D12 Drop New Album “D12 Forever”

Twenty-two years after their last major studio album, the legendary Detroit rap collective D12 has officially returned with their highly anticipated project, D12 Forever (Vol. 1). Released today, June 19, 2026, the drop purposefully aligns with the 25th anniversary of their multi-platinum commercial debut, Devil’s Night.

While the group’s classic era featured a larger roster, D12 Forever is spearheaded by core members Kuniva and Swifty McVay, who carry the torch as a duo. Former frontman Eminem, Bizarre and Denaun Porter officially retired from the group years ago. However, the duo keeps the signature gritty, dark-humor energy of the Shady era alive while pushing their sound into a new chapter.

To fill the sonic space traditionally occupied by the full collective, the 15-track album relies on an impressive, star-studded lineup of hip-hop and funk legends. Fans will hear heavy-hitting guest features from the likes of Method Man, Xzibit, B-Real, Tech N9ne, Ice-T, and the iconic George Clinton. The rollout was led by aggressive, rock-infused singles like “Tear It Down” and “Nightmare Walking.”

Beyond the high-energy bars, D12 Forever serves as a deeply emotional tribute to the group’s late members, Bugz and Proof. The tracklist includes previously unheard archive verses from Proof on tracks like “Even Kings Kneel” and “Forever.” In a powerful nod to the family legacy, Proof’s son, Eli Ble$$ed, also features on the touching tribute track “Proof & Eli.”
