Conway shows love to Jay-Z & Kobe Bryant over Kanye West’s “Devil In A New Dress” freestyle

Conway The Machine has been putting his time to good use in preparation for his major label, Shady Records debut, God Don’t Make Mistakes, which will be released on February 25th.

The Griselda heavy hitter released a freestyle over Kanye West’s Donda opening track “Jail” last week and he is back at it again. This time Conway spits over “Devil In A New Dress.”

In the freestyle, Conway raps:

“Gotta remember, me and these n***as ain’t similar,
Bout to drop my new sh*t and change the temperature,
Drop my album in February to f*ck the winter up,
And I built a company to pull my n***as up”

While expressing his superior abilities and demeanor, Conway spoke on some messages he’s learned from the greats and his admiration of them. He referenced Jay-Z saying that Jigga told him “Don’t worry, n***a, I got you.

Conway also gave a nod to the revered Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, as he recorded it “Two years from the day we lost Mamba, May he rest in peace.”

Conway performs “Scatter Brain” with J.I.D & Ludacris on Fallon

Conway The Machine took his J.I.D and Ludacris assisted song “Scatter Brain” from his latest album La Maquina to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, which saw the trio perform the track amid a foggy set-up of old, static-filled TVs and cinder blocks.

In addition to the Fallon performance, Conway also sat down with Nadeska Alexis on Apple Music, where he discussed his relationship with Jay-Z, saying Hov is “just a regular dude like me.” Conway also said Jay isn’t working on new music.

“I’m like, ‘Yo, you gonna record more? You been cooking up, what you doing?’ And he actually was like, ‘Nah man, I ain’t, I ain’t,’ and he was saying the way he records is kinda like how I do it. It’s gotta be a vibe. Like, I gotta hear something, they gotta take me there, I gotta be experiencing something.”

“I’m just sitting there soaking up jewels, you know what I’m saying. But that’s what it was like with Hov. I’m a listener, so, I’mma sit back and collect all the jewelry as much as I can.” said Conway

Conway shares new snippet, says his Shady Records debut album is ‘a masterpiece’

Since signing with Eminem’s Shady Records in 2017, God Don’t Make Mistakes will be the major debut album for Conway The Machine, who has previewed a snippet of the upcoming song on Instagram, alongside the caption which reads: “God Don’t Make Mistakes is a masterpiece!”

I am losing my marbles, letting my AR go, Fifty shot sticks will leave you ni**as something horrible. Sixty on the digidash look how fast my car go, talk about my face but can not say s**t about my bars though. Every bullet in the cartridges land, the stick look like a guitar in my hand strumming like I am part of a band.” raps Conway in the untitled snippet.

Conway The Machine’s debut album, which has the potential to become the Best Hip-Hop Album Of The Year, is reportedly dropping somewhere this year. Meanwhile, check out the snippet below:
