a Verzuz against Slim Shady cause he sees himself the only competition.

2. Eminem is dropping an album where Marshall and Slim Shady will have a war.

3. This is just a Super Bowl promotion and nothing else.

Cordae talks meeting Dr. Dre through Anderson. Paak & how collaboration with Eminem came about

Cordae has recently set down with Ebro in the Morning to have an open discussion on personal topics including his brother Simba who is currently incarcerated, yet featured on his album, and his discussions with Kim Kardashian, the rap scene in the DMV area, being in the tennis world due to his relationship with Naomi Osaka, his weight loss, and studying to be noted as one of the greats one day.

He also talked about his various relationships with the likes of Eminem, Dr. Dre, Nas, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Stevie Wonder and more.

“I met Dr. Dre three years ago. Shout out to big bro. I connected with Dre through Anderson. Paak. I was in the studio with Anderson. Paak and Dr. Dre walked in and joined. Anderson. Paak and Dre are always locked in studio. I was just talking and Dre was like ‘man I wanna hear how your music sounds like cause you look like crazy ni**a.’ And about a week or two later, he called me. He was like ‘yo, pull up to the studio.’ I think someone showed him my first LA Leakers freestyle and he was basically like ‘yo I rock with that freestyle, pull up in the studio, I wanna see what type of music you can make.’ I pulled up on them and we cooked. It was literally my 21st birthday and I had something completely different planned to do that day but I canceled everything to pull up big bro.” – said Cordae.

At one point of the interview, Peter Rosenberg asked Cordae how collaboration with Marshall on “Parables” remix from his new album From A Bird’s Eye View came about: “Eminem was just shouting me out in bunch of interviews, he was like ‘I rock with you bro.’ When I get a verse from Em, that was some cool s**t. That’s some fly s**t.” Cordae responded.

He continues: “He called me and we ended up talking for like an hour and a half, it was probably mid pandemic, we were just chopping about life, hip-hop, rap, everything for like literally two hours. And he was like ‘yo we gotta get some work in and get some music done’ and I sent them…And you know what? that was like June 2020 and I didn’t even send him a song until April 2021, I’m wild low-key. It’s been a year since we talked. I was like ‘let me just get this verse out bro’ and then I sent them ‘Parables’ and boom that’s how it came about.”

Dr. Dre might lose millions if his Super Bowl Show gets canceled due to COVID19

As TMZ reports, Dr. Dre might lose millions of dollars if his Super Bowl LVI halftime show gets canceled due to COVID19 regulations.

According to sources, Dre is spending his own money (like The Weeknd did) for the show to be unforgettable which is currently scheduled to go ahead on February 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Doctor is bringing Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige with him.

But with the pandemic unfortunately still raging, the possibility of a cancelation is not completely out of the question. Sources close to the event tell TMZ that Dre has insurance to cover that outcome, but there’s an exclusion on any COVID-19 related cancelations. The Communicable Disease Exemption, which has been present in event cancelation insurance packages long before COVID-19 hit, means the insurance will not cover a coronavirus-related cancelation.

It was also reported that the National Football League is considering replacement venues for the game, because of California’s strict indoor mask mandate but NFL spokesperson has recently said that the Super Bowl will take place in L.A. as originally planned, per NBC Los Angeles.
