Wicked says Eminem can go against Lil Wayne on Verzuz battle

Wicked from the Ghetto Mafia has recently sat down with B High Atl where he listed rappers who go against Lil Wayne in a Verzuz battle and included Eminem as the main candidate.

“If we are talking one on one, my catalog against yours, Eminem can go toe to toe with Lil Wayne. Jay can go toe to toe with him. LL is another guy. LL can go against anybody. Rock The Bell album alone, every song on that album, it’s 15! Nas, you know Snoop can go at anybody. His own partner Drake too. I said Em. We can throw Kanye up there.” said Wicked

Then he continues: “If we are talking about just lyricists, I have no argument with Lil Wayne. I know some people might be upset when I say but Eminem! Em’s a bad motherf–ker. We can’t hate. You know, some people are like ‘I can’t put him in there’ but that’s bulls–t.”

“After Dre and Snoop for a moment, I don’t know their personal business, but it was a little moment that they would not f–king with each other and that’s when he came in with Em and 50 Cent. And when he came with Em like ‘Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say’ Snoop was like ‘hold on now. Snoop had to do like that for a minute and he was like ‘maybe I should talk to Dre and square this away’ so like I said, I would put Em up there, like Nas and Jay but Lil Wayne does not have to apologize for saying that. This man held down this industry for 30 plus years.” Wicked added.

Kevin Durant shares his thoughts on potential 50 Cent & Lil Wayne Verzuz battle

If 50 Cent ever made the decision to enter the Verzuz ring and compete against Lil Wayne, Kevin Durant has made up his mind that he will support 50 Cent.

The NBA star has recently sat down for new episode of The ETCs where he and co-host Eddie Gonzalez discussed the potential Verzuz battle, and Durant has 50 Cent reigning victorious.

“I would not say Fifty is going to flat-out wash Wayne. I will not say that out of respect for Wayne. But it is not going to be a clear-cut win for Wayne against 50 Cent. And these records that he has from ’02 to, let’s say, ’07.” said Durant.

Then he continues: “Fifty is — he’s one of the greatest — that five-or six-year period for G-Unit, and Fifty was incredible. It is like one of the best runs of all time in Hip-Hop. A lot of people said that Wayne would just wash 50. And we definitely disagreed on that.”

“And he still a monster. A lot of s–t and he has had a 20-year run based off of what he created back then and saw many avenues that he built off of that run and had so many pivots in his career. 50 is one of the greatest.” Kevin Durant added.

E-40 clarifies his “Busta Rhymes eats Eminem in Verzuz” comments, Ice Cube wants to do song with Eminem

Earlier this year, legendary rapper E-40 visited Jalen and Jacoby on their show where he talked about Busta Rhymes potentially facing Eminem in a Verzuz battle where he said: “I’m gonan keep it one thousand. I love Eminem. I love Busta too, to the fullest and his talent speak for himself but Busta Rhymes will eat Eminem in a Verzuz battle. I really believe that. Busta Rhymes go crazy! Because now its turned to performance type of situation. Busta Rhymes is animated. He got gas. He rap fast. He has all that. He do all the stuff Eminem do and Busta Rhymes got up-temp slash to get the party going.”

To promote their new album, Mount Westmore have recently sat down with Bootleg Kev where E-40 clarified his statement and expressed his desire to work with Slim Shady.

Bootleg Kev: For each of you guys, is there a feature that has not happened yet, for whatever reason the planets didn’t align, and you don’t have a song with them yet?

Ice Cube: Nas, Rakim. I think everybody in their emcee life wanna do a song with Rakim at some point. These are the OGs. I think I can do a good song with Busta Rhymes. Me and him can do a dope song together. These are the ones that I think about that I know we could probably do something crazy.

Too $hort: For me it was always the one answer. Me, Missy Elliott and Timbaland on the same record. I want that.

E-40: I would say Jay-Z, Nas, Q-Tip, KRS One, Missy Elliott, Trick Daddy. I’d love to do a song with Eminem. I want to address the Eminem situation. A lot of his fans thought that I was dissing him. No, I could never do that. He’s one of the greatest emcees that ever did it. Somebody had asked me who would win in a Verzuz battle between Eminem and Busta Rhymes and I said Busta Rhymes. Because Verzuz is about live performance, I was not knocking Eminem. Busta got lot of hits and he get the party going. Busta on live is crazy. That’s all I meant. I was not trying to diss. I would never diss Eminem he’s one of the greats if not the great.

Later in the interview, E-40 added that he wants to do a song with THE LOX and Ice Cube said: “Oh yeah, I wanna do a song with Eminem too.” Watch the interview below:

Ebro Darden & Peter Rosenberg discuss The Game saying he’s better than Eminem

Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg have recently discussed The Game saying he’s better than Eminem on his recent Drink Champs interview.

Ebro Darden: If we talking about Verzuz, song for song, hit for hit, I think Eminem bests The Game there. He just got more. If we are talking about rapping skills, Is Game saying he’s better than Eminem in a real rap battle?!

Peter Rosenberg: Let’s say, DJ played an instrumental, and you both went on to get after it, you think you can rap better than Eminem? That’s a very bold statement for anyone to say. Very bold. But catalog? I might argue I like Game’s catalog more than Eminem’s. That’s a fine argument to have a conversation about. Who has better albums or songs you enjoy. I’m a big fan of Game’s music but verse is tough when it comes to battle rap. Eminem is kinda on the highest level. And then when it comes to smashes, they may not be our records we all love on this show but the big smashes…

Ebro Darden: I consider Game a friend in the industry. I like him as a human being. Eminem raps better than you fam. And I love you, but I’m being honest with you. Eminem as a rapper is one of the best to rhyme. Just on patterns and styles alone. He’s got characters, he has got styles, he has got voices and patterns. He is vocabularically very good. But I will tell you what I do love here. I know The Game is about to put out some music. So, Game, I love the roll-out, my guy. Great roll-out. Big promo!

Dr. Dre teases something big related to Eminem

Dr. Dre rarely posts on social media but when he does, we expect something special to happen.

After sharing Super Bowl Halftime show trailer, Dre posted Eminem’s fast verse of “Godzilla” with the caption: “Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!” This is the same video Eminem posted two years ago when he started “Godzilla Challenge.”

Dr. Dre’s post was shared by Fredwreck on his story with the same caption. Later, the same video appeared on d.a. got that dope’s story, who is one of the the producers of “Godzilla.”

In the Super Bowl advertisement trailer, Eminem and his alter ago Slim Shady are trading/shooting bars/words at each other. The trailer and Dr. Dre’s recent post have the same essence: EMINEM VS SLIM SHADY. So, here comes three theories:

1. Eminem is going to do a Verzuz against Slim Shady cause he sees himself the only competition.

2. Eminem is dropping an album where Marshall and Slim Shady will have a war.

3. This is just a Super Bowl promotion and nothing else.

Rick Ross says Verzuz vs 50 Cent is ‘light work,’ laughs at Fifty’s earnings from BMF

Rick Ross has recently set down with GQ Magazine where he talked about 50 Cent. Check the conversations below.

Interviewer: Verzuz with 2 Chainz was good vibes, though. Would you ever do one that was a little charged up, a little more contentious and competitive like Dipset and LOX? Like… would you do one with 50 Cent?

Rick Ross: You got to ask yourself would he come and do a Verzuz with Rozay. I mean, you got to ask yourself honestly, would he come and stand next to Rozay in the arena or wherever it would be? That’s really your question. I don’t even think it’s a question of if I would do it. That shit light.

Interviewer: 50 would be light work? It’s 20 songs…

Rick Ross: Come on, now. I helped the views on his shows. On TV, he didn’t do nothing, man.

Interviewer: Have you been watching BMF, considering your own BMF connection?

Rick Ross: Man, I saw the first episode. I was just trying to support the homie Meech, the ni**as in the street. I’m a real ni**a. I could put my issues with 50]to the side. I know he may have made a quarter million off the whole season. I’m happy he made that quarter. You know that’s what he made. Why you laughing like that? And make sure you put all these details in. I’ll never let you interview me again if you take that out. Keep it. But, look I know he made 250k off the whole season, and that’s good. Tell him I said, “Congratulations.”

Interviewer: Would you act?

Rick Ross: There ain’t enough money in acting. That’s what I was just saying. Your man made 250k for the season doing that. That little season, Starz TV shit. What channel is it really?

Ross also talks about Lloyd Banks. You can check the full interview on GQ here.

Violent J from Insane Clown Posses challenges Eminem to Verzuz Battle

Insane Clown Posses’ Violent J has recently set down with No Jumper to give an update on the future of the group, slowing down the tours, taking care of their health, challenges Eminem to a Verzuz battle and much more.

“We have no problem with Eminem. Everything is super cool. Been super cool. But for the sake of freshness from Detroit, I officially challenge Eminem, right now! Eminem, let’s do Verzuz battle. Megaton huge hits versus undeniable, underground, unheard but dope s**t. Back and forth! That would be so dope. Eminem man, let’s bring it. Let’s battle for Detroit.” – says Violent J.

Last year, Violent J revealed he wants to do a song with Eminem in an interview with Spin magazine: “I do not regret Eminem beef because it was hip-hop history in Detroit. But it meant so much to us when Proof squashed the beef. He came to the office, laid down a verse for Twiztid, and gave us a shout-out. It was dope. We did not ask him, ‘Does Eminem know you’re here?’ because it did not matter. Proof coming down was enough. I would invite Eminem to come to have dinner at my house. But he is selling out stadiums all over the world, he does not really need the Gathering. But we would love to do a song with him. That would be dope.”

Charlamagne says Future, 6ixN9ne, Young Thug & Britney Spears would wash Eminem in Verzuz

On The Brilliant Idiots with Andrew Schultz, Charlamagne Tha God talks about Eminem’s chances in Verzuz battle.

“Eminem gets washed in any Verzuz bro. Em don’t have songs like that. Em can rap and we like Eminem as a rapper. Future washes Eminem in Verzuz. 6ixN9ne would wash him too, depending on the generation. Em don’t got nothing that slaps like GUMMO to these kids. Young Thug washes Eminem in a Verzuz. I can name twenty rappers that washes Eminem in Verzuz.”

“Em falls in the same category as somebody like Kendrick Lamar and I think Kendrick would perform better in Verzuz. Em doesn’t have Verzuz type songs. Imagine Verzuz where he plays ‘Stan.’ Britney Spears washes Eminem in a Verzuz bro. Britney gets Eminem f**k out of here.” – says Charlmagne

Rick Ross explains why he thinks 50 Cent can’t make a hit record anymore

Rick Ross says 50 Cent “can not make hit songs anymore” these days and does not seem interested in a Verzuz battle against him.

Rick Ross has already battled on Verzuz against 2 Chainz. However, fans have been asking Rozay to get on the series again, perhaps even squashing his beef with 50 Cent on the the stage of Verzuz. Unfortunately, this does not seem to happen.

When he was asked about a potential Verzuz battle against 50 Cent, Rick Ross replied:

Would it be really entertaining music wise, you know what I am saying? I am a real dude. 50 Cent had some huge records when he had the biggest producers and artists around him putting them together. That is why, right now, he can not make nothing to save his life. Rozay probably could not save him!
