Eminem once wrote whole album from hamster’s perspective

During one of the recent episodes of 3rd Verse podcast, former Shady Records artist Stat Quo revealed one of the funniest Eminem stories ever told.

“Remember the hamster going up at Richard Gere’s? Eminem did like a whole album, he wrote that from the perspective of hamster. That’s when I knew he was a maniac and ill MC. He was the hamster. And his life travelling up and down to Richard Gere’s a-s. That’s what needs to be dropped. That s–t is incredible. And it was dope too. It was good. That’s the point I’m trying to make. It was good. How great is that?” said Stat Quo.

A very long time ago, before the internet, a rumor claimed that actor Richard Gere was hospitalized after a hamster-related sexual incident. It’s one of the most infamous Hollywood urban legends, and it’s completely false — but it spread like wildfire in the ’90s.
