NLE Choppa puts Eminem in his top 5 rappers of all time

At just 20 years old, NLE Choppa is one of the biggest names in the hip-hop game right now, so what better way to launch the inaugural episode of the new Amazon x AMP and Nick Cannon collab show, titled The Daily Cannon.

The “Slut Me Out” rapper stopped through to chop it up with Nick Cannon and the Daily Cannon crew featuring Courtney Bee, Masononthemic, DJ Abby De La Rosa, and Freeze about his new single, being consistent with a more than healthy lifestyle, why he’s vying for the love of actress Meagan Good, and of course, his hip-hop Mount Rushmore.

With no question, NLE includes the late legend 2Pac, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, and choosing Lil Wayne over Nick’s Eminem selection but still including him in his top 5.

Tupac, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Eminem. With Eminem, I feel like, a lot of people from my community is probably not preached upon to be an Eminem fan but I don’t think people realize the statistics of how many white people wanted to rap after him. Eminem did that.” – said NLE Choppa.

Mark Batson names Eminem song that has one of the illest flows of all time

Mark Batson, who is a genius behind Eminem’s Encore and Relapse albums, has recently interacted with the fan on Twitter.

Legends Will Never Die twitter page shared a post dedicated to 14-year anniversary of Eminem’s “3AM” single from Relapse album: “14 years ago today, Eminem released 3am as the 3rd single off his 6th album ℞ELAPSƎ under his own label Shady Records in conjunction with Aftermath Entertainment alongside Interscope and Web Entertainment.” Mark Batson retweeted the tweet with the caption: “One of the illest flows of all time.”

“3 A.M.” was released as the third single Relapse. The song is produced by Dr. Dre with Mark Batson behind the keyboards.

In the song, Eminem raps from the perspective of a serial killer questioning his own sanity and recalling a string of murders. The song is said to be closer to the overall sound of the album, as opposed to the poppy, fun-poking “We Made You”. It’s meant to be an ode to his fascination with horror movie characters such as Freddy Krueger and Hannibal Lecter. It features Eminem presumably rapping from the perspective of his alter ego Slim Shady, using both internal and multi-syllabic rhyme schemes in his three verses.

“3 A.M.” debuted at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, selling 66,000 downloads in its first week of release. You can revisit the single below:

Paul Rosenberg replies to a fan about his favorite track from Eminem’s “Relapse” album

Eminem‘s manager and long-time friend Paul Rosenberg has recently interacted with the fan on Twitter.

One of the users asked his followers to choose between Eminem’s two tracks from “Relapse” album: “Stay Wide Awake” or “Same Song & Dance.” On which, Rosenberg replied: “Stay Wide Awake … duh!”

Relapse is the sixth solo studio album by Eminem. It was released on May 15, 2009, through Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records. The album serves as Eminem’s return to original material since Encore (2004), following a four-year hiatus from recording due to his writer’s block and an addiction to prescription sleeping medication. Recording sessions for the album took place between 2007 and 2009 at several recording studios, and Dr. Dre, Mark Batson, and Eminem handled production.

Relapse is a concept album that revolves around horror, drug rehabilitation and relapse. A return of his Slim Shady alter ego, Eminem stated that the album’s theme was more reminiscent of The Slim Shady LP (1999) and The Marshall Mathers LP (2000).

One of the most anticipated albums of 2009, Relapse debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 608,000 copies in its first week. It also reached number one in twelve other countries.

Millyz raps his favorite Eminem Verse: Watch

Cambridge, Massachusetts-born rapper Millyz, who has recently released his version of Eminem’s ‘Stan,‘ sat down on Thisis50 where he rapped his favorite Slim Shady verse.

When asked to spit his favorite verse, Millyz started rapping the first verse of Eminem’s “Rock Bottom,” from The Slim Shady LP album.

I feel like I’m walking a tight rope
Without a circus net
I’m popping percasete
I’m a nervous wreck
I deserve respect
But I work a sweat for this worthless check
Bout to burst this tech, at somebody to reverse this debt
Minimum wage got my adrenaline caged
Full of venom and rage
Especially when I’m engaged
And my daughter’s down to her last diaper
That’s got my ass hyper
I pray that God answers, maybe I’ll ask nicer
Watching ballers while they flossing in their pathfinders
These overnight stars becoming autograph signers
We’ll all gone blow up and leave the past behind us
Along with the small fry’s and average half pinters
While playa haters turn bitch like they have vaginas
‘Cause we see them dollar signs and let the cash blind us
Money will brainwash you and leave your ass mindless
Snakes slither in the grass spineless
That’s rock bottom..

Redman shares throwback picture with Eminem

Legendary hip-hop artist, Redman, has recently shared a throwback picture with Eminem, asking fans to name the year that the photo was taken. “Who knows whut Year ?? @Eminem” he wrote in the caption.

Eminem and Redman collaborated on the 2000 track “Off The Wall,” which appeared on the official soundtrack for Nutty Professor II: The Klumps starring Eddie Murphy.

Slim Shady also routinely refers to Redman as one of his favorite rappers. In June 2020, YouTuber NoLifeShaq got Eminem to rattle off his top picks for best MCs and the Wu-Tang Clan affiliate was right up there with Lil Wayne, JAY-Z and 2Pac.

“For me, in no particular order,” he tweeted at the time. “Toss up between wayne, pac, royce, jay, redman, treach, g. rap, biggie & king crook.” He later added LL Cool J, Nas, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, André 3000, Rakim and Big Daddy Kane.

Yelawolf recalls getting a call from Eminem in a new song

Last month, Jelly Roll has shared information regarding his eagerly awaited new album, titled WHITSITT CHAPEL. The album, which is due out on June 2, will have 13 tracks and be titled after the church the Antioch native grew up attending.

“This album is about growth and gratitude happening in my life. I wanted to create a project that felt hopeful. I believe the worst feeling a person can have is feeling hopeless or worthless. This is therapeutic music. Real music for real people with real problems.” Jelly Roll shared in a statement.

WHITSITT CHAPEL serves as Jelly Roll’s debut full-length country record via BMG/Stoney Creek Records. Among the tracks featured will be his current singles, “Need A Favor” and “Unlive,” featuring former Shady Records artist, Yelawolf.

In the song, Yelawolf remembers getting a call from Eminem to offer him a record deal.

I was in Alabama at the trailer park
Bangin’ my head on the wall
Before I could buy my little girl a doll
Before Eminem ever gave me a call
I had that feeling that you have
But I hit that roof and that life flashed
Look around, sit down and write that
And Yelawolf took off on white trash

Nick Cannon says he won battle against Eminem, names common mistake him & MGK made

Nick Cannon has recently sat down with Bootleg Kev where he talked about living with 12 kids, the Eminem beef, quitting AGT, Wild N’ Out, Prank Wars and more.

At one point of the interview, he was asked if he ever regretted bringing out his Wild N’ Out boys into the beef with Eminem, on which Nick replied: “No. I thought that was amazing. Your attention is my currency baby, keep it going. All those guys are a lot more popular now than they were before they started it. That was just for the media. I was just trying to get people to watch Wild N’ Out.”

Then he continues: “I think I won the battle. If somebody picks a fight but does not show up to the fight…I was the one who was responding. He was on Fat Joe’s record. I love Eminem, he started f–king with me and then ran off like a little b–ch. It was all sport man. I love Em. But I won the battle. He did not respond!”

In the third diss record, I started bringing race into it. That’s why I went too far. I should have stopped at the second record. I was planning putting Benzino on the next record [Laughs]…But we all know Eminem is the GOAT. He definitely a top 5. But I think Drake is coming for the spot. Drake is better song maker than majority in the music industry. If we talking about punchline, bar for bar and lyricism, I’mma go with Drake. Eminem is the king of flow. Eminem is great storyteller. Might be one of my favorite story tellers in hip-hop. Eminem is probably number one storyteller cause ain’t nobody topping “Stan” and “Lose Yourself.”

“I was in Detroit last week with my man Royce. It’s all love. I think MGK made same mistake that I made. We were probably too excited and overzealous that we got to battle with the GOAT. We got to get in the ring with one of the best to ever do it. I was so excited. I was like ‘OH S–T, HE PAID ATTENTION!’ And the whole goal was to get attention.” – Nick Cannon added.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman compares himself to Eminem

The AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, has a prominent place on each episode of Dynamite. Even though MJF occasionally appears more than once a night, he is always paid attention while he is present. There isn’t much fans can do about his undeniable talent, even though some may not like that fact.

Sean Sapp of Fightful recently brought up Eminem’s group D12 during an interview with Maxwell Jacob Friedman. He cracked a joke about their song “My Band.” Despite not having heard of D12, MJF nonetheless compared Eminem’s status in that rap group to his place on the AEW roster.

“Why would they [know the other members of the band] because nobody cares about the rest, Eminem’s the lead singer of the band. That’s why when people get upset that MJF is all over the f*cking show, get over it, I’m the lead singer of the band. Nobody’s tuning in to AEW to watch anyone else.” MJF said.
