Jeezy takes shots at 50 Cent in a new song “Therapy For My Soul”

Before Jeezy drops The Recession 2 album, the Atlanta rapper dropped the “Back” follow-up single “Therapy For My Soul”. In the song, Jeezy appears to take shots at 50 Cent with the following lines:

“Since we talking boss talk, let’s address the sucka s**t,
Grown man playing on Instagram, real sucka s**t
Why the f**k this clown ni**a playing with my legacy?
Solid in these streets, that’s some s**t that you will never be
Talking ’bout power, but weak ni**as do the most
In real life, ni**a you really borrow money from Ghost
All that lil’ boy s**t, yeah it make it evident
Made millions in these streets, what the f**k is 50 Cent?
And it’s still Free Meech, love him if he right or wrong
But the streets wanna know, do we really get along
If you askin’ me, ni**a, that’s one thousand percent.”

BREAKING: 50 Cent is down for Verzuz Battle VS The Game

Couple of hours ago, 50 Cent set down with Big Boy for an interview where the two talked about viral Verzuz Battle. Last Weekend, Wack 100 made a public call to 50 Cent and The Game to participate on the Swizz Beatz and Timbo led production show. Fiddy is down for it but he did lay down the specific rules:

“If you think about, from my time period, there is nothing that can match that run. You know what? Look. Okay, The Game can not play no records with my voice on it. He got some hits. It would be interesting.

“The Game got some hits. It would be interesting.”

Fifty continues: “As much as we argued and fought in the early stages, I would rather see him benefit from the momentum than someone else. He was still part of G-Unit and is gonna be a part of the legacy of, overall. Even if you just wanna concentrate on the break up.”

50 Cent’s “In Da Club” hits 1 Billion views on YouTube

Probably 50 Cent’s greatest hit song “In Da Club” has just surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. The song was originally supposed to be a D12 song for the 8 Mile soundtrack album. Dr. Dre, who produced the track, played the instrumental for Fifty, who immediately wrote the lyrics for the song within an hour.

According to The Billboard Book Of Number 1 Hits, when choosing which song should be the lead single for Get Rich or Die Tryin’s album, Eminem favored “If I Can’t” but Dre insisted “In da Club” instead. After they tossed the coin, “In da Club” was chosen. The music video of the song features cameos from both, Eminem and Dr. Dre.

“In da Club” eventually was released as the lead single for Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ under Shady Records. The song hit No. 1 in seven countries and went multi-platinum in the United States.

Reason on Westside Gunn: “Is that an ad-lib guy from Griselda?”

Top Dawg Entertainments’ Reason has recently set down with Joe Budden, Rory and Mal for new episode of Joe Budden Podcast. During the 3 hour podcast the most interesting moments arrives when Joe Budden and the crew breaks down Westside Gunn’s recent message for Eminem and Shady Records, when the Griselda rapper expressed his disappointment in Shady for not promoting his new album at all.

He is the one with the ad-libs right? He has been throwing little darts at TDE for a minute. I do get what he’s saying as far as how many projects they putting out. But it’s also not about the quantity though, it’s about the classics, in my opinion. We were all supposed to rap at Apple. Griselda was going up there and I was supposed to rap with them. I hit Benny, they said it was cool. And then they said the studio did not have the capacity for another rapper.” says Reason

For me, I don’t think n***as really like to cross moments anymore,. It is not about the moment in hip-hop, it is about where you trying to go. That is something I try to push against. I try to go with the moments.” adds Reason.
