Kendrick Lamar has just made his version of Eminem’s “Kim” song

Kendrick Lamar has just released his 5th solo studio album called “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.” It’s Lamar’s first full-length album release since the “Black Panther” soundtrack in 2018, and his first solo studio album since “Damn.” in 2017.

The album includes a song titled “We Cry Together,” featuring Taylour Paige and produced by Bēkon, J.LBS and The Alchemist. It is an eighth song on the album and it sees Oklama and Taylor Paige take opposite sides in a couple’s dispute which turned into ugly situation.

The song with its concept is very much like Eminem’s 2000 song “Kim” from The Marshall Mathers LP, produced by Bass Brothers. Some time, in social media, “Kendrick made his version of Eminem’s Kim” was trending which inspired the headline of our title.

Tony Yayo has recently sat down with DJ VLAD for an interview where the two talked about the history of G-Unit.

At one point of the interview, Yayo talked about Eminem as well.

Eminem is my top five emcees. He’s slept on. [At that time The Marshall Mathers LP had already sold like twenty million copies] but for me it was just one verse “Renegade” with him and Jay-Z. He shows his rapping capability that for the hood. Before I knew Eminem or anything, it was like “Renegade” made me a fan of Eminem and I always say that.” said Yayo.

Vince Staples explains why he prefers to work at regular job than be a superstar like Eminem

Vince Staples dropped by the neighborhood to talk with Big Boy about where he has been for the past few years, his upcoming Netflix show which is called “The Vince Staples Show” and his new “Ramona Park Broke My Heart” album.

Plus, the hip-hop artist spoke about Eminem, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Norf Norf, his Sprite commercial, and what he discovered during his time away from music.

At one point of the interview, Vince Staples brought Eminem up as an example to answer a question about if he enjoys doing ‘music business.’

Put it like this… If I had to choose between to be super successful and not being able to go outside like Eminem type person and working a regular job, I’d be working at the regular job. When you look at people like that and you listen to their music and see just how they interact and the kind of people they are… they are not superficial. Especially when you are talking about Eminem. He is not a superficial person. He is not somebody who cares about that element… he just really loves hip hop music.” – said Vince

Benzino slams his daughter Coi Leray for defending Eminem

The public feud between Benzino and his daughter Coi Leray continues.

Benzino, who did not look happy about Eminem’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2022, was evidently bothered by his daughter’s defense of Detroit legend.

Shortly after Benzino’s little twitter rant, his daughter fired back: “I’m about love, equality, respect and forgiveness. I have nothing against Eminem, 25 years of my life all I know is he a very talented artist and actor! (8 Mile was great) Let’s build bridges and get over them before you burn the bridge and burn with it.”

Zino replied with now-deleted tweet: “As far as the lil parrot who keeps talking about love and forgiveness. Well there’s this word called ‘loyalty’ and a commandment that says ‘Honor thy Mother and Father’ As far as burning bridges, there no bridge bigger than the one you burnt with your own blood.”

In another deleted tweet, Benzino said: “One day you will realize that the people in these blogs comment section do not really care about you like I do & your label execs will have you sell your soul to make millions. I LOVE & ADORE my only daughter but I will just have to do it from a distance.”

Later, the former Source magazine owner acknowledged Eminem’s induction: “Listen we all know that Eminem is a great artist and sold million of units and deserves any award coming to him, all I’m saying is let’s not forget the legends who paved the way before him. The RRHOF has to recognize everyone if it truly represents Hip Hop.

Logic references Eminem in a new song with Russ

Logic and Atlanta artist Russ use “Therapy Music,” — the third single off of Logic’s 2022 album titled Vinyl Days,— as a way to unleash everything on their minds.

The two go back-to-back with long verses of just bars with no chorus, rapping about everything life has thrown at them in a therapeutic release.

Logic’s verse includes lots of reference, including Eminem. At the end of his verse, he raps: “Still at the top, where I been at? Eight Miles from the surface of Earth, feelin’ Infinite.”

The line is clearly a reference to Eminem’s Oscar-winning movie “8 Mile” and his debut album, called “Infinite.”

Dr. Dre reveals his new favorite rapper by sharing his L.A. Leakers freestyle

Dr. Dre rarely posts on social media but when he does, it’s a special moment!

It’s the most special moment for west-coast rapper who goes by the name of Symba whose freestyle suddenly appeared on Dr. Dre’s Instagram page with the caption: “One of my new favorites.”

Symba responded back with the screenshot of Dr. Dre’s post, saying: “I’ve been learning from “The Goat” lately… Dr. Dre “One Of My New Favorites” WOW! “RESULTS TAKE TIME” coming soon. Love you Doc.”

Royce 5’9″ also showed support by commenting “electric plug” emoji and Aftermath producer Dem Jointz replied with fire emojis.

At 13 years old, Symba was known for being a talented local basketball player in the Bay Area, his hometown. However, he picked up another skill around the same time.

In 2017, he signed a deal with Columbia Records, but when things didn’t work out there because of a staff overhaul, he went independent in 2018. A year later, he landed another deal with a new label, signing with Atlantic Records in 2019. Capping off that year, he delivered the strong project Don’t Run From R.A.P.

Now the young rapper is dropping a new project, titled “RESULTS TAKE TIME.”

New book reveals how Tyrese Gibson made Dr. Dre lose $200 million in Apple & Beats deal

Back in 2014, Beats Electronics – the joint venture with Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine – was purchased by Apple but when news of the partnership leaked, it cost 200 million dollars and Tyrese Gibson is reportedly to blame.

In an excerpt obtained by iMore from the NY Times reporter Tripp Mickle’s new book, titled “After Steve: How Apple Became a Trillion-Dollar Company and Lost Its Soul,” the legendary producer and Tyrese Gibson’s infamous video where Dre declares to be “the first billionaire in Hip-Hop” caused Apple to cut $200 million from the initial $3.2 billion agreement.

In the excerpt we read: “It was a sum that Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre could barely fathom. As the lawyers worked through final details, Iovine summoned the leadership team of Beats to his home near Beverly Hills. He told everyone that they were on the cusp of finalizing a massive deal. The only thing that could spoil it would be for word of the deal to leak.”

“Iovine warned his team, “Whatever you do, don’t talk about this,” and even told Dre, “Remember that scene in Goodfellas where Jimmy tells the guys, ‘Don’t buy any furs. Don’t buy any cars. Don’t get showy’? Don’t move.”

However, the next morning, Diddy apparently called Jimmy Iovine informing him that Tyrese publicly shared a video of Dre celebrating the deal and his newly-minted status.

“At 2:00 a.m., Iovine got a call from Puff Daddy, who was screaming that Dre and Tyrese, a rapper, were talking about the deal in a Facebook video. Iovine pulled up the video and cringed as he saw Tyrese bragging about being drunk on Heineken in a recording studio. When word of the video reached to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, he summoned Iovine and Dre to Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino. He invited them into a conference room for a private conversation. Iovine was anxious and afraid that Cook was going to kill the deal. He told the music executives that he was disappointed and wished that Dre’s social media outburst hadn’t happened but said that the video hadn’t shaken his conviction that buying Beats was right for Apple.”
