“Eminem has just came out with me in Detroit. It’s hard to get him to go anywhere. That’s why I was so excited when he came out. He’s always in Detroit. He is like one of my best friends. I can’t pick a moment that he wasn’t in my corner or didn’t have positive intentions for me.” said 50 Cent.

50 Cent brings out Eminem at his Detroit concert

50 Cent has just brought out Eminem at his The Final Lap Tour at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan (45 miles away from Detroit).

Crowd went absolutely nuts as the Detroit legend and New York icon performed “Patiently Waiting” and “Crack A Bottle” on the stage together.

“Detroit! Don’t f–ing act like you didn’t know I was going to be here,” said Em, dressed in a hoodie with a 50 Cent shirt underneath it.

“Patiently Waiting” is the first of two Eminem collaborations on Fif’s debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, he also appears on “Don’t Push Me.” Despite not being released as a single, this record still managed to reach No. 56 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. On January 19, 2023, “Patiently Waiting” was certified platinum by the RIAA.

“Crack A Bottle” is the first single from Eminem’s sixth studio album Relapse, this song went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Performance by a Duo or Group in 2010.

The song initially gained attention in December 2008, when an unfinished version of the song was initially leaked under the name “Number One” on the mixtape 4th Quarter Pressure Part 2, while a final working version was leaked on January 6, 2009. It features Eminem performing Dre’s verse and an unused Em verse in place of 50 Cent’s.

On February 12, 2009, the song broke the first week digital sales record with 418,000 downloads, topping the previous record held by T.I.’s “Live Your Life”.

This song’s appearance in the Billboard Hot 100 marked Eminem’s first appearance on the chart as lead vocalist in two years. His previous entry was “You Don’t Know” which spent six weeks on the Hot 100 in December 2006 and January 2007.

It was Eminem’s second onstage cameo in recent months, following his surprise link-up with Ed Sheeran at Ford Field in July. You can watch 50 Cent and Eminem killing Pine Knob Music Theatre stage together below:

50 Cent gives update on 8 Mile TV series with Eminem

50 Cent promises that his 8 Mile TV series will be as big as Eminem’s 2002 feature film.

Fif first announced the project back in January, 2023 telling Big Boy’s Neighborhood that he hopes the series will help further Slim Shady’s already untouchable “legacy.”

“We in motion. It’s gonna be big. I’m working. I ain’t got no duds. I’m batting 100 … I think it should be there for [Eminem’s] legacy because it’s important to me that they understand it.” Fif said at that time.

50 Cent shed more light on the TV show in a recent interview with Men’s Health this week, noting that his 8 Mile reboot is on track to be just as big as the 2002 movie, starring Eminem.

“I’m developing the 8 Mile film into a series. So this s–t is expected to be just as big as the feature film, just huge. It’ll be huge. The interest in it is because the time period of 8 Mile was capturing per the bat, so as we move it into modern times you’ll see things about how we function now, how technology changed the way people enter the music business.”

Then he continued: “This is why you don’t see groups in the music business. You see so many individual artists because there’s no artist development. They used to take time, find Justin Timberlake over here, this guy from over here, bring this guy then we got NSYNC. Then we got Backstreet [Boys], then we got all of these cool boy bands because you put all of that talent into one show.”

50 Cent talks about his current relationship with Eminem

50 Cent has recently sat down with XXL magazine where he explains what his classic album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, means to him and offers details on his new collaboration with Nas on the song “Office Hours” from Magic 2 album. Other moments throughout the exclusive interview include some advice 50 had for Chief Keef at the onset of his career, hilarious jokes aimed at Busta Rhymes, who is Fif’s supporting act on The Final Lap Tour, current relationship with Eminem and more.

“I love him [Eminem] to death. That’s my boy. I don’t care what happens. Em, Dre, Jimmy and Paul Rosenberg were able to come to London. I did Wireless Fest. So I was out there and the came for my birthday to hang out and we got a chance to kick it. I talk to him. I just called him randomly. I texted him to say what’s up.” says 50 Cent.

Then he continues: “Em is like…I don’t know I put him next to my grandmother. Let me tell you why. It was never a point that I had confusion going on that, for artists the most vulnerable point for us is confusion, cause you have money, you have things around to comfort you but when you are in space where there is that confusion and can’t figure out what direction to write in. You can’t figure out what to do and then you don’t feel good. It’s just low point for creative people. Whatever that was going on, he was not participating ever. There was always a place where I could go to communicate or just talk to him and know that he has my best interests at heart like friends.

“When we say, ‘nah, that’s my man!’ I think we give the title ‘friend’ away too easy… And about Super Bowl, they don’t understand the relationship. They were tying to get Em do the Super Bowl without me. It would not happen!” Fif added.

New Song: Nas – “Office Hours” ft. 50 Cent

Legendary Nas is back with his latest project, titled Magic 2 — the sequel to his 2021 release, Magic.

The 11-track album clocks in at 30 minutes and is executive produced by Hit-Boy and Nas himself, with 50 Cent and 21 Savage appearing on the tracks “Office Hours” and “One Mic, One Gun,” respectively.

Magic 2 picks up where 2022’s King’s Disease — its direct predecessor — left off, and hears Nas and Hit-Boy’s partnership at an elevated level. The rapper’s recent three-year run is a testament to his legacy and power, and Crown Heights, New York-born rapper has proven that he is one of the few that have aged like fine wine.

50 Cent responds to Joe Budden’s praise

Few years back, Joe Budden gave his flowers to 50 Cent during one of the episodes of Complex magazine’s “Everyday Struggle.” It appears Fif has just saw the video of Budden praising him and instantly responded him on Twitter.

In the video, Joe Budden says: “50 Cent had the greatest run I have ever seen in my entire life and that will probably remain the same. That answer will never change. I’m very aware of all the people that 50 Cent had beet with. He shouldn’t have beat any of it. They tried to kill 50 Cent for years. He should have died. He did not.”

Then he continues: “He then had to deal with real life street beef with being blackballed. He shouldn’t have beat that. he shouldn’t have beat both of those things. He was on the greatest mixtape run that I have ever witnessed. Then he signs with Eminem, Dr. Dre. They put out “In Da Club.” It never went off. Never saw nothing like that. He delivered album! Classic! Millions of copies. I have never seen a ni–a do what 50 was able to do and accomplish and what he had to endure his way, you are not gonna beat that.”

50 Cent shared the clip on Twitter with the caption: “I just saw this Joe Budden. The ill s–t is it’s true. I had beef with 3 different guys that had influence, real gangstas, they all had crews that caught body’s running around putting in pain. I don’t know, I would just get mad, then say f–k them ni–as. LOL we all gonna die one day.”

Ja Rule says 50 Cent used to want to do a song with him to get big

During a recent interview with Math Hoffa, Mecc, Champ, Bigga, and Gat on My Expert Opinion, Ja Rule recounted a conversation he had with 50 Cent many years ago, during which he expressed his interest in collaborating on a song together. Initially, everything seemed fine between them.

“I use to go over to Jam Master Jay’s studio when he was signed to JMJ because Black Child was over there. He was also signing to JMJ. So I go over there, go see my n**ga Black. And you know… I was already on. I had a record deal with my n**gas Cash Money Click, so he used to kick it with me. 50 Cent used to want to do a record with me. The record never got done.” said Ja Rule.

Then he continued: “I got nothing against him but the record never got done. I’m busy, I’m running around, I’m trying to do things. It’s no slight to nobody, it just didn’t happen We had our first encounter in Atlanta. We had a talk. Uncle Chaz came to me, said, ‘Yo, homie ’bout to pull up. Would you want to have a conversation?’ I said, ‘Alright cool, we’ll have a conversation,'”

“And when we had a conversation — ‘Yo, it’s just a record. You know I’m just trying to get out there. Chump s–t, wack s–t. I’m a real artist, n**ga. I’m a real n**ga. This is wack to me, n**ga. I don’t give a f–k. If we’re gonna talk about it. Let’s talk about it. And I know what n**gas is gonna say at home. ‘Why are you talking about this 30 years later?’ I don’t want to talk about this. My n**gas right here want to talk about this. To me, 50 is not a real artist. That’s not a real man. It’s not a real n**ga. You know what I’m saying? To want to pull down other n**gas to pull yourself up? That ain’t my style. If you a real n**ga, go make your records and shine.” he added.

Watch: Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine & Paul Rosenberg surprise 50 Cent at his birthday party

Fiddy might have rapped about partying ‘like it’s your birthday’, on his iconic single “In Da Club,” from Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album but it appears 50 Cent favors a more low-key approach when it comes to his own born day.

West London locals were no doubt rather surprised to see the musician and actor, who was in London to perform at the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park on Saturday, enjoying a belated birthday celebration at Somalian restaurant, The Village, on Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith, on Sunday evening.

Friends, including music moguls Dr. Dre, Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg, Fredwreck and Jimmy Iovine who co-founded the Beats Electronics brand in California in 2006, put on a surprise belated birthday bash for the star, who actually turned 48 on July 6, 2023. Unfortunately, Eminem was missing.
