Westside Boogie Eyes Eminem & Kendrick Lamar Features for New Album

Westside Boogie has officially shared the blueprint for his highly anticipated third Shady Records album. Speaking in a new interview with Timmy 2Dope, the Compton rapper finally broke his silence on when fans can expect the new project, revealing a timeline that until now had been kept entirely under wraps.

When asked about his album release date, Boogie dropped the exclusive news: “I ain’t told nobody but my plan that I came up with last night while I was drunk that I’mma drop my album on my birthday, August 30th. You are first people I’m telling. I’m dropping the album on that day and hopefully I got to stand on it. ”

As for what the project will sound like, the album remains a pure reflection of Boogie’s solo vision for the time being. “I’m more so just finishing the songs. I usually think about features after so I ain’t really thought it through yet,” he explained when asked about the album title and guest appearances.

However, Boogie already has his eyes set on two hip-hop titans for potential collaborations to help him secure some new hardware. “If Eminem or Kendrick Lamar bless me, I’m lit. So, Eminem or Kendrick! I’m pretty sure I could get it if I asked so I just gotta ask. I would love to see that. I need a plaque.”
