Bubba Sparxxx Wants Eminem Collab Despite Infamous ‘G.O.A.T.’ Jab

Bubba Sparxxx recently opened up on the Drink Champs podcast about his admiration for Eminem, proving that even harsh lyrics can be seen as a badge of honor.

Reflecting on past namedrops, Bubba remarked, “I would love to do a record with Eminem. I always wanted to. In this ‘G.O.A.T.’ song, he said some pretty unflattering things about me and Paul Wall but I took it as a complimentary diss.”

Rather than harboring bad blood over the unreleased track’s stray shots, the Southern rap veteran chooses to see Eminem’s mention as a nod of recognition within hip-hop culture.

In the song GOAT, Eminem raps: “See, you hardly ever do hear anyone even bringin’ up Paul Wall’s white / ‘Cause lyrically he doesn’t pose a threat to anyone, see, he’s just aight / And Bubba Sparxxx, he just won’t write because he’s so caught up in that snow white / That Timbaland can’t even get him in the studio, he’s so gone off that coke, right? / And it’s so sad, ‘cause he’s dope, right?
