T.I. was asked to choose between Eminem & Jay-Z records

T.I. stopped by for an episode of HipHopDx’s Sound Check where he had to make some difficult decisions in a song battle format. From some of his favorite rappers like Eminem and Jay Z, to new Atlanta stars like Playboi Carti and Young Thug, this show spans T.I.’s entire playlist.

When he was asked to choose between Eminem’s “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” and Jay-Z’s “99 Problems,” here is what Tip replied: “Those are two good ones. I love them both but I would say I’m probably more partial to the Jay-Z record. Jay-Z and Rick Rubin combination is kind of undeniable.”

At the end of the show, Jeremy has to make a guess about which song is TIP’s lifetime anthem, the song that he would want to be stuck on an island with forever.
