Eminem is preparing new music for this Friday and the UFC legend Conor McGregor is the latest celebrity to show support to Detroit icon.

A little less than a month after announcing his 12th solo studio album titled “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce),” the follow-up for his 2020 album “Music To Be Murdered By,” Eminem has revealed that its first single “Houdini” will arrive tomorrow, Friday. Even though some fans think it’s an album not a single, that seems not to be a case.

Couple of days ago, in a post on social media with caption “Please do not try this at home. Or anywhere else,” Marshall FaceTimed with magician David Blaine and asked him for “help with something.” “I was wondering, how far can we go with this magic? Like, can we do like a stunt or something?” Em asked Blaine, who drinks a glass of wine and then proceeds to bite off the rim of it. “Well for my last trick, I’m going to make my career disappear,” says Eminem, while clicking off of the conversation.

Little is known about Eminem‘s upcoming album, which he previously said would release this summer. “Houdini” would be the first offering, and a short clip of the instrumental seemingly plays at the end of the clip that were shared on all of his social media platforms.

While Em has kept details under wraps for “The Death of Slim Shady,” his longtime collaborator and mentor Dr. Dre let a few details slip earlier this year. In March, the hip-hop icon from Compton went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where he revealed that Eminem was working on a new album. He also shared that he contributed to several songs on the project, and was planning to hear the album for the first time the day after his TV appearance.

In April, Em announced “The Death of Slim Shady” with a Detroit Murder Files crime show teaser that aired during the Detroit NFL Draft 2024. Earlier this month, he placed a fake obituary in the Detroit Free Press to say goodbye to Slim Shady, who has long been his alter ego. A week later, Marshall shared a cryptic tweet that included a photo of a text message with the vanishing effect revealing the words, “…and for my last trick!” The date on the message was May 31, 2024 at 12 a.m. As it turn out and as we expected, it’s a release date for a new single “Houdini.” Check Eminem’s post below:
