Stat Quo on how he messed up relationship with Eminem Posted on February 8, 2026 By Remy Gelenidze In one of the recent episodes of 3rd Verse Podcast, former Shady Records artist Stat Quo talked how he messed up the relationship with Eminem.“I made mistakes when I was in Shady Records. Eminem wanted to put out particular single, it was called “Dance On It.” Eminem wrote the hook and made the beat. And I told Em, “yeah, we could use this as a single. I’ll put it out if you give me a million dollars and you rap on it.” Em got so mad, he stormed out of the studio. And I remember Dre was like ‘why would you say that?’ I was like ‘was that wrong?’ He’s like ‘yeah! that’s wrong!’ It was over. Em was like, ‘f–k it, I’m done. I tried to help you.'” said Stat Quo. Then he continued: “I said it cause I didn’t like the song. But I messed up for say that. I was not thinking that through. When someone who sold quadrillion albums tells you that something should be a single, you should be quiet and that should be a single cause had that come out, Marshall would championed it.”You can watch the interview below: RECENT RELATED ARTICLES3rd Verse podcast crew talk about Eminem’s “STANS” documentaryFebruary 13, 2026Eminem once wrote whole album from hamster’s perspectiveFebruary 6, 2026Stat Quo recalls Eminem storiesJanuary 16, 2026D12’s Bizarre alludes that Stat Quo ghostwrote The Game’s Eminem-diss trackSeptember 19, 2022Wack 100, Stat Quo, Rockwilder & others talk why Eminem is the GOATJanuary 6, 2022J.
