Bang Em Smurf says Eminem was ready to go in a gunfight against Suge Knight for 50 Cent

Queens native and former G-Unit member Bang Em Smurf has has recently talked about a time when he and Eminem almost went into a gunfight against Suge Knight.

In an interview with 9 Side Entertainment he said once, while recording the music video with 50 Cent’s “In The Club” single, the Death Row founder pulled up and was ready to go.

According to Smurf, he was getting a haircut on the opposite side from where the crew was when Sha Money XL told him that Suge Knight had arrived on the set with some goons.

“I had to shake that off me and ran back like ‘I’m about to kill this ni**aa,” So I ran inside and said, ‘Yo, Suge outside. What you want me to do? Blow his head off?” said Smurf.

“I know if I killed him I would have been like five years. That’s nothing, and I would have been played like I was scared for my life.”

However, 50 Cent told him to hold it down. Then Bang Em Smurf returned to where Suge Knight was, and he said to him, “What’s popping?” And guess what? Eminem accompanied him with his bulletproof vest on.

“Eminem came back with the vest. Eminem was outside. Shout out to Eminem. Dre was not outside, 50 Cent was not outside but Em was outside. Shout out to Eminem, I love that ni**a. He gave us our first deal. Proof is my man. Rest in peace to Proof.” Smurf added.

Eminem officially releases music video for “Crack A Bottle” ft. Dr. Dre & 50 Cent

“Crack a Bottle” is a song by Eminem, featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. The song was released as the lead single from Eminem’s album Relapse back in 2009.

On February 12, 2009, the song broke the first week digital sales record with 418,000 downloads, topping the previous record held by “Live Your Life” by T.I. featuring Rihanna and the song won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2010. “Crack A Bottle” is also one of Eminem’s five No.1 hit songs on Billboard Hot 100.

Now the song will be included in the second installment of Eminem’s greatest hits album called ‘Curtain Call 2′ which releases this Friday.

During an interview for MTV, 50 Cent originally told that there were plans to make an animated music video for “Crack a Bottle”, which was to be shot along with a music video for 50 Cent’s song “I Get It In”. On February 25, Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg posted on his blog a still frame from the music video illustrating a homeless person holding a bottle wrapped in a brown bag. According to Rosenberg, it is directed by Syndrome and was planned to be released within a couple of weeks. The music video was playing on TV in Eminem’s music video “3 a.m.”, which has been directed by Syndrome as well.

On May 7, 2009, an unfinished version of the video was released via TheRelapse.com, featuring Eminem’s verse and chorus. Later during the same day, 50 Cent’s rapped verse of the video was released via ThisIs50.com as well. This was added to the unfinished video on therelapse.com. A month later, on June 7, 2009, Cashis posted a link on Twitter to the full video in which he makes a cameo appearance. The music video portrays each rappers’ style; Eminem’s chaotic style, Dr. Dre’s West Coast style, and 50 Cent’s more club oriented style. None of the performers are featured in the video.

Today, Eminem released the video officially. You can watch it below:

Eminem’s “Curtain Call 2” album cover sparks new theories

Eminem has announced the release of his next compilation album, Curtain Call 2. The follow-up to Slim Shady’s 2005 greatest-hits collection will drop on August 5, 2022 and, according to Eminem’s official website, it will feature one new track to be “revealed in the coming weeks.”

The rest of the album will be made up of songs we’ve already heard. Including releases dating back to 2009’s “Relapse,” Curtain Call 2 won’t only be limited to Eminem’s solo work. The album will also pull from his guest appearances and collabs, including “The King and I,” which he recently dropped with CeeLo Green for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.

So far, the only other song that’s confirmed is “From the D 2 the LBC,” the stoner song he has recently made with Snoop Dogg.

While you wait for the rest of the tracklist, feel free to gaze upon the album’s pinball machine-themed artwork below. There’s a lot to take in — including numbers that can be flipped upside down to create words like “BOOBSS,” HELLISH, “HE’S ILL,” and “AS*HOL.” Ah, truly a win for anyone who had access to a calculator in middle school.

On the cover, there is also written “Game Over” which fans think it might be a hint to a disstrack towards The Game.

Eminem & Snoop Dogg’s “From The D 2 The LBC” debuts on Billboard Hot 100 chart

Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s “From The D 2 The LBC” track entered into US Billboard Hot 100 charts at number 72.

The song’s title pays homage to the two legendary rappers’ respective cities, Detroit, Michigan, and Long Beach, California. It supposed to be included in Eminem’s upcoming “Curtain Call 2” album.

It marks Eminem’s 94th song into Billboard Hot 100. Em also has 5 No.1 hits and and 22 Top 10 hits.

By debuting the new single on Hot 100, Eminem has now charted at least one song for 14 consecutive years on the Billboard Hot 100 (2009-2022).

Eminem wishes Royce 5’9″ a happy birthday, teases new Bad Meets Evil

Royce Da 5’9″ has released his Eminem-assisted track “Caterpillar” on Royal. The track calls for the new generation of rappers to respect the artists who came before them. King Green delivers on the chorus, and the rap opens with words from legendary poet Gil Scott-Heron.

Royce described the song as: “The basic theme of the song is, ‘Don’t disrespect the caterpillar to praise the butterfly.‘ Marshall falls a little bit more into that category than I do, but both of us are caterpillars. A lot of times, you’ll praise these guys but gotta tear us down…But where do you think his style came from?”

The song was released on May 3, 2018, off Book Of Ryan album.

Yesterday, Royce turned 45 years old and Eminem wished him a happy birthday by retweeting the “Caterpillar” NFT post. In the caption, he wrote: “Happy bday Royce Da 5’9″! What we doin to top this?” Implying the two might get back to the studio for another Bad Meets Evil song or album.

Couple of months ago, in an interview with Smoothvega, Royce revealed he’s ready for new Bad Meets Evil project whenver Eminem calls: “I can not say that, I can speak for Preemo, I do not speak for Marshall Mathers, but I am open to another Bad Meets Evil album. I have not seen him the whole pandemic. I just talked to him, we have not seen each other for a while. I am due to see him soon, I will probably see him within the next couple weeks. I just wanna see him, I want to hug him. And then I think… he is always working on s**t, So I wanna hear whatever it is he is working on. If he is doing the album like whatever I do not know what the f**k he is doing. I wanna hear whatever that is.”
