Stat Quo on how he messed up relationship with Eminem Posted on February 8, 2026 By Remy Gelenidze In one of the recent episodes of 3rd Verse Podcast, former Shady Records artist Stat Quo talked how he messed up the relationship with Eminem.“I made mistakes when I was in Shady Records. Eminem wanted to put out particular single, it was called “Dance On It.” Eminem wrote the hook and made the beat. And I told Em, “yeah, we could use this as a single. I’ll put it out if you give me a million dollars and you rap on it.” Em got so mad, he stormed out of the studio. And I remember Dre was like ‘why would you say that?’ I was like ‘was that wrong?’ He’s like ‘yeah! that’s wrong!’ It was over. Em was like, ‘f–k it, I’m done. I tried to help you.'” said Stat Quo. Then he continued: “I said it cause I didn’t like the song. But I messed up for say that. I was not thinking that through. When someone who sold quadrillion albums tells you that something should be a single, you should be quiet and that should be a single cause had that come out, Marshall would championed it.”You can watch the interview below: RELATED ARTICLESEminem and Shade 45 mourn the death of Lord SearMarch 12, 2026Mohamad Salah on why Eminem’s music plays at Liverpool’s training center all the timeFebruary 8, 2026Flavor Flav: Eminem is the greatest rapper of all timeFebruary 7, 2026Will Poulter says he bought Eminem’s album on his first ever paycheckJanuary 26, 2026Charlie Puth names Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady” one of the greatest songs of all timeJanuary 22, 2026Stat Quo recalls Eminem storiesJanuary 16, 2026Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on Threads (Opens in new window) Threads Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn EminemStat Quo
