Rick Ross Slams 50 Cent: “Eminem, Dr. Dre Saved You”

In a recent interview with Patrick Bet-David, Rick Ross didn’t hold back when discussing his long-standing rivals and his own hard-earned empire. However, the most explosive moments came when Ross addressed his turbulent relationship with 50 Cent, dismissing any notion of past or future camaraderie between the two hip-hop heavyweights while contrasting his own self-made legacy against his rival’s corporate dependencies.

Unloading on 50 Cent’s financial standing and career backing, the Maybach Music Group founder boldly minimized his counterpart’s independent success. “We’ve never been cool. You can’t even dress. That’s all I used to tell him. You can’t dress. You’re not really getting no money. You don’t own your masters. Eminem saved you. Dr. Dre saved you. All the big names saved you. Rozay did it himself. I had to build this myself. And I’m not speaking down on him cause he lives in a two bedroom apartment,” Ross declared, taking aim at both 50’s fashion sense and his foundational industry support.

Ross further targeted 50 Cent’s business moves, claiming that major platforms and networks have historically exploited the Queens native rather than offering him true ownership. “They just used him for that Diddy documentary. He just put this name on there, giving him $10k. And that’s it. He don’t own any of that. Google Power TV show, they spoke up against salaries. He does not own Power. He does not own none of that. He does not own that 10 million seller album. He does not own Get Rich Or Die Tryin‘. That’s why he does not promote it. He makes nothing off of it,” Ross alleged, pointing to public disputes regarding television salaries as proof.
