50 Cent reacts to new lawsuit accusing Jay-Z & Diddy of sexual assault

50 Cent reacts weighs in on a new lawsuit accusing Diddy and Jay-Z of sexual assault with an Instagram post that questions the biggest sporting event in the United States, Super Bowl.

According to a re-filed lawsuit, Jay-Z and Diddy are accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000. Jay-Z immediately denied the claims and called the lawsuit an “extortion” attempt in a statement. “My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!! These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!”

After the news broke, Fif posted, “Ok, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? I’m just asking for a friend!” The post arrives after 50 has been frequently asking about Jay-Z’s whereabouts during Diddy’s legal drama in interviews. Jay-Z and 50 Cent have been rivals since 50 dropped “How To Rob” in 1999. Over the summer, 50 revealed that he and Diddy have never been friends and he has never attended a Diddy party. 50 has been trolling Diddy since the mogul’s legal drama began in 2023.

During his interview with Cam’ron, 50 shared that Jay-Z is the reason he wasn’t originally a part of the promotions for his 2022 Super Bowl performance. “The NFL has no issues with me,” 50 told Cam. “This is why I was saying I knew what ol’ boy [Jay-Z] was doing with the Super Bowl. He was doing some wild sh–, Cam, because he was saying to Em and them that the NFL had the issue with me. And I’m like, ‘Well, what’s the issue? Why don’t they have an issue when I’m becoming a partner with the actual teams? But they have an issue with my performance? It makes no sense.’”

Angry Nicki Minaj shows love to Eminem following NFL & JAY-Z snubbing Lil Wayne over Kendrick Lamar

Couple of days ago, Kendrick Lamar was announced as the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show headliner (Sunday, September 8, 2024), and part of the hip-hop world spoke up about Lil Wayne being overlooked with the 2025 big game being in his hometown of New Orleans.

Considering the year K. Dot has had with the massive success of his Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” the decision wasn’t necessarily a surprising one. However, according to some hip-hop artists, Weezy should have been chosen to headline the show—especially since it’s in Wayne’s hometown.

Wayne’s longtime collaborator Nicki Minaj has also expressed her disappointment in NFL and lashed out on JAY-Z (who is adviser on selecting artists for major NFL performances) on X (formerly twitter. She also showed love to Eminem for not doing 2022 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show without 50 Cent: “Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego. Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!!!!!! THE GOAT?!!!!!!!!!!! Nola what’s good?!!!!!! Eminem stood firm on having 50Cent come out. A white man. S–t sad. House NI-GER TINGZ. but it’s GOOD FI DEM!!!!!!! No loyalty ? Welp. then ni-gaz will keep son’ing you!!!!! #DTLR #GagCityDC LMFAOOOOOOOOOO GOODAZ FI DEL GAL U AH GOODAZ FI DEM.” she tweeted.

Nicki appreciates the fact that a white man (Eminem) is helping his black friend (50 Cent) but a black man (JAY-Z) is not doing the same for a black man (Lil Waye). As you might know, Eminem refused to perform at the 2022 Super Bowl without 50 Cent.

Then she continued in the next tweet: “And btw, you don’t know the half of what lil Wayne has done for me & others. Wayne had drake & I on his tour w/no papers signed. He was on all of my mixtapes w/no papers signed. This man has literally changed the FACE of hip hop. The hair too. IYKYK. He inspired so many to tat their faces & get locks. Inspired your faves to wanna be a great MC. he never was in this for the money. It’s always been for the love of music. #GagCityDC TONIGHT #DTLR.” Check the tweets below.

Royce 5’9″ responds fans who claim Eminem throws shots at Jay-Z on “TOBEY”

Eminem returned on Tuesday with his second single “Tobey,” featuring Big Sean and BabyTron from The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) album alongside fellow Detroit rappers Big Sean and BabyTron. In the song, Eminem appeared to address Billboard ranking him at No. 5 on the list of Greatest Rappers of All-Time, which was published last year.

In the song, Em raps: “Ain’t feelin’ your top five favorite rappers (Woo) / So I know they ’bout to be pissed at me (Why?) / But this, to me, is a mystery / How rappers I’ve already ripped could be (What?) / Higher up on a list than me (Ha) / Yet here I sit on your list though at five (Hm), which still was fine / But just know inside, to me, that s–t’s hilarious.”

It’s unclear who Slim Shady is targeting, but the four rappers ahead of him on the Billboard’s ranking (from four to one) are 2Pac, Nas, Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z. Eminem collaborated with all of them but he’s definitely not talking about 2Pac for a several reasons. Eminem and Nas collaborated on “EPMD 2” and Eminem and Kendrick Lamar on “Love Game” and I think Shady did outshine them on a track but the general assumption is not what I think. As far as Jay-Z, the two collaborated on “Renegade” in the early 2000s and the general assumption is that Eminem murdered Hov in his own s–t.

Right before these lines, Em raps: “Y’all thought you were sick, you were misdiagnosed (Nope) / I’m dope and you’ll never have this high a dose (Nope, yeah) / Now my estates in the buildin’, and bitch, I done slept on more floors than the Empire State (‘Pire State) Building.” While there is literal imagery of Eminem’s home now being the Empire State Building, which is so big (and expensive) that he has bedrooms on every floor, it’s really a metaphor for his legacy being a huge part of the rap game, and the fact that this respect wasn’t just handed to him. He worked hard for it. Moreover, this is the setup to subliminal shot that comes after those lines (mentioned above) that was taken at Jay-Z who has a track called “Empire State of Mind.” Ironically, the song’s length is 4:44, which is also a title of one of JAY-Z’s studio albums.

Hip-hop fans really thought Eminem was taking shots at Jay-Z but under one of the posts on Instagram, Royce Da 5’9” responded to a fan who asked: “You not gonna answer this but they saying Em was throwing a shot at Jay in that Tobey joint. Is that true? On which Royce responded with “Of course not.”

If you thought another hip-hop war was brewing between two rap giants, it’s not. Sorry. Check out Royce’s response below:

Is Eminem taking shots at Jay-Z on new song?

Eminem returned on Tuesday (July 2, 2024) with his second The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) single, titled “Tobey,” alongside fellow Detroit hip-hop artists Big Sean and BabyTron. Batting third on the track, Em sliced up the ominous production and even appeared to address Billboard ranking him at No. 5 on the 50 Greatest Rappers of All-Time list, which was published last year.

“Ain’t feelin’ your top five favorite rappers (Woo) / So I know they ’bout to be pissed at me (Why?) / But this, to me, is a mystery / How rappers I’ve already ripped could be (What?) / Higher up on a list than me (Ha) / Yet here I sit on your list though at five (Hm), which still was fine / But just know inside, to me, that s–t’s hilarious.”

“Eminem has poked fun at the idea that Jay-Z is better than him for a long time… he did it on “Seduction” in 2010 too.. he used Jay-Z’s favorite “ah” adlib from the Blueprint 3 while doing it too. Eminem always knew he was a better rapper than Jay-Z.. and so did anyone with sense.” said one of the fans on X. Another said: “I did NOT expect to see Eminem throwing subliminal disses to Jay-Z in 2024, damn… Right before this bar, he started the Jay-Z scheme by referencing the song “Empire State of Mind”, and continuing with this reference of the time he out-rapped him on “Renegade.” Someone tweeted: “This whole verse really reinforces Eminem’s legacy as a competitive rapper through and through. Jay-Z could use a little inspiration to get back in the booth too!”

JAY-Z thanks Dr. Dre during his Global Impact Award acceptance speech

JAY-Z received the 2nd annual Dr. Dre Global Impact Award during last night’s Grammy 2024 awards show to honor his impactful legacy — and brought 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy on stage to celebrate. “Thank you very much. I used to say it was a sippy cup for Blue, but Blue’s grown up now she doesn’t take sippy cups,” he began. “And she has her own Grammys.”

Then Hov continued his speech by giving Dr. Dre his flowers: “Thanks to Dr. Dre. He’s somewhere here. There he is! Andre Young, thank you sir. All the doors that you opened. Showed us that we can be a rock stars. Seeing you on Rolling Stone. When you came out West, you took it to whole new level. Put us on the covers. Put us around the world, you and Snoop, all that y’all did all these records y’all broke. Thank you for this.”

JAY-Z also used his acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammys to call out the organization by questioning the process behind the voted categories: “We want y’all to get it right. At least getting close to right. And obviously it’s subjective. Y’all don’t gotta clap at everything. Obviously it’s subjective because, you know, it’s music and it’s opinion-based. But, you know, some things — I don’t want to embarrass this young lady [Beyoncé], but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year. So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work. Think about that. The most Grammys, never won album of the year. That doesn’t work.”

Did Eminem kill Jay-Z on “Renegade”? Math Hoffa does not think so

Math Hoffa has recently sat down with DJ VLAD where the battle rapper and the host of My Expert Opinion talked about Jay-Z and Eminem’s classic track “Renegade” and revealed that he does not think Slim Shady outrapped Jigga on the track.

“They both did their thing on a song ‘Renegade’. People make that argument that Eminem killed Jay-Z because Nas said that s–t. But realistically, the subject matter of they are talking about, I can get it, the paparazzi effect and the critics that were coming after Eminem but I can mentally walk through the hood while I’m listening to Jay-Z, so it’s a song about subject matter. I don’t think it’s a murder thing.” said Math Hoffa

Then he continued: “If it’s a track like we getting off like ‘I’mma smoke you ni–as,’ if they got on something like that, then who wins? If Tupac was still alive, whose verse would he like? There is a reason why, you listen to Nas and the way he structures his rhymes, that’s why he would say, Eminem murdered you because the constant flowing that Em had, he just kept building compound rhyme, it connected beautifully if you are into that. But if you are Tupac fan, Tupac did it occasionally but he focused more on what he was saying and being direct in his message.”

Joe Budden reflects on his past disputes with Eminem & JAY-Z

Joe Budden has recently appeared on “The Pivot” podcast’s latest episode. During the hourlong conversation, the veteran emcee who turned into podcaster, talked on a variety of topics, including his mental health struggles, becoming a successful media personality, and much more.

At the beginning of the interview, Budden was asked about being the aggressor in many of his past conflicts within the entertainment industry and admitted that he approached some of them in a wrong way.

“Build and destroy. In some instances, I maybe went about it the wrong way or expressed myself the wrong way, but the intent is always pure. The intent is always for the better of everyone. It’s never like a selfish act. When I had my back and forth with Shady Records and Eminem, I was fighting for me and my brothers [Slaughterhouse] to get a better situation.” said Joe Budden.

Then he continued: “I can’t regret any of it. There is a lot of things that I should have dealt with different way but I don’t regret any of it cause I pulled a lesson from it. All of the yesterdays lead to today. If I change one thing, then an outcome, then the result is different. When JAY-Z got his role as president of Def Jam, I was a young artist on Def Jam trying to work on my second album. And at that time, a lot of the artists on Def Jam had a issue with JAY-Z being the president. This was the first time that a rapper, our peer, was calling the shots, in charge of DMX’s release date, and LL release date, and none of us took that well. And I really didn’t take it well.”

“I didn’t handle myself well at all. Every interview that they booked for me, I kicked their back in. Every chance I got in front of a microphone, I had disparaging things to say about people who, ultimately, were maybe trying to help me. Even if they weren’t trying to help me, if I would’ve helped myself, I would have been in a different predicament. But I didn’t. Gas on the fire.” Joe Budden added.

Busta Rhymes names Top 5 Greatest Rappers Ever, includes Eminem

Last month, Busta Rhymes returned with a new studio album, Blockbusta. The LP arrived as his eleventh project overall and the first full-length collection of music since 2020’s Extinction Level Event 2.

To promote the album, the East Flatbush, New York-born hip-hop legend has done an interview on Amazon Music’s +44 Podcast with Sideman and Zeze Millz where he revealed his list of top five greatest rappers of all time.

“Greatest rapper ever? I don’t think I have one. I could say five. Rakim. Some might disagree with me but Nas. I would say Eminem. I’m starting to feel like there some new guys that are starting to go into that list to me. I’m almost there with J. Cole but I’m still torn between him and Kendrick. I’m talking about only bars! If Kendrick was to get active in the same way that Cole is being active, it would be a way different conversation but again, I’m torn between Cole and Kendrick, but it would be one of them two.” said Busta Rhymes.

Then he continued: “I still didn’t put none of them two in the fourth place. I was just saying that it was gonna be a new guy cause they are really starting to really earn their right to passage and to be in the top 5 greatest of all time to me. I would definitely say JAY-Z. I’m Biggie bias. I’m Biggie bias because I think what he has done between two albums everybody obviously had an opportunity to work way longer than him and they still can’t top what he has done in two albums. I think that’s my list.”

Later, Busta continues speaking about touring with 50 Cent, his new album Blockbusta, working with Little Simz, R.A and Giggs, growing up in the United Kingdom and more. You can watch the interview below:

Westside Gunn says Eminem, Jay-Z & Kanye West helped him realize how ‘ill’ he is

Many hip-hop artists have been influenced by Eminem, JAY-Z, and Kanye West during the course of their careers, and Westside Gunn just acknowledged that he is one of them.

The Griselda rapper has recently sat down on SiriusXM‘s “Hip Hop Nation” radio show for an exclusive interview with Torae. Despite his impressive resume, the Buffalo, NY native didn’t realize how dope he was on the mic until he started spending time with those legends.

“Not to sound crazy — I learned how ill I am. You heard the names that you just named. They don’t get no bigger.” – said Westside Gunn

Then he continued: “And these is guys that’s my friends, my family. I could call them and ask them for anything. So, that’s how you have Virgil Abloh on the cover of Gunn’s albums Pray for Paris and And Then You Pray for Me. The ‘Steve & Jony’ record that’s on the album? That idea came from Hov. He called me and him that. We was just talking about this album, and he was like, ‘Yo, you should name one of them songs that.’”

Kxng Crooked suggests what Eminem & Jay-Z should do together to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop

The 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop is the most epic year in Hip Hop history!

Celebrations are being held all around the world to uplift and honor every aspect of Hip Hop culture. From concerts and tours to new albums, mixtapes, singles, rap battles, competitions and exhibitions, all of your favorite DJs, MCs, Breakdancers, Beatboxers, Graffiti artists and more show up and show out to make this golden anniversary of Hip Hop culture the most extraordinary year yet.

from the celebration and rightfully so. No new music, no tours, no award shows from the two hip-hop icons so far in 2023.

“It’s fascinating to watch the 50th anniversary of hip-hop play out this year and Eminem and Jay Z distance themselves from any type of celebration or live performance celebrating the culture. Watching they supporters justify they actions is also fascinating.” said one of the users on Twitter.

On which someone replied: “It’s really not our business what they do. Neither have released an album, they both get criticized constantly on this app and in the media when they do release music .. they both are so large in life that they could overshadow the celebration and concerts.”

From there, Kxng Crooked jumped into the conversation: “I welcome the overshadowing.. Show the world how big our beloved culture is! They have 3 months left to pop out.”

Then he added another tweet: “All they have to do is walk out and perform Renegade and go home.” You can check the tweets in the video below:

J. Cole says Eminem & Tupac are the North Stars that he was always following

J. Cole has talked openly about the Hip Hop icons who motivated him to strive for excellence and establish himself as a prominent figure in rap.

Cole has recently sat down with Kevin Hart for the latest episode of Hart to Heart podcast on Peacock, where he paid homage to some of the game’s legends that paved the way like Eminem and 2Pac.

“I got a whole list of people who are the reason why I’m here — They don’t even know it but they are north stars that I was following. Obviously, Pac. Jay, Nas, Eminem, André 3000, Lil Wayne. And these are obviously the big bullets.” Cole said.

Then he continued: “I had Royce Da 5’9″ moments. I had Canibus moments. I had Boom Boom moments. But like in terms of the people that fueled my ambition. That showed me what was really possible. Like the first names I named, those are the highest ones. So those were the people where I was like, ‘Yo, I’m tryna get up there.’ In terms of skill, in terms of success, all of that they fueled it.”
