Symba says he’s better rapper than Eminem

Oakland native rapper Symba, who was cosigned by Dr. Dre last year by posting his freestyle on Instagram with the caption: “One of my new favorites,” has recently sat down on Revolt where he talked about Eminem.

“I respect Eminem on a level as a man but as a rapper…I feel like I could name five better rappers. The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show. It’s fire. It’s fire but you want my honest opinion? Yes, I’m better than Eminem.” said Symba.

“Anybody can rhyme words. What are you saying? Hey, the girl that’s yelling, rap me an Eminem verse! She got quiet.” Symba added.

At 13 years old, Symba was known for being a talented local basketball player in the Bay Area, his hometown. However, he picked up another skill around the same time.

In 2017, he signed a deal with Columbia Records, but when things didn’t work out there because of a staff overhaul, he went independent in 2018. A year later, he landed another deal with a new label, signing with Atlantic Records in 2019.

50 Cent reacts after Ed Sheeran performs acoustic version of “In Da Club” in LA

Ed Sheeran’s acoustic rendition of “In Da Club” received acclaim from 50 Cent, but his supporters strongly disagree.

The British mega pop star opened up for John Mayer at his Heart and Armor Foundation concert in Los Angeles on Tuesday (September 19, 2023), where he delved into a series of folk covers during his set — one of which included 50 Cent’s arguably biggest hit in hip-hop history, “In Da Club,” from Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.

The Queens, New York legend gave his stamp of approval to the guitar-driven rendition of his party-starting tune by reposting a video of Sheeran’s performance to his Instagram.

“Ed Sheeran right now in LA at the John Mayer concert Killing s–t ! BOOM,” Fif wrote in the caption.

His Final Lap tour mate Busta Rhymes was also impressed by what he heard as he left a series of fire emojis in the comments section of Fiddy’s Instagram post.

Damian Lillard picks Eminem as ‘worst artist’ from an iconic Hip-Hop list

Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard recently proclaimed himself as the best athlete rapper of all time. Claiming to be a better artist than his biggest competition in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal, Lillard revealed a range of details about his favorite artists.

Speaking on the BACKONFIGG podcast, Ep:108, Lillard was also asked to select two of his worst rappers, from a lineup of the best artists of all time that included: Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Nas, Kanye West, Drake, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, J. Cole and 50 Cent. He ended up choosing the likes of Kanye West and 50 Cent, after quite a bit of struggle.

Lillard claimed that nobody else takes music as seriously as he does. Having recently released the Dame Dolla album in August 2023, Lillard claimed that he was making a lot of music, and claimed to be taking the art more seriously than Shaquille O’Neal.

Regardless, when asked to choose his two worst rappers from a list of some of the best rappers of all time, Lillard was left confused. He initially asked whether he should choose on the basis of music, or sheer ability to rap. Lillard was told that he simply needs to decide which two rappers will end up “going away”:

“Like the actual ability to rap, the ability to rap, or their actual music? If I’m saying the ability to rap, two gotta go, I am gonna say Kanye and 50 Cent. Two in general, I am gonna say, I mean Eminem one of them for me. I am gonna say Eminem, and… that’s tough. I like some Eminem songs but I ain’t listening to bunch of Eminem songs. ‘Stan’ is one of my favorite songs ever. I listen to all of them on the list, regularly, but I ain’t gonna listen to bunch of Eminem as much as I respect his s–t.” said Damian Lillard

Jeremy Renner compared to Eminem at SoFi Stadium during 49ers & Rams game

Months after a horrific accident, actor Jeremy Renner cheered on the 49ers as they beat the Rams, and appeared on the jumbotron compared to Eminem, while “My Name Is” was played in the background.

Jeremy Renner appeared in good spirits as he cheered on pitchside at an NFL game in Los Angeles on Sunday, nine months after he nearly lost his life during a horrific snowplow accident. The actor broke more than 30 bones and suffered blunt chest trauma after being dragged under a snow plough on New Year’s Day.

The Hollywood leading man couldn’t stop smiling as his team, The San Francisco 49ers, claimed a victory against the Los Angeles Rams at the SoFi stadium.

He opened up about the accident during an interview with Diane Sawyer in April, admitting he was “triggered by the accident,” but has since shifted “the narrative of being victimized, of making a mistake or anything else.”

“Crack A Bottle” is the first single from Eminem’s sixth studio album Relapse, this song went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Performance by a Duo or Group in 2010.

Kxng Crooked suggests what Eminem & Jay-Z should do together to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop

The 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop is the most epic year in Hip Hop history!

Celebrations are being held all around the world to uplift and honor every aspect of Hip Hop culture. From concerts and tours to new albums, mixtapes, singles, rap battles, competitions and exhibitions, all of your favorite DJs, MCs, Breakdancers, Beatboxers, Graffiti artists and more show up and show out to make this golden anniversary of Hip Hop culture the most extraordinary year yet.

from the celebration and rightfully so. No new music, no tours, no award shows from the two hip-hop icons so far in 2023.

“It’s fascinating to watch the 50th anniversary of hip-hop play out this year and Eminem and Jay Z distance themselves from any type of celebration or live performance celebrating the culture. Watching they supporters justify they actions is also fascinating.” said one of the users on Twitter.

On which someone replied: “It’s really not our business what they do. Neither have released an album, they both get criticized constantly on this app and in the media when they do release music .. they both are so large in life that they could overshadow the celebration and concerts.”

From there, Kxng Crooked jumped into the conversation: “I welcome the overshadowing.. Show the world how big our beloved culture is! They have 3 months left to pop out.”

Then he added another tweet: “All they have to do is walk out and perform Renegade and go home.” You can check the tweets in the video below:
