Watch: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent on Jimmy Kimmel Live

After getting a star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Dr. Dre sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live with Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent where the legendary hip-hop producer talked about Snoop Dogg’s upcoming album, Eminem’s upcoming album, making of “Get Rich Or Die Tryin‘” and “Forgot About Dre” and more. The crew also did “Dre’s Anatomy” sketch for JKL.

Dr. Dre on “Forgot About Dre”
Usually, the track is laid out [before the lyrics]. Every now and then artist comes in with the lyrics first and that has only happened couple of times in my career. One time it was with Eminem on a song called “Forgot About Dre.” Eminem wrote that. He had the entire song written before the track so we had to make the track work for his lyrics. He wrote that entire song.

Dr. Dre on Snoop Dogg’s upcoming album “Missionary” which is entirely produced by Dre himself
Let me take it from here. As long as we’ve been known each other…The first album I’ve done with Snoop was in 1993. And it’s the only album I ever produced on Snoop. 30 years ago, so now, believe it or not, we are getting together again and we are almost done with the album. The first album was called “Doggystyle” so we decided to flip it and call this one “Missionary.” [Snoop Dogg added: “It’s gonna come out. Dr. Dre will begin mixing in mid April.”]

Dr. Dre and 50 Cent on “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'”
50 Cent: Dre is complete inspiration for me. I’ve been listening to his music before it was even a serious idea for me to get next to him. And when I got to the studio, even our first record, it was four days, I think we did eight joints…
Dr. Dre: No, it was seven days. Okay, let me tell you the story. Let me interrupt 50 for a second. So, I did “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'” and it was supposed to be me producing half of the album and Eminem producing the other half. I was in the studio with 50 for just seven days of my entire half of the album. He came in there and went crazy. Writing, alright put up another one, writing, put up another one and we got entire thing done in seven days. At least my half. That’s what happened.

50 Cent reveals he’s featured on “The Missionary” album
I got one with Snoop. I’ll tell you how that works. I get text message from Dre, I get text message from Em almost simultaneously and it goes like ‘stop what you doing, I don’t care if you producing television shows, I don’t care what you doing, stop and figure out how to get this done for us right now because it’s that urgent.’ And then I went and wrote my part. When I get it done, I sent it back and I get fire emojis back cause Dre usually don’t say things.

Dr. Dre on new Eminem album
Let me tell you something. Let me explain something right now. Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year and I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So yeah, the album coming out, I got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually going to hear entire album for the first time tomorrow. He holds his music close to his chest so I have not heard everything. I have not even heard everything complete that I’ve done but I’m gonna hear it and he’s putting out album this year. There are things on there that I have to mix that I’ve done but I got a chance to hear album in its entirety.

Jimmy Kimmel gets embarrassing help from Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent & Snoop Dogg in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ parody

Last night, after Dr. Dre was awarded with the star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame, the iconic producer joined Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live with other hip-hop icons Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent. And he marked the occasion with parody of ABC’s popular TV show “Grey’s Anatomy” starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Eminem, titled “Dre’s Anatomy”

The sketch featured Jimmy Kimmel getting some humiliating help from the hip-hop legends (which mainly involves jokes about the size of his p-nis). The scene saw Kimmel wheeled into the ER where Dr. Dre diagnosed him as not having a p-nis. Dre then called in “Dr. Broadus” AKA Snoop Doggy Dogg, who wasn’t able to see until Dre handed him a magnifying glass.

At this point they called in a specialist, “Dr. Jackson,” and 50 Cent came out. “What do you think,” Dre asked as 50 Cent pulled out a giant telescope. After looking, 50 smirked and sighed. “Sorry,” he said to Kimmel. After an amazed reaction by Snoop, Dre opted to remove the offending organ — while receiving unhelpful directions from Snoop. “It looks like a piece of bubble gum,” Snoop said. “Guys, could you put that back? I came in for a colonoscopy,” Kimmel said. “I don’t know what’s going on here but I, maybe I’ll come back later? Tomorrow or something?”

“Relax, nephew,” Snoop said before putting an anesthetic face mask on Kimmel that was very obviously dispensing weed smoke. This sent Kimmel into a weird medical state as his heart rate elevated — but alas, the beeping of the EKG sounded like the opening notes of Dre’s hit song “Still” and the three rappers started performing instead. Which killed Kimmel. Rest in peace! The bit ended with a joke about how the show just before “Dre’s Anatomy” is called “EM” — starring Eminem. Watch the video clip above now.

DJ Kayotik talks about 50 Cent brining out Eminem in Detroit, Benzino vs Eminem & 50 Cent making “8 Mile” TV Show

50 Cent’s personal disc jockey, DJ Kayotik has recently sat down on RealLyfe Productions where he talked about 50 Cent brining out Eminem in Detroit at his Final Lap Tour, Benzino releasing Eminem’s tape where he raps about black girls when he was 15 years old and 50’s plans to release 8 Mile TV show about Eminem’s life story.

When Kayotik was asked to name his favorite show from 50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour, here is what he replied: “Detroit was incredible because we brought out Eminem and the energy of the city itself, just brining out one of his best friends in the industry that helped him to get where he is today. And to see the energy and his chemistry and commodity amongst them two was incredible. Aside from that, all oversea stuff was incredible.”

At one point of the interview, DJ Kayotik also shared his opinion on Benzino releasing alleged racist tape of Eminem when he was 15 years old: “It’s a reach. Em is part of the culture. Let’s be honest. How many Caucasian people do we know say ‘n-gga’. If anybody get a pass, it’s gonna be Em. It’s one of the things where I would not expect 50 Cent to say nothing because, one, he is his best friend and two, he’ll mind his business real quick. I’m not going to get entangled in that. It’s a reach. I feel like people reach and they want clickbait to figure out how to get energy. It’s like certain things that you don’t respond to. I probably didn’t even respond to this at this point. Eminem is Eminem. He is part of the culture. He has embraced the culture. He paved the way and shaped the culture of hip-hop. Aside from what he did for 50, he’s a hell of an artist. Hell of a hip-hop artist and you can’t take that away from him. He ain’t diamond for no reason.”

Then DJ Kayotik briefly spoke about 50 Cent’s plans to release “8 Mile” TV show that describes the life of Eminem: “The new one that he’s getting ready to do and that’s not a secret, he’s getting ready to do Eminem story. Him and Em have the ties that they have that whole intricate part of it and his rising from the Detroit scene. I’m interested how he puts that together. You seen the content he puts out. It’s going to be top notch. So to see it coming to fruition, I’m looking forward to that. And I think he’s most excited about that as well. You got to get green light from Em to say ‘Do my story!’ so best friends or not, Em could be like ‘No!'”

Eminem talks about possible joint album with 50 Cent

Eminem has recently sat down with DJ Whoo Kid Shade 45 radio where Whoo Kid asked him about the new music, on which, Slim Shady replied: “Absolutely nothing. Nah man, I’m working on little something.”

Then Whoo Kid asked about the potential joint album with 50 Cent and here is what Eminem replied: “50 Cent and Eminem collaboration album? Where that come from? I don’t know whose idea that was but that’s crazy. Yo, I’m trying to get him to make another album so bad. We need another 50 album, like, really bad bro. 50’s on the roll right now. He’s been on the roll since the tour and I told him he needs a f–king…whatever he needs from me, I’m here. That’s sh–t be crazy though, an album with me and him.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Eminem talked about Detroit Lions: “I never thought in my lifetime that I would ever even see this. I didn’t realize how good the team actually was and when we beat Kansas City in the first game I was like BRO! F–king Goff…It’s the whole f–king team. Everything is clicking right now. I love Stafford man. I love what Stafford did for us when he was here but bro, Goff is, he’s f–king surgical.” he said.

Then he continued: “If Deebo don’t play, it’d be so great [Laughs]. Does he not feel good or something? I don’t know if he really wants to test that shoulder and injure it more. 49ers are great team and they really gonna be hard to beat. I’m so into what’s going on right now, I can’t even think about anything else. This is taking precedence over my entire life right now. We went to championship game 32 years ago. But we only won one playoff game back then. There were less games. We have never gotten this far. I know it’s a championship game but we never won two playoff games and we are so close bro. I have to be there. There is no f–king way I’m not gonna be there and I just saw today that Ben Johnson might be going to [Washington] Commanders and if he leaves us bro…Ben Johnson, if you leave us, diss record is coming! Diss song is coming!”

Bang Em Smurf recalls Eminem signing 50 Cent to Shady Records & altercation with Suge Knight

Bang Em Smurf, one of the early members of 50 Cent’s hood gang who helped forming G-Unit, has recently sat down Cam Capone News where he recalled the early days of Eminem signing 50 Cent to Shady Records.

“When we got signed, before we actually secured the deal with Eminem, DJ Clue tried to come with better deal than Eminem but we declined that too. We declined all of them top executives. 50 wanted with Em and Dre. Eminem had to convince Dr. Dre to sign that deal. It was Em who really wanted Fif.” Said Bang Em Smurf.

Then he continued: “We recorded in the west coast but all the recording was not in the west coast. Eminem signed so we used to go to Detroit a lot too. We used to go to Eminem’s personal studio in Detroit. We go to LA cause that’s where the Interscope office was. I was in Dre studio. We were back and forth, we were everywhere with Fif, I was his righthand man, me, YaYo, before he went to jail. We were the ones who were making the moves. I’m the ni–a holding them down.”

“We were signed to Eminem, the biggest artist, that’s the great accomplishment. Eminem is still the biggest thing to this day. Ain’t nobody bigger than Em. Shout out to Eminem. That was a great feeling, great experience, thankful of being part of it. It was dope man, to see your dreams actually come true and unfold in front of you. Some dope s–t.” – Bang Em Smurf added.

Then he was asked about shooting the video of ‘In Da Club,” the lead single of Get Rich Or Die Tryin‘ album: “You know Suge pulled up. We was not going for it, we backed him down and he came with some Mexicans. Suge tried to press the video shoot but ain’t nothing happened. We held it down. Suge seen all them New York guys out there and they wanted no problem. He just dropped his cigar on the floor, stepped on it and left. That’s how Suge was. He’ll come to check the temperature, dig, so if he feels he could bully, he going to bully. He couldn’t bully that day but his presence was definitely felt cause all the executives and staff were going crazy all over the place. They scared to death. That was another dope experience. Eminem was inside at the beginning but then he came out outside, he ran and grabbed the vest and came outside with it.”

50 Cent reveals first thing he bought after signing to Eminem

50 Cent has revealed his first major purchase after being signed to Eminem’s Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment for $1 million.

Speaking to Apple Music’s Rebecca Judd while backstage at the London leg of his Final Lap Tour earlier this month, Fif revealed he bought a gift for a much-loved family member.

“I bought my grandmother a C220 Benz. I’ll never forget because when I got the car, I got it right away is the first thing I bought when the deal was done.” 50 Cent said.

50, who was raised by his grandparents after his mother died when he was eight, also admitted his grandfather wasn’t pleased with the gift as he was stuck with their old car.

“And then I went on the tour and I came back and my grandfather was on the porch and he was having a moment. So he was like, ‘I just went to work. I went to work, hurt my back, came back, and she done brainwashed my kids.’

“And he was talking about my grandmother because he was looking at her car in the front yard and he didn’t have a car. He had the older car and he said, ‘I went to work, hurt my back. Until my back hurt, everything.’” Fif added.

50 Cent brings out Ed Sheeran at his Final Lap Tour in London

Tuesday night (November 21) at 50 Cent ‘s “Final Lap” event at London’s O2 Arena, fans were treated to a very special surprise guest. During his performance a giant box on stage flashed the message “there’s a monster in this box,” as the familiar strains of Ed Sheeran‘s “Shape of You” filled the arena and Fif said “turn it up even more!”

Ed then popped out from under the box — without his signature acoustic guitar — and began singing his 2017 smash while dapping up 50 who added some ad libs and joined the clearly excited Sheeran on the chorus. Sheeran chronicled the special moment on his Instagram Story, writing, “50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing ‘Shape of You,’” along with footage of himself walking around beforehand backstage singing to 50’s “21 Questions.”

Though they were in all-white on stage, 50 posted some backstage images of the men in all black yukking it up with the message, “My man came through for me tonight, BOOM, LONDON went crazy! It don’t get bigger than this.”

Sheeran also previewed his walk-out in an Instagram Live video shared by 50, in which the singer tells the camera, “50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing ‘Shape of You,’ and I’m going to walk on stage and go, ‘Who likes ‘In Da Club?… Here’s ‘Shape of You.’” Ed then sings a bit of 50’s “21 Questions” before a stagehand loads him into the lift that positions him inside the box as he yells “In Da Club!”

Afterwards, a hyped Sheeran can’t stop yelling “In Da Club!” as he leaves the stage and retreats to a sky box to watch the show and rap along to “Many Men” and, of course “In Da Club.”

50 Cent says scrapped “Relapse 2” album had 5 songs with Eminem & talks about 8 Mile TV series

50 Cent has recently talked about new music, friendship with Eminem, Relapse 2 album and 8 Mile TV series on Evropa 2. You can check out the interview below.

“When I’m not moving around and not touring and doing things, then its gonna permit me to focus on creating music. You get little more of what you get from Dr. Dre and Eminem from me at that point.” said 50 Cent.

Then he continued: “When the last time you have seen Eminem on tour? You see what I’m saying? It’s been a while but he’ll go and make music. Because his passion is still in music. He’s like a lab-rat. He’ll go to the studio and come up with something new.”

“Em is like my best friend to be honest. It’s rare when you run into someone who always has your best interest at heart. There is no point that he’s not looking at it and going is that good for him. He won’t want me to do it if it’s not good for me. They tried to get him to do the Super Bowl he would not do it without me.” 50 Cent added.

Then the interviewer asked if there will be any new song with Eminem, on which, Fif replied: “We have a whole CD together. He did Relapse and when he didn’t see the response that he wanted, he scrapped Relapse 2. And then went to Recovery. On Relapse 2, we had 4-5 songs on the album together but the world will probably never hear that record.”

“Em may not release it but he’s gonna make new music. This guy goes like people go to work from 9 to 5. He gets up and goes in recording studio from 9 to 5 like its a job. So he’s always coming up with something. He’s always doing something.”

After that, Fiddy was asked about the 8 Mile TV series that he’s planning to make in future: “8 Mile is a huge hit. I think its important for his legacy and it needs to be done correctly so I’m really tedious about who comes in as a writer showrunner for the project and how its structured and put together.”

You can listen to entire thing below:
