Jalen Rose wants Eminem & Busta Rhymes to spit bars in Verzuz but David Jacoby wants ‘bigger opponent’ for Eminem

Former NBA player and sport analyst Jalen Rose and ESPN broadcaster David Jacoby has recently discussed potential Eminem and Busta Rhyme’s Verzuz battle on ESPN’s News That Matter.

“Can it be all these simple with these two gentlemen spitting BAAAARS? This totally makes sense. They have personal connection that’s not gonna make it contentious but yet they have the styles that could go on and on and on and on and on. So both of these guys doing the Verzuz makes total sense. I’m with Swizz Beatz, let’s make it happen and shout out to Dr. Dre, I’m looking forward to Super Bowl performance.” – said Jalen Rose.

“Oh yeah, I saw Super Bowl line-up and I was like ‘that’s so much better than The Weeknd or Bruno Mars or whatever.’ I can’t wit for that. But what I will say about Busta and Eminem is, recently they have been kind of matching up sort of like like-minded acts. I can’t think of two different styles that will be so different. And when I think of Eminem I think of sort of venomous but also extremely well-crafted bars that he poured over again and again and Busta has all charisma and energy, I would like to see how that would play out on stage but if I’m Eminem, I might be holding out for bigger opponent. Bigger than Busta. One time Eminem was filling up 100,000 seat arenas.” – said David Jacoby

Back in 2016, when Eminem dropped “Campaign Speech,” Jalen Rose gave Eminem a shout out: “I’ve heard it multiple times. It’s fire. Bars. He mentions Molly Qerim, and I have people hitting me up thinking that it’s some sort of diss towards me. Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of all time. He’s a fellow Detroiter. We are 100. That’s how we do it.”

Seven The General says only Eminem can stand against JAY-Z on Verzuz

Last month, JAY-Z jumped onto Alicia Keys’ Twitter Spaces room to chat about the music industry.

During the podcast, Jigga gave his thoughts on a potential Verzuz match-up by telling the audience that he believes nobody can stand alongside him on that platform’s stage.

After those words, hip-hop fans have been theorizing on who would be best to face-off against Hova. Mentioned list of artists included Kanye West and Lil Wayne but mostly, Eminem’s name surfaced on social media users’ feeds.

Detroit rapper Seven The General has recently hit Instagram to share his thoughts on the topic:

“This is unpopular opinion cause you know JAY-Z is the greatest rapper ever, to me, personally. But there is one person, that can stand on the stage and battle Hov and it ain’t who you all think. IT’S EMINEM. IT’S EM THE F**KING NEM BRO!”

Eminem Vs Jay-Z is now trending after Jay said ‘no one can stand against me on Verzuz’

Whenever Jay-Z speaks, hip-hop fans listen, and he set the record straight yesterday that no one can face him on a stage in a Verzuz battle.

Jigga said it while talking with Rob Markman and Alicia Keys on Twitter Spaces.

“No one can stand on that stage with me. It is not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me. You got to stand in front of the ‘Grammy Family Freestyle’ live? No one has ever even seen me perform that, you got to stand in front of that? That ain’t never going to happen.” said Hova.

Later, hip-hop fans on Twitter flooded the feed with Eminem Vs Jay-Z tweets and the hip-hop world is divided by two.

Violent J from Insane Clown Posses challenges Eminem to Verzuz Battle

Insane Clown Posses’ Violent J has recently set down with No Jumper to give an update on the future of the group, slowing down the tours, taking care of their health, challenges Eminem to a Verzuz battle and much more.

“We have no problem with Eminem. Everything is super cool. Been super cool. But for the sake of freshness from Detroit, I officially challenge Eminem, right now! Eminem, let’s do Verzuz battle. Megaton huge hits versus undeniable, underground, unheard but dope s**t. Back and forth! That would be so dope. Eminem man, let’s bring it. Let’s battle for Detroit.” – says Violent J.

Last year, Violent J revealed he wants to do a song with Eminem in an interview with Spin magazine: “I do not regret Eminem beef because it was hip-hop history in Detroit. But it meant so much to us when Proof squashed the beef. He came to the office, laid down a verse for Twiztid, and gave us a shout-out. It was dope. We did not ask him, ‘Does Eminem know you’re here?’ because it did not matter. Proof coming down was enough. I would invite Eminem to come to have dinner at my house. But he is selling out stadiums all over the world, he does not really need the Gathering. But we would love to do a song with him. That would be dope.”

Page Kennedy & Knxg Crooked defend Eminem after Ebro says Em doesn’t fit for Verzuz

Hip-Hop journalist @LowKeyUHTN has recently tweeted the following about Eminem’s in Verzuz battle: “Clearly these conversations are all subjective, but none of you all gonna convince me Hov is getting smoked by Kanye. OR that Eminem and Hov would be something to watch. Like, please stop. I personally don’t want to see Em do a Verzuz. However, that’s just me.”

On which, a famous hip-hop media personality, Ebro Darden replied: “Nope. I don’t think his music fits the scenario”

Page Kennedy and Kxng Crooked were quick to defend Em, as Page tweeted: “Yeah he only the greatest rapper and most successful selling artist in human existence. I’m pretty sure NO ONE wants to see that skill of hip hop display. No one would get excited about that energy, breath control, and stage presence in a VS. He probably doesn’t even get views.” While Crooked said: “If he ever decides to do it I hope he calls me to help with song choices because we’re going to come out of the gate smacking the f**k out of somebody.”

Diddy says he will do Verzuz Battle only if it’s against Dr. Dre

Couple of days ago, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs revealed that he wants to do Verzuz battle against Dr. Dre, but unfortunately it does not seem as if the California legend is interested.

Last year, there were rumors spreading around that Dr. Dre was in touch with Verzuz founders Timbaland and Swizz Beatz about a match-up, but after seeing Teddy Riley go through major sound hiccups during his Verzuz with Babyface, the Aftermath mogul allegedly decided not to participate.

Few days ago, under one of Instagram posts, Diddy commented “Only person I would do Verzuz is Dre.” You can check the screenshot and a tweet below:

Couple of days ago, on The Brilliant Idiots with Andrew Schultz, Charlamagne Tha God talked about Eminem’s chances in Verzuz battle and said the Detroit legend ‘gets washed’ by 6ixN9ne, Future, Young Thug and many more:

Future washes Eminem in Verzuz. 6ixN9ne would wash him too, depending on the generation. Em don’t got nothing that slaps like GUMMO to these kids. Young Thug washes Eminem in a Verzuz. I can name twenty rappers that washes Eminem in Verzuz.” said the radio personality.

In the comment section on “Rap” Instagram page, Tory Lanez didn’t agree to Charlamagne and showed support to Eminem: “Stan, My Name Is, My Band, Purple Pills, Lose Yourself, Just Lose It, Guilty Conscience, Don’t Push Me, Superman and etc. Cuz trippin’.
