Rapsody Names Her Favorite Eminem Verses

Rapsody recently sat down with Rob Markman on The Best Interview Ever to discuss her musical influences and dream collaborations. During the conversation, she revealed her long-standing admiration for Detroit rap legend Eminem.

She detailed how her love for his music began and expressed her desire to feature him on one of her tracks, stating: “I wanted Eminem for ‘Abandoned Me’ song. I’ve been Eminem fan forever. My brother put me on Em on his first album. ‘Renegade’ and ‘Dead Wrong’ are my favorite Em verses but it’s hard to pick a favorite Em verse cause he’s killed everything.”

His guest appearances on Jay-Z’s “Renegade” and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Dead Wrong” remain widely regarded as some of the most iconic feature verses in hip-hop history. Rapsody’s shout-out highlights the enduring impact of those legendary verses across generations of artists.

Though a collaboration on “Abandoned Me” hasn’t materialized yet, fans are eager to see if these two elite lyricists will eventually link up in the studio. A track combining their sharp penmanship would undoubtedly be a massive moment for hip-hop purists.
