Erick Sermon talks what Eminem mentioning in 8 Mile meant for his kids

Legendary Erick Sermon of EPMD recently sat down on Juan Ep Is Life podcast with Peter Rosenberg where he talked about Eminem mentioning him in the 8 Mile movie.

“When Eminem mentioned my name in 8 Mile battle, I got cool with my kids. In school, they were telling my kids ‘yo, is your dad the one Eminem said?’ 8 Mile was that big that no nmatter what, him saying my name was huge to my kids.” said Erick Sermon.

In 8 Mile movie, B- Rabbit (Eminem) used Erick Sermon’s name in a battle against Lyckety-Splyt: “This guy raps like his parents jerked him / He sounds like Erick Sermon, the generic version.” Eminem raps.
