Nicki Minaj brags about having Eminem on her debut album

Nicki Minaj has recently interacted with the fans on Twitter and bragged about her achievements even before she stepped into the big music industry.

One of the fans shared Nicki’s photoshoot for her debut album Pink Friday with the caption: “Ok but no one has discussed the LEGENDARY! Pink Friday shoot. Even though its not a cover shoot.”

On which, she replied: “Imagine being a fashion icon before your debut album. Imagine performing with Kanye West and Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium, no album out, imagine Drake, Eminem, Rihanna, Ye, Wili.I.Am & Natasha Bedingfield on your FIRST ALBUM. bwahahaha I have to laugh. Blessings & gratitude to my supporters.”

Pink Friday album was released on November 22, 2010, by Young Money, Cash Money and Universal Motown. After signing a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment in 2009, Minaj began planning the album that same year and work continued into 2010. Minaj enlisted a variety of producers whose efforts resulted in a primarily hip hop and pop record, which sees additional influences from R&B. The album features guest vocals from Eminem, Rihanna, Drake,, Kanye West and Natasha Bedingfield. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, selling 375,000 copies in its first week, marking the second highest sales debut for a female rapper since Lauryn Hill.

The album includes a song “Romans Revenge,” featuring Eminem produced by Swizz Beatz. Nicki raps this song as her “crazy alter ego,” Roman Zolanski, and responds to provocations from a certain queen bee. She is joined by another rapper who knows a thing or two about alter egos, Mr. Slim Shady himself.
