Eminem’s mother reacts to Eminem & Hailie dancing at her granddaughter’s wedding

A little more than a year after Eminem and Kim Scott’s daughter Hailie Jade revealed that she and Evan McClintock had gotten engaged, the two have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Battle Creek, Michigan surrounded by family and friends, which included Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Jimmy Iovine.

“Waking up a wife this week,” Hailie shared in a May 20, 2024 Instagram post featuring photos from the couple’s wedding day. “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration.” And the 28-year-old, who wore a stunning white strapless gown with jaw-dropping floor-length veil, simply found herself lost in the moment during their nuptials.

She continued: “So so many happy tears were shed laughs and smiles were had and so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family and friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.”

Under the posts’ comment, Bizarre of D12 commented: “Congrats” with heart emoji. Obie Trice also replied: “Congratulations Hailie,” and Skylar Grey said: “Congrats honey stunning.”

But that’s not all from the ceremony, according to TMZ, Hailie and Eminem enjoyed a father-daughter dance during the occasion, which was held at a lavish venue in Battle Creek, Michigan. Eminem’s mother, Debbie Nelson, who is registered on X (formerly Twitter) as @heartandsoul777, retweeted her friend Amanda Gardner’s post with the caption: “My son hasn’t slow danced. 🙂 Give him E for effort. Eminem teases release date for new music

Eminem has been taking a very unique approach to the rollout for his much-anticipated upcoming 12th solo studio album. Last month, Marshall announced The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) with a true crime parody video just before the NFL Draft 2024, and then he had an obituary for Slim printed in the Detroit Free Press, all well as in Germany and Italy newspapers. It’s looking like The Death of Slim Shady will be Eminem’s most ambitious album in years, and based on the latest piece of material released, it won’t be long until fans get to hear what it sounds like.

Eminem posted a screenshot video of a text exchange on his social media accounts. The contact info at the top reads: “All contacts,” and the message that gets sent out reads: “And for my last trick!” This video furthers the notion that the upcoming album will be the end of the line for Slim Shady as a character. The biggest revelation, though, is the time in which the text message is sent. The message says Friday, May 31 at 12:00 AM, which means fans can expect something major to happen on this date. It’s not made clear what the “something” will be. Under the comment section, Ez Mil and Nasaan both commented the magic wand emojis. Slim Shady also changed his profile pictures on social media to a ‘rabbit’, which is probably related to his 8 Mile character.

It will probably be a new single. Some fans took to the comment section to theorize that Em is dropping the entire album on May 31, but the video teaser announcing The Death of Slim Shady stated that it will drop in the summer. Seeing as summer doesn’t officially start until late June, it’s safe to state that Eminem will be sitting on the album for a bit longer. The Detroit legend first teased the idea of new music back in January. He told Shade 45 listeners that he was “working on a little something,” and also teased a potential collaboration with 50 Cent.

“I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album, like, really bad. 50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour. I told him whatever the f–k he needs from me, I’m here. Joint album? Hailie dances with Eminem at her wedding

Yesterday, Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Scott, married her fiancé Evan McClintock in Battle Creek, Michigan. As TMZ reports, the ceremony was modestly sized with close friends and family.

Of course, that meant Papa Bear himself was also there and TMZ got some awesome shots that show him soaking in Hailie’s big day, with the two of them sharing a dance!

As you can see, Slim Shady was suited and booted as he led Hailie, who looked absolutely beautiful in her bridal gown, on the dance floor, with a ton of people looking on. Hailie was flashing a big smile and Eminem was true to his name, rockin’ classic sunglasses.

Another photo shows Em posing next to Hailie and Evan together at the wedding venue, Greencrest Manor and everybody is radiating, especially, Hailie, who’s in all-white… It’s certainly a happy ending for Hailie and Evan who’ve been together as a couple since 2016 and who got engaged last February, with some fantastic shots capturing the moment.

Hailie, who’s 28 now, and a successful podcaster/social media influencer, has been the apple of Eminem’s eye for many years, having been name-dropped in countless songs of his, with Em making it known that he’s a protective dad and would do anything for her.

We know Em’s proud of Hailie and her life path and obviously, since he was there for the wedding, we know he approves of Evan as a hubby for his kid. Now, he’s got a son-in-law. Pretty crazy to think she’s all grown up and off to start her own family. Things really do come full circle — and Em clearly meant what he said when he rapped about getting her anything she wanted. Indeed, it’s Hailie’s Song, only here — it’s “Here Comes the Bride.”

Stephen Colbert promotes The Death Of Slim Shady & invites Eminem at his show

Stephen Colbert has recently promoted Eminem’s new album on his THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT and invited the Detroit legend for an interview to promote his much-anticipated project.

“Folks, everybody who knows me, knows I’m big into hip-hop, the rippity raps as we call it, which is why I was personally devastated to learn that an obituary has appeared in Detroit Free Press for Eminem’s fictional alter ego Slim Shady. If only the authorities had thought to contact his doctor but sadly they Forgot About Dre.” said Stephen Colbert.

He then continued: “Now, the heartless buzzards of the media industry out there claim that Eminem is just running this fake obituary to promote his upcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grace). Mnem, as he as repeatedly asked me not to call him, is it true artist, he would never stoop to emotionally manipulating his fans for a few streams, plus no major media figure is going to be dumb enough to fall for this obit and promote The Death Of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grace), available later this summer (Come on this show, call me).”

“No, this obit is real and can mean only one thing, Will The Real Slim Shady Please Stand Up? Now I’m Slim Shady. Yes, I’m the real Shady, all the other Slim Shadys are just imitating. Slim Shady obituary appears in The Detroit Free Press newspaper

Slim is coming back for the last time.

Eminem is gearing up for the release of his 12th solo studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which will be the final chapter in his alter ego’s storyline. The catch is, like the title suggests, Slim Shady is dead. The teaser that announced the album was structured like an old procedural show, in which witnesses reflect on what went wrong. Since Em announced the album, we have seen no promo at all except today, when Em posted an obituary in the Detroit newspaper.

“Slim Shady made lasting impressions” read the Detroit Free Press headline. The piece treats Slim like a real person, despite the comically exaggerated photo of him wearing a hockey mask above the headline. It does, however, address some of the satirical elements that Eminem has played with whenever he used the Shady moniker. “[His] audience was soon exposed to the extreme darkness of the muse/rapper. As he led millions of music fans down a road glorified a demonstrably nihilistic worldview.”

The obituary notes that Slim Shady’s path was always going to come to a tragic end. “His complex and tortured existence has come to a close. And the legacy he leaves behind is no closer to resolution than the manner in which the character departed this world. May he truly find the peace in an afterlife that he could not find on Earth.”

During a 1999 interview with Video Music Box, the Detroit legend revealed that Slim Shady allowed him to free up his creative impulses without having to worry about whether they went too far. “Everybody’s got two sides to them. Slim Shady’s just an angry side for me to vent. Eminem is just me. When I sit down with a pen, sometimes I write Eminem rhymes, sometimes I write Slim Shady rhymes. It depends on what type of mood I’m in that day.” Two and a half decades later, it seems like Em is finally ready to let go of the Slim Shady safety net. Check out the newspaper below:

Symba calls Eminem GOAT, names his favorite Em verse, says he learned a lot from Em

Couple of years ago, San Francisco Bay Area, California-born rapper Symba, who was cosigned by Dr. Dre by posting his freestyle on Instagram with the caption: “One of my new favorites,” did an interview on Revolt where he declared himself better rapper than Eminem: “I respect Eminem on a level as a man but as a rapper… I feel like I could name five better rappers. The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show. It’s fire. It’s fire but you want my honest opinion? Yes, I’m better than Eminem. Anybody can rhyme words. What are you saying? Hey, the girl that’s yelling, rap me an Eminem verse! She got quiet.”

During a recent episode of Connect The Dots podcast Symba responded to a backlash: “Shout out to Marshall Mathers. If you ask any NBA player who’s better than him, they gonna say nobody. It’s a competitive spirit that we have. Now, that does not take away from the legend and an icon and all the work Eminem has put in. But I was asked the question and they gut the clip up at certain way that made it look like I was going at one of the GOATs. But it was not that at all.” said Symba.

Then he continued: “I respect Em. I got a lot of respect for Em. Learned a lot from him. I worked with Dr. Dre and Dre told me a lot about Em. But when they were asking me, I don’t feel like nobody in this world is better than me as a rapper. That’s just how I feel. But shout out to GOAT Em.”

Later in the interview, Symba named his favorite Eminem verse and revealed that he learned a lot from Slim Shady: “My favorite verse is ‘Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie, Andre from Outkast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me but in this industry I’m a cause of a lot of envy so when I’m not put on this list, this s–t not offend me, that’s why you see me walk around like nothing’s bothering me.’ Eminem taught me how to have character. Luis Resto says Eminem goes back to his hard-hitting roots on new album

Speaking to The National after his performance at Mutek.AE music and design festival last week in Dubai, iconic pianist Luis Resto, Eminem‘s long-time collaborator, says the Detroit legend’s much-anticipated new album will have him going back to his hard-hitting roots. He also revealed that he has been contributing sporadically to Slim Shady’s new album since 2021.

“I do have a notion of things judging by what I have seen and heard across the last three years and if I have to give you a forecast, you are going to hear a whole nod back to some of his original creative areas. He is talking about where he came from and where he is now. So it is really a hodgepodge musically of ideas and influences.” says Luis Resto.

Resto’s contribution continues his long-standing relationship Em, stemming back to 2000’s The Marshall Mathers LP. Although that record had him contributing minimally, it was from 2002’s follow up The Eminem Show that Resto scored song-writing credits on each of Eminem’s album and associated soundtracks. The work includes co-writing and producing chart-topping hits such as 2004’s Toy Soldiers, 2010’s Grammy Award-winning Not Afraid and 2020’s Godzilla. The track record also includes the wildly successful 2002 track Lose Yourself from 8 Mile, a film that starred Eminem. The song earned the duo, alongside co-producer and writer Jeff Bass, an Oscar for Best Original Song in 2003.

Resto recalls writing the dramatic string section when recording the track in a makeshift studio on the film set in Eminem’s hometown Detroit: “Marshall led that session and I remember he kept saying how the song felt too rock ‘n’ roll and he wanted us to really rebuild the song and take it in a different direction. And this is where I got to use my orchestral chops and added piano, French horns, flutes and strings. I love the hip-hip ethos in general because a lot of it is based on using your ear and feeling your way through songs.

“Now I personally have knowledge of music theory and I am well-versed on how it all works but working with people like Eminem and 50 Cent is a much more open session. It’s not based on major or minor chords or what is correct or not. It’s based on whether it sounds dope or not. Sometimes we are in the studio and they would look at us and wonder if what they are doing is right. And from my experience, I would tell them that it depends on what context you are asking me. If you are asking me theoretically, then I could say that this is not the right note and then what happens is the minute we change it to the correct note, the song is not as cool as it sounds. We often change it back again because they knew what they wanted in the first place.”

“I went out on the road with him around 2011 and quickly realized that he needed a more youthful culture projected on stage. I remember at that time I always wore my hair long and I went grey so early in life that I was done dyeing it. So when one of the roadies asked me if I was going to dye it, I understood the band really needed to look for somebody different. There was absolutely no offence taken because my relationship with Eminem continued and the work flowed.” Luis Resto added.

Nick Cannon compares his battle with Eminem to Drake and Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar drops his 4th diss track towards Drake. The rapper has been feuding with Drake, dropping the diss track titled “Euphoria” few days ago followed by “6:16 In LA” yesterday morning and “meet the grahams” at midnight. With each song, K. Dot has been getting more and more ruthless. His newest one is called “Not Like Us,” produced by Mustard, and it’s as brutal as it gets. It also made Nick Cannon to call himself a trend setter.

While the Compton rapper’s previous tracks had lines accusing Drake of pedophilia, “Not Like Us” goes deeper. He also takes aim at Chubbs (Drake’s head of security) and OVO singer PartyNextDoor and Baka Not Nice (who was once arrested on human trafficking charges). “Certified lover boy, certified pedophiles… Why he trollin’ like a b–ch? Ain’t you tired?/ Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-Minor.” raps Kendrick. The artwork for the single also depicts Drake’s house on a predator app.

Drake so far has gone after Lamar on the tracks “Push Ups,” “Taylor Made Freestyle,” and, most recently, “Family Matters.” The beef began in March with “Like That,” the No. 1 hit from Future and Metro Boomin on which Lamar was featured and is a response to Drakes’ “First Person Shooter,” with J. Cole.

Watching Kendrick dropping back to back disses, Nick Cannon justified his action against Eminem under the comments on one of the posts on Instagram and declared himself as a Trend Setter of dropping back to back diss records: “And they got mad at me back when I dropped 4 @Eminem diss records! Back to Back to Back to Back! #Trendsetter.” he said.

Nick did drop back to back diss records towards Eminem but was it 4? After Slim Shady took shots at Nick on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above,” the San Diego, California-born hip-hop artist and comedian hit back at Em with “Pray For Me,” “The Invitation” and “The Invitation Canceled” diss tracks. The responses were so weak, Eminem decided to respond with just one tweet: “U mad bro? Stop lying on my dick. I never even had a chauffeur, you bougie f–k.”

Yelawolf talks meeting Eminem for the first time

In a recent interview with DJ VLAD, Yelawolf talked about meeting Eminem first time and doing the first album under Shady Records.

“What was the first meeting Eminem like? He walked around the corner reciting every word to Pop The Trunk, without even saying what’s up. He was just rapping it. It was mind-blowing.” said Yelawolf.

Then he continued: “I was like any other white boy that was chasing this hip-hop dream. It was crushing to have this…not being represented correctly. We always wanted to be representative. Somebody has to get this correct in a major major way and he did and I was just proud. Watching his success meant that I had a chance. Cause he kicked the door down. But you had to be a f–king beast. I wanted to be an ally and not on the receiving in of a battle ort anything like that. I never wanted that. I wanted to join that and get the cosign and I set out to do that. It was surreal. But at the same time, if you would have asked me 10 years before ‘are you gonna sign to Shady’ I would have just been like ‘f–k yeah.’ It’s that ego thing. I held on to that demo tape I found of his 10 years before, classic Eminem, he would hand those to labels and s–t. I found it, put it in my back pocket and I set out to put in his hands and I did that very thing.”

“So, it was surreal but it was also almost immediately. After brewing down with him, having really great meeting and a conversation with him, I think I jumped right back in the car and I was like ‘man lets do the album immediately.’ So we did. Mohamed Salah makes entire Liverpool squad work out to Eminem

Liverpool’s official social media pages shared a video of their players working out to Eminem songs at the AXA Training Centre, thanks to Mohamed Salah.

Alexis Mac Allister, Darwin Núñez, Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Conor Bradley, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Díaz and others are seen swearing it out in the gym with some of the greatest hits from Eminem, including “Without Me,” “The Real Slim Shady,” “Lose Yourself,” and “Love The Way You Lie” with Rihanna.

What’s notable in the video is that, the players were listening to different songs until the Egyptian King arrived with the question: “What’s wrong with the music here?! Guys!” and started playing the entire playlist of Eminem.

This is not the first time Salah showed love to Eminem. Last year, Ibrahima Konate asked the Liverpool winger what’s his favorite tour song on which Salah replied: “Eminem, Lose Yourself.” To which a surprised Konate said: “Oh my God, Trent have you heard what he went for. Oh my God, Eminem.” The Egyptian said: “That’s my favorite one.”

Salah clashed with Klopp as he was about to come on during last weekend’s 2-2 draw at West Ham. The Egypt forward, declined interview requests after the game, saying: “There’s going to be a fire today if I speak.” But Klopp said on Friday: “There’s no problem. We are absolutely fine with it. Benzino’s ghostwriter breaks silence on Eminem diss

Benzino’s “Rap Elvis” ghostwriter, battle rapper Ness Lee finally breaks silence about the diss record and describes the writing process in a new interview with TRAP NEWZ DAILY.

“First of all, f–k that n-gga who sent the video to Cliff Beats. That s–t kinda goofy. But at the end of the day I just wanted to do something historic. I felt like I could accomplish writing a greatest diss song towards Eminem. That’s all I wanted to do.” said Ness Lee.

Then he continued: “If you want to win a round against somebody like Eminem or you want to get close or whatever case may be, I’m the one you come to. I’m not really a fan of everything’s that’s going on after that. First a foremost, I did not have anything to do with the first diss record [Vulturius]. They dropped Proof name like that. I had nothing to do with that. It was not even good enough to be from my pen. Two, I would never disrespect my brother Proof. He was eventually going to sign me back in 03. He was the first person to show me love in the industry of battle rap. That’s my big brother, I would never disrespect him like that. The diss that I did, I said, rest in peace to the best one, the rest of them sound iffy. It was never supposed to be public that it was me. This is my first interview and probably my only interview about it.”

“I’ve been getting some concerned messages from some of my brothers from Detroit, some people who I don’t even know, that felt some kind of way about the first track and I had to tell them that I had nothing to do with that one. I physically does not write that basic. And most of, I would never say that s–t about Proof. If this man [Benzino] is in a war with this dude [Eminem], it’s on him what he wants to say. I can’t dictate. I mean, I can but when I spoke to that man in the beginning, I asked where his mind is on the whole situation and he said ain’t no street involved and that’s when I decided to get involved. Joyner Lucas asks Eminem to jump on the remix of one of his songs from new album

About a month ago, Joyner Lucas released his second solo studio album Not Now I’m Busy. One of the standout tracks off the album is “I’m Ill,” produced by ADHD Productions and Leo Son.

Joyner Lucas has recently posted a snippet of the music video of “I’m Ill” on his social media accounts and in the caption, he asked Eminem to jump on the remix. “I want @Eminembon the remix of this.” Under the Instagram post, Page Kennedy commented: “I can hear him rip it.” Grafh also replied, saying “Fireee.”

Under the comment section of his Facebook post, one of the fans commented: “Didn’t you throw a slight diss in one of your tracks his way last year? Lol” On that, Joyner replied: “are you on drugs?”

Speaking to The Breakfast Club last month, Joyner Lucas revealed just how hard it is to get in touch with Eminem, comparing it to getting the president on the phone. “Getting on the phone with him, you can probably hop on the phone quicker with Barack [Obama] than you can hop on the phone with Marshall. That n-gga’s calling you from a line with his manager’s assistant who is calling you from a 1800 number and it’s like elevator music and, ‘Please hold, Marshall’s coming to the phone.’”

He continued: “You can’t have his number. Nobody has his number. He’s not accessible. You can’t talk to him. It’s like hopping on the phone with the president. I always wondered why this n-gga move like that. I had a conversation with him on the shoot of ‘Lucky You’ and he was in his trailer and I was like, ‘Yeah man, anytime you wanna talk, you can hit me,’. He was like, ‘Yeah’ but I could tell he was real standoffish. I asked Royce Da 5’9″ why he’s like that. He was like, ‘That n-gga’s been through a lot of s–t. He’s very closed-off from people. I never understood it but when I was experiencing the s–t I was experiencing, I got it instantly. I’m like, ‘This is why this motherf–ker doesn’t want new friends.’”

Eminem and Sting to headline 2024 Formula One Grand Prix

Music icons Sting and Eminem will headline the post-race concerts at 2024’s Formula One Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.

Sting will perform timeless hits from his catalog on Friday night and Eminem, who is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his album “The Slim Shady LP” with the release of a new record, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace),” will take the mainstage on Saturday.

The Formula One Grand Prix takes place on October 18-20. Entrance to the concerts is included with your race ticket. Tickets and more information at circuitoftheamericas.com.

Sting’s last Austin appearance was a Moody Center show in August of 2023. Eminem, the best-selling rapper of all time, has not played in the Texas capital in a decade. His headline sets at the 2014 Austin City Limits Music Festival drew some of the biggest crowds we’ve ever seen at the festival.

Joe Budden podcast crew discuss new Eminem album

The latest episode of the Joe Budden Podcast begins with the news of a cease and desist from Tupac’s estate over the use of his vocals on Drake’s ‘Taylor Made’ Freestyle before turning to Megan Thee Stallion being accused of harassment in lawsuit by her ex-cameraman. Then they go to discuss Eminem‘s new album which is set to be released this summer.

“I saw a lot of negative reactions too but Eminem announced that he’s dropping The Death Of Slim Shady album. Personally I’m excited. I see some people say he does not rap about anything or he just raps about how good he raps. A lot of people don’t like the fast rapping flow and etc. I say to those people ‘I don’t think you listen to his last project, Music To Be Murdered By. It’s an amazing album. That was my number two album of 2020.” said Officially Ice.

From there, Joe Budden interfered: “Did I get dissed on there?” But he was quickly reminded that he was dissed on 2018’s Kamikaze album. On that he replied: “Alright, I’ll check that out then.”

Then Ice continues: “He went back and did the deluxe thing and added second album to it. I didn’t really rock with second but the original Music To Be Murdered By was a great project, a lot of concepts. Eminem narrates new Crypto advertising campaign

Detroit legend Eminem has teamed up with Crypto.com for the company’s latest advertising campaign. The commercial, first shared by Eminem on X (formerly Twitter), has featured his voice narration.

The campaign is set to make a splash during a high-visibility slot this Saturday at the NBA Playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Clippers at the Crypto.com Arena, Crypto.com shared in a statement.

Following the premiere, the ad will continue to feature in a series of high-profile sporting events including additional NBA Playoff games with the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Kings, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix running from May 3-5, and the upcoming UFC events where Crypto.com also serves as the Official Fight Kit Partner.

Steven Kalifowitz, Chief Marketing Officer at Crypto.com, underscored the comprehensive nature of the campaign. He stated: “Crypto.com has become one of the most recognized global brands by partnering with iconic people, places, and events. Our latest brand film builds on this theme and reiterates our deep conviction for our industry and the community building it responsibly.”

This is not Eminem’s first interaction with crypto. His engagement with crypto dates back to at least 2018, when he mentioned Bitcoin in a track on his “Kamikaze” album. The artist also made headlines in 2022 when he purchased a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for 123.45 ETH, worth around $462,000 at the time of purchase. Crypto.com’s campaign also revives the potent slogan “Fortune favors the brave,” famously voiced by actor Matt Damon in an earlier ad for the company.

In the video, that features Eminem’s uncrowned Recovery anthem “Cinderella Man,” Eminem says: “They ignored your potentials. Dissed your achievements. Mocked your ambition. But it’s not the critic who counts and you know that. From the beginning, you could not be stopped. Breaking resistance with every swing and block. Your game plan never changed. So enjoy this moment, the one that they said you’d never see. Some still call it luck. Let ’em. Cause you know what it’s always been. INEVITABLE.” You can watch the ad below:

Is Eminem making a music video for “Joker 2” ?!

Eminem has just announced that he will be dropping his new album, “The Death Of Slim Shady: Coup De Grâce” this summer. Well, Southpawer already has you covered with a solid theory of what to expect.

I believe Eminem just secretly revealed he’s shooting a music video for the movie Joker 2 Folie à Duex. Here’s my evidence:

First of all, look at the title of Eminem’s new album title in comparison to the new Joker movie. “The Death Of Slim Shady: Coup De Grâce” and  “Joker 2: Folie à Duex.” Both titles are written half in English and half in French.

Next, let’s go back to 2013, the last time Eminem had beef with Slim. On the song “Evil Twin” he referenced his potential suicide note being signed by the Joker.  Perhaps 10 years later, when Slim Shady dies, we’ll find a forged suicide note attached to his body, signed by The Joker. I admit this one is a bit of a stretch, but maybe this is Eminem’s subconscious spilling the beans.

We also know that Joker 2 is a musical film with a 200 million dollar budget. They are spending a lot of money, and maybe they’re using it to afford musical talent. We know Eminem loves appearing on soundtracks. Just to name a few, he’s been on Southpaw, Venom and most recently, Elvis. A horror-esque movie musical has Eminem’s name written all over it.

Thanks to a famous clown dancing scene in the first Joker movie, these stairs have become very iconic. Set photos have shown that they’re going to appear in the sequel as well. Maybe they’re even going to appear in Eminem’s next music video. Slim Shady seemed to have picked a very interesting spot to die on. I think this staircase is a fairly obvious nod to the famous stairs seen in the movies.

Even if I’m wrong about all of this, I have one final clue that I think will convince any reader. When Eminem dropped the trailer for the new album yesterday, I assumed it was mostly old footage being used until I noticed one detail. If you pause and zoom in, you’ll notice what appears to be a Joker scar cut into the corner of Eminem’s mouth. It’s blink and you’ll miss it but it’s there. This also means that Eminem shaved his beard for something. That’s the first time before Revival as far as we know.
